Sorry folks. The Bus stop has been removed and there is no prospect af a replacement.
Since we were in the area we thought we'd check out the highland cattle but they were long gone, and so was the seat and shelter as well!!
No way a bus could drive to GZ as there was a temporary electric fence and some fierce looking highland? cattle blocking access. I've already had one run in with an electric fence and had no desire to repeat the experience, plus those horns were HUGE!
Next time?
Next time?
With the temporary electric fence we got no closer than about 40m to GZ. Was sorely tempted to try to retrieve the cache (as we have done all the others in this area), but decided in the end that it was not a good idea to disturb the 10 or so highland cattle inside the fence.

3369. Good to see that the rural children are being looked after by having a shelter to use while waiting for the bus. It must have been needed often this winter!
Thanks

Wasn't sure whether I should go inside or not - that question in my mind was answered before long Cheers Gav [6349]
A nice spot to wait for the bus today. Dont know if it would be so good on a cold wet winters morning. TFTC
(96) 3rd for the evening and its getting dark real quick.. Nice easy find nice outlook for a bus stop.. SL TFTC
Who else than other cachers would stop as this bus stop on a Sunday? So we had to queue before we could do our record.
Nice area. One of the most interesting bus stops I have seen. TFTC (Cache Trip 4/8)
Trailing around behind BaldEd it seems.Raced down the road to beat the School bus that we saw back on the main road.Friends have something similar for their kiddies BUT their one is Covered.Still it is a neat little seat.TFTC
This morning being Tsunami morning I thought it might be a good time to do some inland caching whilst the Tsunami washes away.First stop was at the Bus Stop. Quick find with a very handy seat nearby.
More cachers than buses have stopped here over the last few days judging by the logbook. TFTC
Used to walk ten miles in the snow with bare feet to school each day and it was uphill both ways.
FTF stolen almost from under the nose of the locals!!!!! LOL Sorry Wotefas. Our FTF was entirely accidental, and Annie did a double take when she saw an empty log!
Much appreciated all the same. TNLN TFTC
