The GPSr wouldn't settle and none of the spots searched revealed a cache. The cold forced an early retreat so we'll have to return another time for this one...
We looked under everythinf that looked like an artificial rock but couldn't find anything...
Had a good look for this cache but had no luck might pay for the owner to check this one will watch this one and try another day

Mr Geckoh seemed to be taking far too long to locate this one, so the rest of the team went to help him out only to hear 'found it' as soon as we got near. TFTC

Every single time I have been past here with spare time to cache the place was swarming with muggles - not so today, or shall I say tonight - not a soul in sight in the bleak weather and fading sun (what sun aanyway?) - the dug up area around gz (sewage?) probably deterred some as well - and I don't think we were supposed to climb over the barrier and jump the ditch, but oh well successfull extraction by tunfisk, and then a hurdles run back to the car - TFTC!!!
A bit difficult to reach the cache since I was going from the wrong direction.
Found with Hinemoana.

Had a brief look for this one before with no luck, didn't long this time. Found with Aoraki Sheep.
Finally got this one. Having been thrown off the hunt a few times, plus being unable to even try because of the muggles sitting right at GZ, I finally had a pleasant day with not a muggle in sight. Charlotte had intended to kayak, but the wind was too strong, so I decided to go for it. Scrabbled here and there and was about to give up when I saw a likely spot, felt around and there it was. Should not have taken me this long -- just must have hit a blind spot, I think.

Was in Dunedin to attended the first ever Mega in New Zealand. Managed to work it out so that I was able to team up with -gonefishing-, fozzmiester and agcnz on an 8 day caching trip around the South Island, this was day 5 of the road trip. This was our last day of caching in Dunedin region and we wanted to go back out to the Peninsula and pick up a few more caches.
After finding GC3YP3Z - It's Rayning Birds #3 (Otago), this was the next cache that we had on our list that we wanted to pick up on our way around Portobello Road, as we making our way around the Peninsula.
Making our way towards GZ, as made our way around Macandrew Bay we managed to find a parking spot not too far away from the cache and it was a short easy walk to GZ and it only took a few seconds to find the cache, we were lucky as we used the hint and managed to retrieve, signed and replaced the cache back as found very quickly.
Thanks us04 for placing this cache here and for bringing us to this spot, TFTC TNLNSL (5119). That was a very clever little hint [xx(], wasnt expecting something like this

One or two muggles around but they didn't cause us any problems. A quick find. TFTC
Found as part of an 8 day NZ Mega Event trip. Day 5 - Our last full day in Dunedin which was mainly filled in by another trip out on the peninsular and a stroll on Flagstaff hill. Thanks to the owners of the 500 + caches which I had the pleasure to find along the way and which contributed to a very fun trip.

Came here with fozzmiester, -gonefishing- and Yeetrees on a pleasant morning drive out on the Peninsula. I had come here a couple of years ago hunting for this one but I'm pretty sure it wasn't there, This time the cache was a quick find about 6 metres away from where I was doing most of the hunting last time. Signed log, TFTC!
Found on the great post-Mega roadtrip with agcnz, fozzmiester and yeetrees. A great trip from Otago to Wellington, taking in many backroades and some fantastic scenery along to way to over 400 caches. Thanks to all the cache owners for the great caches we found on the way.
Thanks for the cache, us04.

09:05 Had to PAF who'd PAF on this... Night caching was a big 'F' last night. But I saw it immediately I was at GZ today, while PAF, walking JC Cache Dawg (who just loves running on sandy beaches and whom, not knowing he's not a cat, just ran straight up the five block high retaining wall at the Northern end) and drinking mocha from the nearby silver coffee 'van. Knew exactly what I was looking for but lack of carrots apparent last night. GZ looks well thrashed in daylight - loads of cacher's signatures I knew too, all in the last couple of days. A worthy find! Cheers, GC.
This one took a little while, though it was realtivly out in the open it still took a little while to make the grab.
Thanks us04 for another, and showing us this great area.

Out cruising along the otago peninsula caching for the day post MEGA. It was our final day of our Dunedin trip and the weather really turned it on for us! We had sun, rain, hail and snow! Just like our first day here! Awesome!!
A nice spot if the weather was a bit nicer toady. TFTC

Out caching this coast today. Stopped in, signed log. Watched coast guard practise there moves in this rough weather. Beautiful wee bay.
Found after we PAF`d a fellow cacher, then returned the favour when we got PAF`d by another cacher on this one. TFTC
Another neat little find as we headed out towards the peninsula and the lighthouse. A wet day on our tour, but we manged to make the find. The lighthosue ended up being out of reach which was a little disappointing, but the drive was still worth it.
Found with ZsaZsa7, Winglen, fitzy_1965 and Rextrex (local NZer) on our trip around the South Is after attending the New Zealand Mega. We managed to grab a few caches on travels and this was just one of them.
Thanks for this one, another one to the tally.

A pleasant little location beside the water, where we met up with Richary and Anna while searching. Sun still shining but windy. Thanks us04.
Found during 'The Gangsters' trip to New Zealand, being Big Matt, The Rats, steeba and myself.
This was a bit of a scramble until we locked in on the right spot.

We were joined by Team richary for this search - the find was eventually made after a good fossick around. Thanks us04.

A very brief search as running short on time....was not sure GPS had us in correct position, near miss of ending up in the drink.
Our 6423rd overall find.
Found on the "Gangsters" NZ Mega 2012 trip with steeba, The Rats and Farmer Frentzen. A nice little find on the water today. As we searched for the cache a little boat was doing loops out in front of us.

Brrr very wet day down the bay today! Arrived just as some other cachers were leaving.
Decided on a caching day up the Otago Peninsula today after the mega event. I wasn't planning on doing every cache possible today as we were also sightseeing, but came around the corner to find a group stopped so we joined in the fun. Found after a short search by one of the temporary team. Thanks us04.
Found it in the car of another cacher as they tried to keep out of the rain while they signed the log. Found with highrod. TFTC
Going caching in New Zealand. Heading to MEGA this weekend. So many caches! We like the nice weather if there is one. Thanks for the great adventure.
This one definitly took some time, plenty of muggles around but my caching companions were persistent and eventually had the cache in hand. A clever cache that blends in well. TFTC
In town for the NZ Mega 2012. Spent the day on a caching run with Karma Reprint and Kiwi_Moose. With 3 of us looking we soon got the angle to spy the wee blighter, nicely done. Cheers. A great spot.
A days caching at the 2012 Dunedin Mega, with the Lincoln lads, Kiwi Moose and Team Gaters Thanks for the hide.
Found on a mega caching run, muggled some fellow cachers here, but the log was soon shared around...Thanks for the cache!
Out on a MEGA caching run with Karma Reprint and Team Gators. Yeah, nasty. Spent a while all three of us climbing and clambering until TG spotted it. TNLN Thanks

1630, GAFF3, Found in the company of Pprass and Browngang whilst out and about in Dunedin.
We had to wait for the nearby muggles to look the other way to make the retrieve, the replacement was just as hard.

Found at 2:36 PM GAFF5 in the company of Browngang and Juddda. I think the group is becoming a tad tired as it took us a while to find this cache which would normally take us a few moments. These items look very natural indeed.

After spending the morning caching around the inner city of Dunedin with Roostaman, we headed away from the chaos of traffic and muggles for the solitude of some scenic countryside caches. The rain was still falling so luckily we jumped out of the car as quick as we could and soon located the cache.

Found on Mega trip to Dunedin. In the company of FMZ, Rosmar, and Indiana Jill. TFTC
We were about to give up when the owner arrived with a replacement cache. What perfect timing. After eating lunch at the cafe 'The Bay' we headed back to the car only to meet a local cacher who advised us of some good caches to pick up on our trip.
Nice quick find here, in this lovely spot, before retiring to the cafe across the road for a well deserved lunch. Found with IndianaJill, rosmar and 10centcoin. TFTC!!!
How lucky were we today! The CO arrived to replace the missing container just as we'd finished searching, thus saving us from a DNF here . Thanks! It was a lovely spot, with a steam train chuffing past on other side of the water, tame seagulls that wouldn't shift even when you walked right up to them and little boats zipping all around. After lunch at The Bay (we recommend the pizzas), we met up with Kiwi Geo Swami, too. TFTC, us04. =^.^=
Found with pprass and Juddda, out to the Peninsular for the day. Thanks for the cache.
Cheers from Browngang.

We were in Dunedin for the NZ Mega event and we were out and about finding caches in the company of Funkymunkyzone, 10centcoin and IndianaJill. After a quick search found the nice little hide. This was an opportune time to enjoy a lovely lunch in the cafe across the road. TFTC.
Grabbed it..... Glad it's not raining today. Cheers for cache..... Across to the cafe now.... W/FMZ, 10cc, ROSMAR....
Looked for this before and couldn't find it. Found it today with the great assistance of some Mega cachers.
After staying the night at Lanarch's Castle, I spent the day travelling around this lovely area as I work my way towards Dunedin for the NZ Mega in Dunedin...
Grabbed this cache whilst travelling & taking in the fantastic views around the area... What a beautiful country to photograph & explore... This one took a while but got it in the end...
Thanks For The Cache Cus04

A very familiar spot, last visit was well over two years ago and I spent a lot of time looking with no success. A fairly quick find today however, and one of those ones you go away thinking, 'how the heck did I miss that last time?'
Great spot, TFTC

The rain was torrential, but after a day of caching in it, I wasn't as afraid as the muggles. So I had a clear run at this one with noone watching. After a short time, worked out what I thought the hint object was, but still came up the goose egg on finding the cache
Out with the Richards Tribe last night getting a few of the local caches with them and unfortunately when we found this one it was drenched. Water poured out of the cache and the log was very damp. Richards Tribe were able to log but may need new log and new dry bag. TFTC it is a really great one and had them stumped for a long time.
Starting to lose track of how many times I didn't find this one. Although the other times I came there hadn't been a spoiler available.
Three of us searched for maybe 15 minutes, but no luck. I will be back!

Yay I found this one, the odds weren't looking good either. Good hide and nice cache container. MIss 10 said she's seen them in the pet shop. TFTC
Nearly gave up but GEO mum Dakotacats, ( daughter ) stumbled onto it ! That is what I say... she has a different opinion ! TFTC
Looks like we are going to have a few visits coming up for us here as well... We'll be back.
