We parked nearby and made our way up the hill. Found the cache fairly quickly. The cache doesn't need to be archived, nor does it need much maintenance, if at all. The original logbook is soaked, but there is still a dry piece of paper to write on.
Please don't log a 'Needs Archived' if the cache is still there and ready to be found.
Thanks EdenDanny.

#304. 27 days in a row.
After abandoning my search for Upper Urambi, I checked which other caches were near and this one popped up as being on the way back down. Didn't notice that it was disabled until I was already at GZ. The cache is still in place, but the original log book is still disgustingly wet. Signed the other log sheet which has been added.

The cache appears to be in need of owner intervention.
I am temporarily disabling it, to give the owner an opportunity to check on the cache, and take whatever action is necessary.
Please respond to this situation in a timely manner (i.e., within 28 days) to prevent the cache from being archived for non-responsiveness.
If you require more time please be sure to post a note (not an email) explaining the situation and how much more time you require.
For ongoing issues please ensure you visit the page and post a note every 28 days to keep everyone up to date or the cache will be treated as an abandoned cache and archived without further notice.

Fifth of six for the day... Dead easy find from 30m out, not using a GPS. Cache is wet, and the original log is a stinking mess! Signed the separate paper there, which was dry.
This cache needs work!

An easy find for TaurusSix and I. The original log is soaked, but the replacement worked well.
Quick find thanks to the clue, as previously mentioned this was full of water. The replacement page is still intact but the original log book is nothing but mush now. TFTC
I don't usually take my kit up a hill late in the arvo, but I'd read the logs on this one and found it was wet. This cache really needs help, but I,ve made running repairs. Your log is saturated, and is fit only for the bin, I think - it is going to end up mildewed. I dried the cache as well as I could - there was more water in it - and I've left you another ziploc bag with a dry log page in it. That'll hold it for a while. I've also moved it about 30cm. It was sitting in a hollow which fills with water in the rain. It's still under the same "clue", and will end up in the same hollow in heavy rain, but I didn't want to move it too far.
I'm going to add a tea towel to my kit!!!

It's a really nice arvo for walk, so the GeoSchnauzers and I have set off up the hill. This one was a nice quick grab, thanks!! Great views on the way back, as well!!
Whilst found, the log was full and sodden.
I tipped out over an inch of water from the cache and tried to put it in a different position (the same spot still) where it will get less water damage.

the 4th of my 4 finds in this neck of the woods. Had detoured to the trig where a couple of eagles put on a great display until I got my camera out of the bag. No oinks to be seen anywhere but thanks for the mornings entertainment.
On a little caching lap around Urambi Hills and the Murrumbidgee River. A quick find. TFTC.
First of the day for Sitehounder and myself (with geodog). Nice easy one before walking up the 'hill'. TFTC
An easy find for Mack96 and my first find of the day before starting the long haul up to the top of the hill. I dropped off the the spider TB.
The name of this cache was appropriate for me as I had spent the morning at the animal farmyard nursery. SL TFTC

Found this cache rather easily with my mate Jerry and his second cousin. Dead Skippy must have been near by giving off a bad odour. Nevertheless, thanks for the cache.
this cache was named after what i thought the log looked like, i helped place it,
Our second day and our fourth cache. But our first swap cache the girls flipped out:-)
Nice walk, had to circumvent a big bull grazing with some cattle but it was a nice easy find. TFTC
Nice hide for the Jr Cachehunters to find and do some toy swaps on a cracking spring day. TFTC.

Sunday 2 September - a beautiful warm spring afternoon with a crisp nippy cold wind when reaching the top of the hills. Saw lots of large imposing red kangaroos that were not in the least intimidate as they were approached. A fun and easy cache. Thx p2p, TFTC
722. The first find today with a wander up and around the hill. A nice frosty start to a great walk. Grabbed "The Barrel". TFTC.
Found @ 2020 - I was originally going to call it a night after proving that I can indeed Sudoku, but when I saw the name of this cache I just had to do it - it's almost as if it were calling me! A nice quick find on a chilly evening, though I did nearly roll an ankle when I stepped into one of many potholes hidden by the grass. TNLNSL-TFTC.
Found it, but no pen! Have to come back to sign! -doodzmacca, ruthless pirate, major cliche, spawnage
Well this was suppose to be the 3/3 of the caches for our Christmas present location... Well guess what, its NOT. Now Theres a puzzle to solve #%^£}#z. Had to phone a friend. For a clue... ?????? YAY we got it. : ) to find all these caches has been fun, seen kangaroos, lizards the size of dinasour, cows mooing, lots of wild flowers along the way, now we need a shower. TFTC now to our final location. Merry Christmas
After claiming another cache we noticed that this one was only 400 m away albeit uphill.
Thanks EdenDanny

Out for a days caching with Steeba and Hoojar. This was one of a few finds we made today.
We were appreciative that we could closer than most since a nearby gate was open.
Thanks

Found with The Rats and Hoojar on long days run through Canberra.
The gate was open down the bottom of the hill which made things much easier . TFTC!

We were able to sneak closer to this one thanks to an open gate! A pleasant surprise as it had not been on our hit list!

From puddles to pigs. Lovely hill side walk and a few different views of this hill reserve.
Thank for the find.
Thank for the find.
Nice find at the start of a 6k lunchtime geowalk. More climbing to come me thinks. TFTC
Fletch the geo-hound & I took a stroll up this hill, with several other folks around too.
Very nice views. Although, what's with all the fences on this hillside?

nice and easy find.
For some reason, when i opened the container, one of the swaps (a frog?) flew out and landed on me. That was weird....
Now, to tackle the rest of the hill!

yaaaaaaay found it. Took the two travel bugs to place up at the north coast and port maquarie.
We took geohound Cougar out for a walk and decided to tackle Urambi again. Went up top first to get a photo for the Trig then wandered back down to find this cache. On nearing the GZ we spotted a little wombat. cute but unfortunately he was blind and full of mange...hope this winter isn't too bad or he won't make it through. Easy find once past this balding unofficial guardian, TNLNSL. TFTC
Found it on an afternoon of cache-hunting at Urambi, with rain threatening, but not coming in the end. So my two sons and I stayed dry. TNLN SL

The first cache I found on a trip up mount Urambi. The rain was closing in and this proved to be my only 'dry' find for the day! TFTC.
Last find after a nice hike this afternoon. Lovely time of the afternoon had the area in the shade of the hill. Passed by a few locals bounding around in the twilight. Nice and healthy looking. TNLN. TFTC.
Nice hide,..........................Many thanks for the hide.

Found on a short hike up Urambi - did need to cut our way through the metre high grass though! TFTC!
Had some time to kill so decided to do all six cahes on Mt Urambi. This one was first. Dropped in a TB and picked up the one that was in the cache. TFTC.
Quick find on my last outing for this trip to Canberra. Dropped off a Unite for Diabetes TB
