Looked in the most obvious spots around GZ for over 30mins without success.
Drained the battery on the i-phone completely!!
All we found were a couple of homemade "smoking instruments" and a couple of empty beer bottles.
may need a quick check, Ian, as could have been muggled??

Ian and Penny, clever cache. Last of my finds today as it's time to grab a quick bite to eat then off to pick up the rug rats. TFTC
had a look right in and around trees surrounding co-ords, didnt find anything. possible muggle interference??
Never mind!!! Good look next day. Cache found. Love the camo, very hard to spot!!

Spent 20 minutes at GZ looking for this one, with no luck. I was looking for something creative, but not today for me. I'll be watching this one.
RDO! Beaut day for caching.
Hmm... Once before, somewhere near water, I saw something similar
The Riddeller [?]
on returning for our second go at this one, we found this clever cache by thinking outside the box, we had previously looked around this spot four other times. tftc ian and penny.
Replaced the log, and changed the "style" of the cache.
I have a theory that the missing logs and the previous disappearance of the entire cache have been caused by a couple of local kids. (A couple on bikes showed a lot ot of interest from a distance, and tried to disguise their interest.)

Nice stroll to gz and a quick and easy find. Thanks to ian-and-penny for the cache.

My second go at this one as the first time I didn't have the updated coords. No such problem today and it was a quick find thanks ian-and-penny.

On our way to gz a pelican crossed the path in front of us and had no intention of giving way as it waddled down towards the water. Very close to gz we were greeted by a few different varieties of ducks and we have to say two of the whitest ones we have ever seen. Unfortunately it was down hill from here, like others before us we searched the obvious places before reading some of the logs and expanding our search. Knowing that Ian & Penny's co-ords are always good this didn't give us a lot of places to look. After nearly half an hour we decided to ring them for a hint, unfortunately this didn't help either as it appears that the cache has gone awol.
Thanks Ian & Penny anyway for showing us this nice oasis

Had a "phone a friend" conversation with a disappointed cacher. This one may have walked.
The last of my brief afternoon's plod in Melton (for this time at least). After wandering along the Trail that courses the Creek and a 'ford' crossing, I came to a 'where did this delightful Lake come from' moment at GZ? I determined that this would be a good time to have a Coffee from the Thermos before searching for the Cache, when, as I unscrewed the Thermos lid, I had a, 'hullo what's this moment', and spotted the cleverly hidden Cache. It was a fine way to end the day's Caching before the plodtrip Home. Thanks to 'ian-and-penny' for a well disgused Cache and for the journey along the Creek and its attendant landscape. TQP
Sometimes it helps to just sit and ponder.
Bit of a maze to get to spot, but found easily enough
Cheers gordo

Dang those stupid machines that want you to park on the freeway. We ignored said stupid machine and made our way down the back streets to GZ where it was a nice short stroll to GZ.
At GZ we checked the obvious, then the less obvious, then we found the cache. Clever
Took nothing, left nothing.
Thanks ian-and-penny for this cache experience today. The ponds are quite full and loads of people fishing (not quite sure what they catch in here) and dogs and motorbikes all around. A nice place for a short relaxing stroll.
*Overall Experience: 3*

Took a couple of minutes to locate this cleverly hidden cache.
Obviously had to discount the usual places first, and then broaden the search.
I too have noticed this dam/lake with people around it, and wondered where it was, and how to get to it.
My thanks to Ian-and-Penny for showing me this spot, and for the cache, SL

it beat us this time 'round.. have some helping hints from Ian so hopefully next time!
I chose the shortest walk in and soon found myself at GZ. After checking the obvious structure without success, I spied something that turned out to be the cache. Thanks for the cache.
Found by Mary & David at 1000. Where has the time gone? 11 Days since our last cache! We're correcting that by doing a few on the way to the Event at Ballan. Parked about 150m away and a gusty walk to a lovely location. Eventually spotted the container after bombing out at a couple of other spots. Happy New Year, and good luck with your resolution. Our thanks to Ian and Penny.
Found 9.30am
Starting to get real warm now but still enjoyed the long walk to the cache. Thought that some nearby people fishing might stop a good search but we were far enough away that they could not see what we were doing. Looked around the obvious structure before finding somethingh that look just hat little bit out of place.

Thanks Ian and Penny

I remember from caches gone by that this suburb is tricky to access and negotiate. In the end we were happy for a 150m walk in the growing heat.
Not many places to hide a micro here but there are a few and the spot on coords meant our search was concentrated in one area with eventual success.
Thanks Ian and Penny.

I thought a bit of exercise would be preferable to sitting in the car and this pretty area was quiet this morning.
I thought the cache would be hidden some place else but feathertop insisted no and he soon had it in hand.

Well done mate on your first FTF. Hey i've done 370 caches with only one FTF . . keep getting pipped at the post. Gotta be quick or in the right place at the right time.
FTF at 3.47pm.... WOW my first FTF after 66 caches. Had to wait for a couple of muggles that where nearly sitting on GZ. One on a minibike and the other reading a book. I stood about 5 or 6 metres away until they felt uncomfortable enough to move on (Well I didn't want to be there all afternoon in the heat.) Couple of fishermen across the other side of the lake. Glad to get back in the airconditioned car.... TFTC
