Logs
Quick find, contents now rusty and soggy. Unable to get log out of container tftc
Quick find with all the likely hints around. GPS spot on but contents wet and no way to sign.
Wet place, came past trying to find my way across to Tuatapere - finally got the right road!
Found while in the area with Granville86a. Couldnt sign log, was a slimmy mess, would have fixed but didnt have anything on me.
The bag this cache was in is holey and everything was soaking as it had been submerged in water
Not my favourite style of hide, and the cache is absolutely soaked and needs either drying or replacing. Cheers Gav
That took a few minutes to locate. Used to go on the school bus along this road, that was more than a couple of years ago.
The area was VERY wet and cache not in the flax bush matching the description so we had to have quite a hunt around. Finally found it in a large flax further away from the site.
5 of 17 on a day caching trip. An easy find once in the right spot. TFTC

This cache has been on our "to do" list for quite awhile so am pleased to be able to tick it off because it really is "out of the way"! I just happened to put my hand in the right spot to find it! Yay!
This was very nearly a DNF. Had a good look but the co-ordinates were all over the place. Shame really, we thought. Looked at the clue, and looked high and low and finally found out of place. Hope we put it back in a better place. TFTC
DNF: Arrived at GZ and got out of the car and was about to go and have a look for this one when the heavens opened up and it started raining again, we waited a few minutes and the weather cleared a little BUT it was still raining, but we decided to have a quick look, got near GZ but couldn't get the GPS to settle so decided to give it a miss and will look at trying next time if we get down here again.
Nice day to find this cache as ground was dry. Good to get this cahe of our to do list.

Second visit no wet feet this time. Bit like searching for a needle in a haystack though. TFTC
Spent a short time looking at GZ but as the surface water was quite deep and our boots a bit short decided to move on.
Not found 10/7/10. 3 0f us searched for 15 minutes without success.2 of the the 3 searchers had found it previously in Jan.2010,so must be well hidden!
Our last find for the day out. Easy find as co-ords were spot on. TFTC [^]
Quick find on th eway back home from a paddle on the Waiau. Yes WEKA you had hidden it well as well!
An interesting location, made more so by the sign under “46° South†which says "West". Is that the name of the people who live there? Coordinates were accurate but it still took a while to find the cache. TFTC
CAme back to this cache and managed to find it this time! I was looking in the actual 'hint's around it that were smaller last time. TFTC
After reading the logs we took our gumboots with us,and were pleased we had them.Found the cache quite quickly between rain showers.
My least favourite of about 300 finds this week I'm sorry to say. Fell into the deliberate trap and got quite wet, clue is misleading, I am never impressed by "synk ohfu" hides, and to put a micro in one?
Got very wet feet searching for this one. After all the rain last night the roadside ditch was full. TFTC
