As this cache has been out of action for too long, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. I noticed that this cache has been in need of owner attention for a period of time well in excess of the period of "a few weeks" as contemplated by the cache guidelines published on Geocaching.com. While I feel that Geocaching.com should hold the location for you and block other caches from entering the area around this cache for a reasonable amount of time, we can't do so forever. Please either repair/replace this cache, or archive it (using the archive listing link in the upper right) so that someone else can place a cache in the area, and geocachers can once again enjoy visiting this location.
If you plan on repairing this cache, please log a note to the cache (not email) within the next 30 days so I don't archive the listing for non-communication.

Just adding to the long list of DNF's on this cache. shame as such a nice place that CO doesn't check.
Also had a look, but no joy. CO could we check please? I notice it's been some time since it was last found, surprised a maintenance flag hasn't already been dropped
sadly no luck finding it and from the previous logs of did not find it may have gone walkabout
Did not find. Spent a good 20 minutes looking around. Second non find of the day.
Passing by on way from Wellington to Auckland (with variations).
But no luck with this one, but may have missed some of the details in the description.

This cache was found as a part of 'SJCGeocamp', a group of year 10 students (and teachers) on a Geocaching camp. I had planned for us to do the Solar system cache series but the boys were tired and sore after me dragging the around a couple of other reserves and Rangitoto island so I had mercy on them and we decided to grab this park and grab and three other caches near the cemetery instead.
awesome Cache!!! we found it after some searching, was a bit challenging. Real fun thanks!
Another grand adventure with Gap (of Fap and Gap). We hope to rack up as many caches as we can, and put them toward our current GIO License Challenge. Today, we head to North-West Waikato to tackle some of the most isolated, far-flung caches I've ever seen. A big drive that will take us from Port Waikato to Raglan Harbour, and everywhere in between... And the weather is going to make this ride interesting.
An impressive river crossing that needs a good clean down and paint job to revitalise it. I was surprised to see how shallow the water was. TFTC.

First time to this area and couldn't resist stopping for this cache. Nicely tucked away

Stopped by to collect this one since we were in the area and I was the only one that had yet to collect this one. Thanks guys!
Wild and windy kind of day. Ducked in to find this on the way home from rugby. Followed the geo-track! Tftc.

Decided to take a drive into the country south of Port Waikato and north of Raglan. Picked this one up on the way. It only seemed appropriate as the gateway to points south of the mighty river.
Indiana, hu? I guess you could also call me Pennsylvania Paul, but no arc finding for me--just some caches. Cache is in good condition. Cheers for the cache.

Finally! I've attempted this probably a dozen times in the last four years but every time there were people fishing at GZ...until this evening! great close- up view of the river! TFTC!

Nice stop on our way to Port Waikato and after a failure on the other cache near this place...
Seemed to be quite difficult task with all the possibilities for hide, but than I obey to the hint.
Did not want to go climbing around broken beer bottles. Looks like the site is now used as a drinking den.
After taking the wrong track and searching in the wrong place for about 5 minutes we finally found it once we were on the right track easy find TFTC also the first find for my little brother and his girlfriend good way to welcome them to the TKUCREW
No broken glass but I did have to clamber over a dead chook. Decided not to practice CITO at this time. Spotted the cache in a likely location. TFTC

Not the most salubrious of locations? but a lovely walk along the river on a sunny Sunday.
Today, Vamber, KiwifruitsNZ and alpenmilch80 decided to tackle some of the caches out this way. We enjoyed a day of lovely (and muddy) walking, chatting and caching of course!
This was a quick find under the bridge. TFTC!

After finishing the Solar System trail, Vamber, alpenmilch80 and KiwifruitsNZ decided to tackle a few more caches in the area, with one aim being to see KFNZ secure their 1600th cache!
This one proved to be a quick easy find.

During the event at the Auckland's Botanical Gardens Team Vamber invited me to come along to tackle together with some caches in this area. I was a little bit scared about the weather forecast but it turned out to be a rain free sunny day . Due to the rain yesterday we had some muddy patches to cross which we all mastered slip-free and were rewarded later the day with some great ice cream....
Cache provided us a needed bathroom break as well as a Smiley. TFTC

Easy find but had to take evasive action so some local losers doing burn-outs wouldn't see me.
A nice quick find at a beaut bridge. Found during a flying visit Up North. Visiting family and caches in marginal weather Thanks for the hide.
Tried to find this over a year ago and failed miserably! We renewed our geocaching enthusiasm today, yeah, tftc
thought it would nice and dry under the bridge. wrong. heaps of big red fish not far out in the river. tftc
I was looking to low at first. Then I read the description again. Ah, it's the rain not the river that could sweep it in. TFTC
A nice day to stroll around - very quiet though I wonder where everyone is - a party we didn't know about. t4tc
Easy find. Managed the grab without the attention of the nearby muggles. Lots of people on the water this arvo, I don't blame then it's very hot today.
A trio of cachers out & about on a lovely sunny morning, another nice quick grab, tftc

Had to be a bit dodgy as several surveying guys were working in the immediate area.Lucky the cache was not too difficult so wasn't there too long. Thankyou.
Great spot for a cache. My first time across this bridge I think. Found this one after finding another cache at the other end of the reserve. TFTC, Biggles.
Found orginally as part of phasevisitor team, now created own account, re-logging as yorkshirekiwi83.
We were down this way completing the nearby Solar System Trail and headed back to Auckland picking up a few more caches along the way.
A quick find and a nice spot here. Thanks for the cache!

Out with Miss Sara - rain just starting - checked one place and then extended the search a little bit and WOOHOO - there it was nestled - TFTC
Found it with Aoi, Tai and Lance ... on the way back from Port Waikato ... very quick find ... TFTC
Had gone past here before, a long time ago, and meant to find the cache here but it was missing at the time (it was a previous cache at/near this spot), so it was good to stop in this interesting spot today to pick up a find here. The river is *very* high at the moment, almost up to the cache! TFTC!!!
It was another trip for me down South of the Big Smoke to finish off what I started last week.
Luckily I was able to squat down to retrieve the cache.
Cheers for the cache.

In the area today cleaning up a few unfound caches since our last visit. Miss made the find as i was still trying to work out where the GPS was pointing to. Grabbed a GC for moving along. TFTC!
Nice place for a cache. Had just competed at a Hillclimb at Murray Rd so a nice place to stop for a scenic on the way to the prize-giving. The cache was sitting loose, so I wedged it in to make sure it stays.
Had to go away, then come back later as when I arrived someone was having a somke of funny smelling stuff. Once all clear and the fog had disapeared a nice quick find, TFTC
Not a hard find the clue was very apt as I went looking around. Lots of necks of bottles here. TFTC
haha this was an interesting one spent 10 minutes looking for this when my friend that came only said look under there i did and found it great find and loads of fun thanxs
Out and about this afternoon with the FF and his Poppa for a little geocaching. We ended up near here and though we didn't actually have the coordinates I was pretty sure we could find it based on my memory of the cache page. Theory confirmed as the cache was soon produced from the first place checked. As a child we used to visit this spot so are very familiar with the bridge. Cheers for the cache!
It was a such a fantastic day for a picnic so we set off to somewhere new to see what we could find. On the way home we stopped by to pick up this little hide. Daz first thought it might be on the bridge but quickly discovered that this was not the case. Down below a short hunt made for a quick find. However Ky moved even quicker as a spider made its presence known and gave her a fright while she was replacing the log which we signed in the car. TFTC.
While looking around I had the Police doing a slow drive by.... I think they thought I may have been doing business under the bridge....
After that it was a quick find thanks

Called in to the Reserve while passing through the area, and made a quick find at LQD Power. The river here looks calm rather than powerful, but that is probably very deceptive. Thanks.

Easily found on the way home from dog walking at Port Waikato. Gone over the bridge many times but this was the first time I ever stopped at the reserve. Nice place to stop for a cuppa. TFTC
We had been to this reserve a few times before so knew how to access the cache area.
+ a marble, - nothing.

I'll get out there to check it soon, but give it a miss for now.
Apologies.
