Could the CO please confirm that this cache is still here? Hasn’t been supposedly found since June last year...Cheers

With a free morning I decided to visit some local areas to tidy up some unfound caches. I'd visited here before without finding anything, but today managed to find it after some searching.
This cache is in average condition, and makes smilie #3008. Thanks **bassology** for showing us this spot. Feel free to discover our trackable TGQNRV .

After a quick find back down the road, this one appeared on the map and I thought I may as well come and take a quick look.
As I walked down my GPS pointed in one direction and following it around soon resulted in the cache in hand I got my name in the log book and soon replaced and on my way.

#7627 Cache Found
Early morning start again today left home around 3:30am. Heading South down towards the Moreton Bay area. Loaded the MTB onto the geo truck and trundled down the thin black line with a surprising amount of traffic for company. Nice little cache thanks for bringimg me here and for the adventure
Thanks for the great cache and adventure bassology
This Day in Music
1949, RCA Victor introduced the 45rpm single record, which had been in development since 1940. The 7-inch disc was designed to compete with the Long Playing record introduced by Columbia a year earlier. Both formats offered better fidelity and longer playing time than the 78rpm record that was currently in use. Advertisements for new record players boasted that with 45rpm records, the listener could hear up to ten records with speedy, silent, hardly noticeable changes.

Found it good little hiding place a few muggles and mosquitoes but still a lot of fun
Out for a day of caching in this area. This one took quite a while to find but in the end the clue helped us locate the hide. TNLNSL TFTC
Found this one quite easily. Container is quite dirty, looks to have been wet inside. might need a tidy up
A bit tricky but found it the cache had nothing in it so we left a few little things.
I was in the area this afternoon, with not a lot of time to spare, but still needing my cache for the day. I parked the car and wandered down the path. I quickly reached GZ and began to wander around. The cache was soon found and my name added tot he logbook. TFTC
Yaaaaay!!! After 2 failed attempts I finally found that little sucker.

Took a few circles to locate as signal strength under the canopy was not great. TFTC
My GPS put me in the middle of an area that had been cleared recently (reasonably fresh tree stumps).
Smilie #2471
Headed over the bridge into 'Northside' country to steal a few smilies.
This was to be our last cache find for the day before heading back to the Southside.
We were hoping for a quick find as night was fast approaching.
Lucky us!
A nice quick find here.

A quick park-n-grab on my way through. It is apparent the container and contents were soaking wet at some point, but all was dry this time around, although the was a lot of rust on one of the swaps inside. I replaced the container with slightly more cover so it isn't so obvious. TFTC bassology.
Nice spot with the kids - didn't have a pen on us so couldn't sign the log this time.
Found while over this side of town. Nice quick find and met fellow cacher. Tftc
After completing more of the monster series we decided to head over to the entertainment centre.
I replaced the log book, but it will not last long as the zip bag was also saturated so I removed it as well.
Thanks for placing this cache bassology

Bit of searching but finally had it in hand. It needs replacing as the log is wet.
Found it and placed new log but cache needs an update so it stays dry. TFTC
Ahh, curses!! I've just read the previous logs, if I'd read them beforehand I'd have repaired it, but today I'm after just one cache, and I had nothing with me but the GPSr.
I've had a bit of trouble today, this is my fourth go at a cache. The closest I've got so far is 2 metres, but it was on the other side of a 2 metre fence. With the others I sought, I decided against them on grounds of location. I found this one easily, but signing was harder - I ended up signing the ziploc bag with my write-on-anything scribing stick.
This was a nice little park, tucked away where I wouldn't normally go. As I'm here, there are two other caches in the area, I'll try them as well.

We located this one after a search of all the bigger rocks..then a smaller one. Container and log are very very wet, had trouble even signing, however it was logged and off we went.
Did this start as a biscuit tin?
I will email the CO a photo of the wet log and cache.
Out with Hot Wheels Duo for the day.
Thanks bassology.

It turns out CO is inactive since 2010. Maybe one of the next lot of finders can replace.

As the previous finder wrote... This cache has pretty much drowned... I left a kiwi coin as my mark... and a needs maintenance log to follow... tftc...
Geo Wife, Geo Youngest Girl & I were heading way up North to the Dark side to pick up a beautiful little dress for our 1 year old grand daughter so we had to make the trip worthwhile of course!!!
So what ones of hundreds will we pick?? I checked out our D/T chart then checked for possibilities and also the Queensland Oldest Caches Challenge to see if any were anywhere near where we were going.
Having selected a few good ones we then filled the day with ones we passed by.
We had picked up the dress very close by so on our way back out of the area we spotted this cache.
We loved this little secluded park!!!
Geo Wife and Daughter were a bit off beam but I went straight to the point I had thought and had the cache in hand in seconds, they couldn't believe it!!
Thanks Bassology TFTC SL TNLN

Headed out to find a few more caches, in an area we had started previously.
Cache was found quickly, and in good condition.
Many thanks for placing this cache, bassology, for us and others to find.

TFTC. Good little spot. recovered and returned. Needs a new log book as old one is water damaged
All good with the cache. Started at the wrong spot, this was one of the last spots to look at!! TFTC
After knocking off a couple of high D/T caches earlier this morning it was time to get the heart rate and bloodpressure back under control with some friendlier caches. Managed the find with the aid of the hint. Tftc

In the area tonight with Net88 who had found this cache before and I decided to have a look for it. after parking close by and wandering in along the path, scaring cane toads as we went, the hunt was on. It took quite a while of sifting through all the Lomandra and I was starting to lose hope on the whole thing when Net came up with the goods. The sistema container is wildly different to the container I was expecting from the title. Also, the logbook looks like it has just come back from a SCUBA holiday and is unsignable. TFTC bassology
Mozzies out in force but cach quickly found. Tftc. So many nice parks around here!
I have to admit I have walked passed before but that was just a quick look.
This time I had more luck and found it very quick. I think it had to do with the position of the rock.
Left Geocoin.

Have been here twice before (see logs below) so it was nice to search muggle free tonight and find this cache. GPS took me to the right spot this evening, for a quick find using the torch. The logbook was dry enough to sign.
It's nice to clear this one up - it is the only traditional cache in a sea of nasty puzzles on my first page of unfound caches. TFTC bassology

Log is u/s nice hide right under everyone’s noses, was Beginning to think we weren’t going to find it.
I had some subtle direction from NyletaM and Alkzura to help me find this well hidden container. Despite the serious trimming the gardeners had done it was still safe in its spot. TFTC
The muggle council workers were mulching the gardens in this park at lunchtime today. Well, more accurately, they were have an afternoon sleep in the shade not far from GZ. Anyway, I coudn't search.
