Have tried to find this cache 3 times and came away with out finding this. Did spend 30 minutes trying to find it. GPS put us in the middle of the carpark. Yes need to get this looked at!!!! I see that "Shankskids" have found it but he had found it some time ago, so he knows where it is.
This one had been in my database for a long time so finally I had the opportunity for a look today. Unfortunately for me Sargeant Dan seemed to be away on an exercise!
Thanks

Sergeant Dan appears not to be ease. Might be worth checking out and asking the last finder of the cache given there is many that haven't.
Not convinced after yesterday's effort spent a good 30mins searching for this one and once again came up without the cache. Think it has vamoooosed!
gps took us to same place as last loggers . looked all what we thought were obvious places to hide cache . But maybe we were over thinking it not sure . Love to know if it is still there or not as would like to go back and have another look if it is . thanks for cache
No luck with this one. GPS took us in a parking area beside a train line. Saw the seating area and checked the obvious. Thanks for showing us St Dan
An easy find, and so nice to find a regular container. As organised by Cumbyrocks, replaced logbook and added some more swaps. It's good that the locals have adopted the cache! Can confirm that the World Marble TB is missing.
These two old farts from Canada, are enjoying a geocaching bus tour through your beautiful country. TFTC
We took the Globe TB and had 5 other TB's drop in for a visit.

Cache full of water, log book soaked and needs to be replaced. Couldn't sign log but TFTC anyway
tfth. found on a bus trip around NZ from W Aust. It was VERY wet and full of water. Couldn't write properly in the wet book. (but that was about 20 days ago as I am writing now on feb 28, so it may be fixed now.)
This was a laugh.
I had a Sargeant Dan story book as a kid. Completely unabashed advertising really.
Started to walk to where the GPS was pointing and realised that there were working muggles in the window.
Began to back track and then realsied that they knew exactly what I was up to and were all ready to point me in the right direction.
Found the cache - full of water. Log needs drying out.
The helpful muggle replaced the broken plastic bag and then told me about the cache creep that had happened and showed me where the cache had originally been placed.

Found this but the cache was open and log book out and soaking wet so we werent able to write a log.
This will need maintenance.
Thanks Ashsal

This was a very tricky one, especially with lots of muggles around. Had to come back later and even then found it a challenge. Left TB
5918 At ease Sergeant Dan! The coords were out but we managed to find it in a logical spot. Was not keen on Creamota Porridge but nice to learn about its history here.

Harder putting it back as people turned up. But all good in the end. Tftc
Found after investigating a couple of possible spots, the coordinates are some distance from the actual cache site and put you in the middle of an open area. But there weren't too many alternatives so the find was still fairly quick. Signed log, TFTC!
Nice easy find, made this one last cache for the day on trip home from Cromwell. Alot of history can be seen in these old buildings. TFTC
Puzzled by the placement of this hide as it wasn’t actually in view of the thing in question, and was a little too near a building for our liking, when there were other (in our mind) better locations that do give a view of the oatmeal man. PB grabbed the cache, and was thankful it was a holiday day otherwise would have felt even more dodgy than he already did!! TNLN TFTC
Had to visit another cache in Mrs Guzzi's home town. An easy find for junior Guzzi on our round trip from Cromwell to Invercargill and back.
"Sergeant Dan" always evokes memories of Forrest Gump these days for me! Again, good to see a regular cache size! TFTC,

Found it this time with the help of my son and his friend, takes a bit of stealth! TFTC
Our second find in Gore. Fortunately a quiet day, and a fairly logical location for the cache, so it was quite easy to pick up without being seen.
Thanks for the little history on Sargeant Dan.

A bit dodgy on a busy business day.
Managed to recover, log and replace it all the same. TFTC

Found by daughter's friend who was quite funny to watch trying to be stealthy. Took the GC.

Logical place to look but had to look quite innocent as a few people around. Kids asking questions, "What do they make?" and had to explain about porridge etc.
3/6 for today. A good sized container so big ups! Many a time I have passes by here while it was operating. My grandad used to get bags of floor sweepings for my rabbit here. But I don't remember the days of Dan in ads.... My wife is directly related to the Fleming founders.
Only est 1919 but must be a suitable place for the COs historic places Trackable.
Tftc!!

Looked in the most obvious places but to no avail...lots of kids in the skate park so couldn't do a more detailed search.....maybe it has been muggled!!
Found on a trip from Invercargill home to Dunedin. Papa remembers Creamota and Sergeant Dan. Quick find as were able to park directly in front of cache. Thanks for the cache!!
YAY! We found it! Still without GPS so had to cheat a little - one of the chicks asked. Huge excitement from small chicks - 2 trackable items in there! Swapped what we had collected from Geo's playtime. Now holding onto the Li-Z's music coin and 5 Happy Camper's TB until we can find two suitable places to take them. Going to split them up this time
What a great holiday activity!

In town for the Gold guitar awards
Nice find and place 2 TB's from the North Island

A straightforward find, although we wondered if we were being watched by people inside. It was Gold Guitar weekend in Gore, and we were serenaded by someone singing Country Road as we looked for the cache. TFTC
Found logical place but went away as we weren't sure if the people in the building knew about it or not. Came back after we cellebrated our wedding anniversary with a nice dinner at a near by restaurant. Find was easy with the use of the car's head lights. Took a few photos on the first visit, very interesting spot.
1515hrs Fun cache hide.Dropped off TB: OCHQQQ 'Butterflies and Bees'. The Italian Job was here......! Our blog www.motorhominginxs.blogspot.com
Last one for the day on the way home after a over night tramp on the kepler with the kids during the easter break.TFTC
A nice quick find. Was worried about the teenage muggles, but they were just far enough away. Thanks!
I was glad when I circled the building and found that GZ was hidden from the 'Muggle Park'! Only just though. TFTC

Sgt. Dan is a classic, evoked memories of childhood breakfasts.

Sgt. Dan was standing in the bright sunshine this afternoon. Can still remember the old Dan's creamoato days. TFTC
Needed a hot plate of porridge just to get out of car, and its only March!! Very helpful T.V. repair man knew just what we were up to.....

Had to wait for a few young muggles before going to the logical place. TFC
Found after looking for the most logical place. Took the Buzz Travel Bug and left TB 'The Man in Black'. TFTC
At last! A cache large enough to drop off the Buzz travelbug, interesting part of the town.
Quick find tonight. It was Grand Central earlier today, so I left it and went back in the evening with a lookout. TFTC.
A quick find on the way home from the Moonshine Mountain Bike race. Had a wee wait for muggles but then realised that they were Feet First on the same mission.
Darn it, we hadn't noticed this cache had been published while we were touring thru Otago and Southland, else we would have picked it up as well.
Found easily even though my nexus one was only accurate to get me within 10m. Must get me a proper GPS device. Tnln.
