As there's been either no response from the cache owner, no cache to find or log to sign, or it's been a number of months since the last owner note. I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace/make available the cache sometime in the near future (next 30 days), just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the current guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it. Should you replace the cache after 30 days has passed please create a new cache listing so it can be reviewed as a new cache.
It sound like this cache requires maintenance. Unfortunately I have moved to Perth and are unable to repair it. Can anyone take over this cache please?
Well - I needed to walk through swam and log grass to get to this one! Am now soaking! Which reminds me - the log is soaking! Thanks D69.
Spent 5 mins searching before we decided it is not safe in thongs on a hot day to keep looking.
The log book is scummy and impossible to write on. It took me about 20 mins to find, and I placed it in a slightly more user friendly position at the same coordinates. Happy hunting.
Spent about 15 mins looking but was very aware that bare feet may not be such a great idea on a hot day in early spring so cut our losses (and hands) and called it quits
Bugger! Dived under many a grassy arch but came up with zip. Maybe next time...
As other cachers have said the Cache absolutely drenched needs log book replacement ASAP.
Headed out here on a windy and sunny day. We got within 8m of the cache coordinates but could not see a way through without damaging the native plants so we decided to give it a miss. Thanks anyway.
Another great find while touring around from cache to cache.

We walked around for a while trying to dodge the water everywhere, we've had a lot of rain recently and the area was a bit like wetland, complete with birds, lovely.
I took some dry paper and a pencil in a plastic bag to leave as I had read that the cache log was soaked.
Hubby found it! All good and continuing on our Beecroft Headland treasure hunt.

I was relieved to find this one quickly - could have got cut very easily!
As per previous log, log book is soaked unfortunately

This is an interesting place for. Cache! The log was waterlogged. TFTC SL. Down on the seashore there are some good fossils in the rock of Kinghorn Point
Found it with WEEO just before we gave up. Not much to look at here but we found fossils at the beach and a doggie to pat. The log was saturated but we were out of time to dry it out. Might need a bit of maintenance, TFTC.
Log book is completely saturated, needs a new one (sorry, I didn't have my spare today).
No luck finding this one. It's like finding a needle in a haystack, except the haystack is razor blades. Gave up after getting scratched too much.
Planned to find at least 6 GCs today however nearby Red is now on private property and Beecoft range has been closed to the general public. Thankfully found this one to add to my tiny tally. A handful of beach fishermen enjoying a nice catch of tailor! TFTC.
Yes. Got scratches and insect bites and roughing it but then I found it I let my feet do the kicking and then.... That wonderful hollow sound. My old surfing ground back in the 70's. tftc. Another wonderful south coast location
Thanks for taking me back to my teens and the places we used to visit when surfing. TFTC JenneG & Budgy
Brilliant Summers day, gentle ocean breeze, on our way back to camp. Went a very roundabout way to get to GZ but wife spotted it in her kind of terrain. Came here often when young. Good fishing and surfing. There used to be camping here, without any facilities, but not any more.
Took a bit of hunting but we found it in the end. We then enjoyed a nice stroll along the beach.
Thanks,

Did a lot of kicking and even kicked the bucket. But finally Donna came up with the prize.

Very wet ground in the area today. Looked around, but no luck for us on this day. Thanks anyway.
Walking through the slosh and puddles I was really hoping we wern't going back empty handed. Snake heaven, today was cool and none sighted. TNSL TFTC
Both GPSs said we were at GZ. Hubby kicked the bucket (a blue one) but no sign of the cache (lots of overgrown snakey grass and scrub though). Not a waste as it took us to a lovely part of the coast.
The drive in was a little rough and it took a while to find this. Was just about to give up when I kicked the cache with my foot! TFTC
Thankfully a cool day, so the chances of snakes was low. Just how I like it! Found it after a bit of poking around.

Beautiful part of the coast ! Some big waves out there today & some very brave surfers. This area is used by local hoons after rain . . .

Found this one but had to walk throught a mud paddock as there had been hoons who had been doing donuts and had to pick your way across to the hide. TFTC
Got the car park slowly, then ended up trekking in the long grass, following other trails to GZ! Found after a few minutes searching, then found the easy track back!! X'D.. its always the way! =) Thanks for the cache!
Found this at the end of a long day caching and the almost on sunset views were amazing. There were a couple of fishermen on the point and we found some amazing fossils on the rock platform, a type of which I have never seen before. Really cool. The cache took us a while to find but we managed it - its always in the last place you look! TFTC
With a small caching group consisting of Woody figtree, woodyson, sapling, tadpole7 and myself we attempted this cache. After a short search amongst the bush I came up with the find. Thanks for a neat cache in a great spot. Left an Olympic pin.
Did this cache with woodyson, woody figtree, sapling, and toadmister7. After walking through through the bush toadmister came up with the find. TFTC!
Took a few minutes with Toadmeister7 and co to find this one. The clue did not make sense but got there in the end. The coords were pretty close. Thanks. Was a bit wet underfoot today.
Visiting from Canberra, back to where I grew up. Dad always used to fish here and it was our family outing. It took me a long time to find. I moved it a little to where my GPS was pointing and to make it a little more obvious.
This seems to be an unofficial camp area or one thats only here for a few days between xmas and new year. Car tracks and rubbish everywhere. Long grass and spiderwebs hampered the search but found it eventually. Noticed in the log that parks officers doing weed patrol had found and signed the log. . Nice shells on the beach too.
Went for a quick look around ealy on Christmas day. Nobody about. Took some looking so much grass! TN left a Critter. TFTC
Just another place we have never visited before that was worth the drive out. With a little bit of common sense we avoided all the water. Great place to visit and a good hide to go with it. TFTC SL TNLN
Spent over an hour on this one second time around. Had given up and was on my way when there it was. Sure I looked there before.

Nice area with good views at the sea. But not today, after quit some rain over the last coupke of weeks everything was under water so my feet got soaking he cache itself was safe and tricky hidden.

The foliage nearby was a bit spiky, but the cache was soon found with the help of the hint. There would be plenty of places it could have been though. Log only. Enjoyed the point and the cache hunt.
Although we have fished this point many time from a boat this was the first time we have came in by road. It looks completely different looking out to see than what we are used to.
The youngest member of the team made the find and remarked "Why don't you trust it when it says wher GZ is?"
With that said we found the coords spot on.
Thanks dpf1969 for the adventure.

Went looking for this with Rick. We found what we suspect were the arches, but failed to find the cache. Shorts and t-shirt weren't exactly the best attire for searching for this one!
Great surf at Windy and Currarong and too rough for fishermen so it was a very quiet place today. Only roos guarding the cache. Good location for spotting Aussie jumpers ..recommend visit early morning, late afternoon or on a cool day.

We looked all over for this one with out much luck and from reading the logs from others kepted wondering if in right spot so tried several approaches only to end up where started so before giving up a phone a friend option was used to which a hint was given and the cache very quickly in hand tftc
Found this one on the way back to sydney very hot & worried about snakes! Kinghorn Pt is very nice - saw some weird things embedded in the rock. They look like screws but must be ancient!. Took TB left 2 dollars anyway thank you for the cache.
Been here several times in the past week while staying at Currarong but didn't know there was a cache here.
Now I do and I looked and looked but only tentatively, in thongs and t shirt it is not a good place to be.
Will be back with whacking stick for spiders and gloves for those spikey plants, the same ones that hammered me at Culburra and took a week to get the needle out of my fingers.
Hope it is not in there.
Thanks for the hunt I will get it next time! [B)]

After an early morning trip to the greenwell point markets we thought we would cross another couple of local caches off the list that we haven't got around to finding.
Was a bit concerned that the access road to the cache might be a bit wet given all the rain we have had lately and judging by the amount of water by the side of curranong rd there obviously was a bit last night. But the track in was solid and no problems at all.
Nice walk and and the cache was easily located. Slight bit of drizzle whilst we were there and didn't see any creatures at all.

What a great afternoon of caching. 3 newish caches to the east of town, so it was out to investigate. As it turned out, they were in 3 places (all virtually in my backyard) that I hadn't been before. A note for future cachers - the direct route from the carpark to the cache would take you through a grassy/tussocky (and in places swampy) area of the type that don't recover from being trampled. The cache is not in this area, so be nice to the environment and go around the slightly longer way.
I discovered that I was following the path of KLE who had been to this one earlier in the day. TNLN. Thanks dpf1969 for bringing me to a part of my local area that I hadn't been to.

Was introduced to geocaching earlier this week by visiting Kinghorne Point. Mum found this cache and she was so excited... screamed like a teenage girl. Took friends back to this cache to introduce them to geocaching! Took tigger TB so he can explore the Blue Mountains. Will find him a new home to bounce into.
Found it within 15 seconds on our second attempt. Yep it is easy

Best searched for on hands and knees. Watch for Orb Weavers during summer. Not a place to go barefoot.
On my way to Currarong to add a Trig so this one was a bonus. Took a little while to find but got it in the end. Left a piece of unakite & a coin then had a look at the view. Much cooler today especially close to the sea. Thanks.
Been a while since we got a FTF so I decided to head out and see if we could get this one.
After a short search we were greeted with a empty log.Woohoo.
Left Mega Event Micro Geocoin.

A quick and easy find at yet another shoalhaven landmark I had never visited before. Got to GZ, waited for a couple of minutes to allow the gizmo to setlle, and checked out a few likely spots while I waited, and discovered the cache! I had read of the Pirates attempt, and thought I might have been an outside chance of a FTF, but not to be, with the Handles6 staking their claim. Thanks dpf1969 for the cache

No logs against this one when I left work today, so thought I had a chance for FTF. Got a 3rd TF though, and I'm happy with that! Probably passed Lucy & Roo on the way in!
It was nice to revisit this part of the coast - haven't been here for about 20 years.
Didn't see any crawling or slithering nasties, but certainly needed the Rid for the flying ones!
Thanks dpf1969 for this cache.

Not a good way to start the New Year looked in what we thought were all the right places…………
WRONG!!
Thankfully we found some others to make the day worth while
PS bring your own whacking stick and beware of spiders in the early morning. However this could be all hog wash, as we were unsuccessful
