So much water has swept through here, the cache and surronds are completely soaked, made some form of scratching on the log ( without destroying it and tramped back out through the mud. TFTC
Very sneaky was a bit off from the coordinates but we got it , as others said was very wet so we just took a photo
Very pretty spot. Unfortunately the water has gotten into the cache, the notepad is moldy
Could be missing, may have just missed it, hard to know given lack of description and hint.
We thought it had gone missing but then we found it. Needs some maintenance. Very wet. Clever hide. TFTC
Teamed up with CorianderConnected during the school holidays with 2 kids in the back, as one was MIA recovering from injury, and squeezed in the 2 Geodogs (Minks & Poppy) as well. It was an awesome day that we had been looking forward to for months. We headed out to the Gisborne area to find traditional caches as well as a multi possibly. Fish n chips for lunch, bush tracks, racing from spot to spot, and glorious sunshine made it a great day.
Mrs Boomajarril found it as we were to busy on the flying fox at 12:45pm. Log book is saturated.

TFTC very clever hide. For those of us who are newbies a hint would be good. We found due to a similar closer cache
Chasing tree climbs in the area, we had to abort due to the inclement weather. So a few trads were sought after as we made our way back to Ballarat in the company of wozzle68. We made our way through the long wet grass to find a very cleverly hidden cache as well as a goat tied up at the nearby property.
Thanks for sharing your memories, its a pity this lovely area hasn't been looked after recently.

In the area today with The_Tritonz and this one crossed our path and we had to convert to a smiley. Thanks for the hide
Way to hard without a hint.. your basically looking into it blind.. ever over grown aswell..
What time do you leave home when you are heading to Mt Macedon for a night cache? 1 pm of course, there are always plenty of caches to be found on the way so you need the 8 hours to make the 1 hour drive .
It was a bit of bush bashing along the side of the creek before we finally came across a track that brought us close to GZ. all three of our GPS' were doing circles eventually Neville_devil spotted something that didn't belong and bingo we had our prize in hand.
Thank you kw46 for the hide

Out to grab a few more caches before the end of 2018 with Simsfamily and Neville Devil.
We made our way to Mt Macedon grabbing a variety of caches on route.
Wow this place has seen better days as we weren't game to enter the parking area in the vehicle due to the long grass, so we pulled of the road a little and continued on foot taking the scenic route until making our way along the freshly mown track. The GPSr had us back and forth until the hide was located. Log book was damp but thankfully we had write anywhere pens for just this situation.
Log signed and replaced as found.
Thanks for the Cache KW46

Found by Aussie Train Driver 26/10/2018, find number 1363.
I had a free afternoon today and took the opportunity to hunt down a few caches in the Gisborne/Bullengarook area. This was the first find for the day. After parking the car at the picnic area I followed the geo-trail and soon discovered a larger mown track following the creek - I suspect the nearby home owner keeps this track clear as it leads to their back gate.
At GZ I was distracted by the tree but after expanding my search I soon found the cache. Unfortunately the log book is soaking wet and moldy so I couldn't sign. Thanks for the cache, I would never have known about the great little picnic area if it wasn't here!

Tftc. Pleasant walk collecting some smilies today. There is no trackable in the cache. Also logbook and cache is wet. I emptied the water out but didnt have a log.

Thanks for bringing me to this green, restful place. There's water in the cache. Everything is wet.
This is a great find, love the walk a bit tricky to walk through the bushes for some. The lid was creative.
[:(!] Thanks for an awesome effort.

A lovely spot to stretch the legs here. Approached gz with caution, the combination of long grass, water and thongs was not the most sensible idea. Had a bit of a scratch around with no luck. Then I spied something that drove me straight to it, BINGO !! Thanks for showing us this beautiful little spot. TFTC kw46
A quick and easy find as we cache our way through the area today. Thanks for bringing us here and thanks for the cache.
Rough terrain to cross. Had to go past some squatters camping in the bush. Great camo. TFTC

In the area to do some work and decided to go for a quick walk at lunch time.
A nice wander through the scrub today. Nice hide.

Lucky for me I was dressed for the occasion. Long pants and long gaiters. It was 37 degrees and walking near a creek in long grass is asking to step on a wriggly stick. I tread loudly and carefully. Reading previous posts the cache was found quickly. Excellent camo, Lucky for me I have seen this before. The cache was about 5m west of the given co-ords. I took a reading with my GPS S 37 28.399 E 144 31.659. Thanks kw46. TFTC.
Nice cache in a beautiful spot. The log is wet and I tipped out a lot of water. It needs a new ziplock bag but I didn't have time to replace it.
We were visiting Gisborne for the week and managed to find a little time to take our grand daughter Cucumber Kid out to a few caches here...
found this cache high and dry and in good order, after almost walking into a low branch lol.

Our last cache for the day. A very well constructed cache. Container is getting a bit of moisture in it though. Took out a soap which was getting a bit soggy. Quite overgrown but found our way reasonably easily. Kids overlooked the clever hide, but having seen something similar I figured it would be what we were looking for. TFTC
came up to Gisborne today with vacachin to grab a few caches... really liked the cache camoflage

4:23:00 PM. A bit of a bush bash to this one. The Terrain rating really needs looking at. But we got there and found the clever cache. Log signed. Worth a favourite point from us. Thanks kw46 for placing this cache.
I wandered over from the parking area. Not finding it where my Garmin led me, I expanded the search and soon spotted the well constructed hide. My Garmin had GZ at: S 37° 28.397 E 144° 31.659. The neat hide deserves a favourite. TFTC kw46.

A nice easy find after a stroll from the carpark. Getting somewhat overgrown so we had to make out own tracks.
Took nothing, left nothing.

We have driven past this spot countless times. With time on our side we stopped by today - what a delightful little retreat, particularly at this time of day. Once at GZ we searched unsuccessfully, in what we thought would be likely hiding spots. Thanks to a couple of very helpful logs we extended our searching in a more south westerly direction and soon noticed something familiar and a little out of context. Everything is dry and in good condition.
Satellites today had our GZ 6m NW of where we found the cache.
Our thanks to kw46 for bringing us here.

Was a bit of a trek in with ljthrilla to find this one, but got there, and must say the cache was particularly well made, and fit into the environment beautifully. TNLN SL TFTC
Great little trek in the bush a peaceful spot with baby honey eaters hopping through the low grasses. TFTC TNLNSL
Heard the kookaburras, disturbed some ducks. Read comments further down the list for some good tips that eventually led us to what we were looking for! Thanks!!
Travelling around Australia and we are currently staying in Woodend.
So many jobs to tackle whilst here, finally it was lunch time but we had our stuff together to head on to Gisborne to find a few caches.
What a great afternoon some awesome spots and some great caches to boot.
Home after dark but that's what it's all about.

Once we saw someone had found this a few days ago we had to come back to put this one to rest. Dad was on his game today and found it no problem. What a rippa! TFTC
Found it with the Blissful Pirate! Tried finding this one many years ago and finally returned to find it. Nice one! TFTC
2nd try at this one. Had my hand on the hide the first time. Brilliant hide, a fav point from me.
My second visit here and back to my old hometown. Again nearly a dnf, however read a log about cords out and needing to be more South west and soon spotted the clever hide! Tftc today
An easy find on a lovely Saturday drive enjoyed the walk to GZ even though we scared a wallaby resting in the bushes I don't know who got the bigger fright us or the wallaby. This is a lovely spot TFTC
Made the most of the fine weather and went out on a caching run with BJ. Happy to say we had DNF free day TN, left a pathtag. TFTC kw46
Suscoe's 5th find from 38 caches today as we headed around the Gisbourne area with our good friend Bushfire.
It was a cool day with quite a bit of cloud cover and a steady cool breeze keeping the temperature in the mid to low teens.
The sprinkle of rain from Thursday had disappeared and all was good as we headed around the local roads.
After reading some previous logs we were not sure what we would find here but we certainly encountered no issues with long grass at all.
An easy walk to GZ and after a little backtracking we found the well constructed hide about 8 metres to the south west today from where the GPS wanted it to be.
Thanks to kw46 for showing us this area, sad to say there was quite a bit of rubbish dumped nearby.

Bushfire and the suscoe cachers decided to venture up to this part of the state and put a few more smilies on the map as we have had a number of mysteries worked out for far too long plus there are a number of multi's to test us out as well.
Leaving Geelong early with breakfast at Bacchus Marsh and then it was out to the Lerderderg State Park and this was my 3rd find for the day. We had a great day finding four mysteries, seven multi's and the rest traditionals and the most important thing was no DNF's.
After the little bit of rain the bush smelt terrific and the well constructed cache was soon found ,signed and we were off on our way. Thanks kw46 for placing this cache out here but we thought we were a little off with our co-ords but as we don't worry about the wildlife too much we really enjoyed our walk into this area.

Not at all comfortable walking out here, in long grass & no track to follow. After getting all the way out here on this warm day, we were not going home with out a smiley. It took some searching but eventually our little 11yo sniffer dog, son came up with the goods. Please to get back on open ground. TFTC kw46.
Unfortunately a did not find. terrifying walk on this hot day (snakes!). Gps bought me to likely gz but no find.
This is a nice bit of bush and the kookaburras laughed at me all the way. The cache has been very wet and I removed the rusty items. TFTC kw46
I came looking for this one about 6 months ago but had to give up due to lack of daylight. I circled what I thought was GZ back then and did the same today.
I stepped back and thought what am I missing.... BINGO
I grabbed the cache from its spot and emptied out a bit of festy water from the cache container. Signed the slighty damp log and returned it all as I found it.
What a great hide!!! Saw a few big grass hoppers in the vicinity of GZ too.

A work trip to Gisborne at the last minute today meant a few caches were found on the way home.
Thanks to all the hioders for some cool spots in the beautiful bush around here.
The winter certainly brings out all the smells of the bush which are great.
A nice find here, thanks for placing the cache, after finding the previous incarnation of this one spotted it quickly.

I followed the gps to the obvious spot but there was nothing there. It was only when I put the gps away and used my eyes that I found it pretty easily. Only because I'd seen caches hidden that way before. No way would I have gotten that when I first started! I hung the TB over a branch while I filled in the log, replaced, then walked back to the car. It was only after I'd driven off I realised the TB was still hanging over the branch! Back I went again. Lucky it wasn't too far to walk back.... TFTC kw46
Awesome place for a hide. Another great example of geo caching taking us to places we never would have gone to. Previous log notes helped us here - smart smart hide, not quite on GZ. Took nothing, left silica gel as log is damp. Let TB. Saw kookie and roo on nice day. Thanks for the effort gone into this cache! Much appreciated!
An early morning stroll along the confused trails in the long grass brought me to where my GPS thought GZ should be, but after checking that area out unsuccessfully widened both my thinking and my search area and soon found the clever hide about 10 metres away. TFTC kw46
The park here seems all but forgotten [:o]
I wandered the overgrown trails through the tall grass and prickles to find GZ.
OK, I'm here !!
Where are you ?
Only a short scan of the area revealed a very likely hiding place
Gotcha [^]
Funny how sometimes the most devious, evil, twisted hides are so obvious.... if you're mind is in the right mood [:o]
A previous cache had alerted me to the sneakiness of local cache hiders

I'm sorry to see the few DNFs for this cache, it was a bit tough to get through the long grass and sunken creek bed from the carpark to this cache. Then I spent maybe 10 or 15 minutes looking around, trying to pick out a container and finding nothing nearby to where my GPS pointed. Eventually I spanned out and noticed the hide. Well done and it's very isolated from any potential muggle activity.
Found 16:00, after a brief search, in the company of Muzza.

Found on a Sunday of eating and geocaching in Gisborne with OLDWINEBOTTLE, ST37E, S 4 Sammy, highrod, Kinkell1 and snaphappy. Car park was full of locals having a working bee so we parked up the road & walked down to it. TFTH!
Our first find, on a caching day out with Highrod, Snaphappy1, ST37E, S 4 Sammy, 42Below and OldWineBottle. The car park was full, that part of it that could be used without getting bogged. A working party were there, so we headed back up the road and attacked this one from above. A scramble down the slope and the cache was soon in hand TFTC
