Logs
Found together with Zouave and avoyager on the way back from Frog Rock. Plenty of possible hosts, but it was Zouave who spotted the camouflage first. We were glad the cache is found often enough to not end up being buried under needles. TFTC!
Found with Gazania Rigens and avoyager who we had met at the Ribbet cache just before. Great to chat with her on our way back to our cars via this cache. We were slightly bewidered by the profusion of possibilities for this one, but I spotted some familiar cache camo and the search was over. All in good order and rehidden as before.TFTC
After meeting Gazania Rigens & Zouave at the previous cache, we joined up to go and find this one. Went around in a few circles before spotting it. [TFTC]
Short little walk to the easy cacheIm enjoying my day off with a nice weather under the treeThank you !
We found this on our last day staying at Lake Tekep. Thanks for an excuse to walk through the park.
Spotted the hiding place as we approached making it a nice easy find. Nobody else around today and only one other car in the car park! TFTC
Found on 24.3.24 but only now getting around to logging our first GeoCache.... this is going to be FUN!
Found it. Our first geocache successfully located Left a Lego treat for the next person
Staying nearby in the caravan and looked at the maps noticing a good cycle up here in the forest. Not too hard for me on the ebike - just have to navigate the huge piles of pine cones on some of the tracks.Leant the bike against a tree nearby and wandered across to the cache. Tucked away nicely TFTC
Made a pigs ear of finding our way to gz to start with. Somehow we were wandering off in the wrong direction completely missing the main drag through the trees. Corrected ourselves & were soon on the right track. Man it was hot on that open section of track. Made a quick, easy find once close to gz, helped by the little camo pile. We decided against walking up to the other two caches here, a bit hot for us today. TFTC

Beautiful spot to explore after a morning coffee. I was quite taken with the idea of moa bones being found here. Unusually for me, I got a little disoriented and ended up having to double back to start moving in the right direction to get to the cache. Tried out three hint objects before reaching the right one. TFTC
This morning we walked and explored the park. Except a family playing in the snow in the carpark, we were aline. Found at the third item checked. The log is soaking wet, we almost can't write in it. The container is ok, one of the lid flaps is broken. This cache needs a bit of love.
Ok so I managed to get the date in log b4 pen was too wet to write. TFTC. Good work out for me in here while my partner is in hot pools!
Im sure this is a fabulous park for keen cyclists. I managed to draw blood on a previous cache so wasn't overly happy by the time I got here. The log was quite wet but writeable. Thanks for bringing us here bitsprayer
Nice cycling up in the area..cache found log signed and returned to the hiding place thanks Bitsprayer
Found - Mrs McMike2012 & I now live full-time in our caravan & travel the country visiting places we want to visit … we are now parked up at the NZMCA Campsite at Lake Tekapo for a couple of days, exploring in & around the local area … we decided that we would go for a walk around the Lake Tekapo Regional Park … a haven for mountain bikers & walkers … thought it would be rude not to check out the caches in the area … found this one with no issues, signed log & replaced … pleased to add another 'smiley face' to the tally … TFTC ... TN:LN:SL ... #2,325 for us.
Started out this morning just to walk 800m to get the cache along from the camp. Ended up doing all of the caches in the park. What a great area.TFTC
