After yesterdays successful event up the hill I am continuing my cache finding in the area today.
This cache is obviously missing.
Can cache owner either replace the cache or archive it please?

Wellll - some of it as I fear the rest muggled.
No container to speak of and this dry partial log lying on the ground.
Maintenance in order asap!
Saw another person out here at the same time but didn't want to freak her out saying hi alone in a swamp.
Apologies if you were also caching.

I intend logging this as a favourite based on the native defence of the cache. Little crabs with aggressive tendencies first, then big spider webs across the track with big spiders at their centre, then mosquitoes who waited until I had my hands full in the signing of the log before attacking. Yes I loved the challenge of finding this one - thanks quintrex4.
Found on our trip to Ettalong Beach for the weekend. Goodness me, in the rain today, the road was so muddy that we were sinking into the road, there were a thousand puddles, a thousand mozzies and a thousand spiderwebs - it was like an epic Indiana Jones adventure! The path to GZ was full of all these obstacles, where we had to somehow pass them every time we reached them. So despite the walk only being 200m or so, it felt like a little bit longer. Once at GZ, it was a reasonably quick find at GZ. Had to keep moving around while signing the log though - the mozzies were intense whenever I was standing still! Lovely area. TFTC quintrex4!
Went for a drive with dad to find some geocaches down the coast after only finding one in the direct area to where we were staying (Macmasters Beach)
This was quite an experience! Came down the track dodging some wet puddles and it was quite boggy. Then we hit a very wet spot that didn't last long and had 2 spiderwebs blocking the path with HUGE spiders right in the middle of them!
My dad decided to take a pass, but I was determined to find it after the trek. Ducked down very low and took some jumps on the rocks to avoid the water, and went straight under the webs. Got there in the end to make an interesting find! Thanks for this cache adding its first favourite point after 4 years :O It deserves one for the trek, the crabs on the way and the interesting object at the GZ

There were lots of tiny orange and black crabs on the track leading to GZ, maybe they are scouts for a well known local cacher?
A quick find, thanks.
A quick find, thanks.
I've been heading to this one on several occasions only to turn back because of water covering the track. I purposely headed there today close to low tide to avoid the water but alas, part of the track was still covered. Bugger it, I thought, let's just do it!! So gingerly I made made my way from stone to tussock across the water ... and got across without feeling any dampness in my socks. Can't say the same for the return trip though ... ah well, in the words of the great Forrest Gump ... shit happens!! At least the cache was easily found, thanks to the hint, and is in reasonably good order.
8/06/14. 8:13 AM. Cache #1602. 6th of 7 caches for the morning. After LOST: Flight Data Recorder in Daleys Point, I headed north to Empire Bay to get this one. Picked my way carefully along the track, trying to find the least muddy sides, but squelching through lots of it at times (gumboots would have been better!). Finally got to GZ. How did that get here??? Easy find with the hint; container is borderline Micro?
Squelched back to the car, then headed back to my parents' place at Green Point for breakfast; but one more cache up there to finish (A Puzzling View -aMAZEing-). TFTC }:)

Not much rain recently but still damp underfoot. Found with hint. So what car is it? My guess a Morris Marina or similar.

Enjoyed a short stroll with the geo-family in between rain showers. The kids enjoyed the muddy puddles (just like daddy pig) and spotted heaps of mud crabs along the way. Once at GZ the hunt was short and sweet with the mud-blood wife immediately saying "what are we looking for coz there's a taped up plastic container right there" and gave me that look that says, 'we came here for that!?' - why is it the non-believers always turn up trumps?
found along time ago but still remember this as within a kilometer of home
Owner Maintenance.
Cache still there. Please ensure you place the cache back in the right position and not in plain sight.
Thankyou

Found with MrDamage. I'm finally getting my logs done. We had to take our shoes off for this because of all the water. The mud in spots went between the toes, ooooeyeee...
Found with AuroraEve 5:34 pm TFTC. Had to wade through tidal water on the wet land to get to it. Shoes off squishy mud between our toes ugh!!
Had a great adventure through mud and water. Glad I brought my gumboots! Nice hide. TNLN
The track in was pretty boggy, even after a couple of weeks of relatively dry weather - it's just as well I was barefoot! The cache itself was an easy find once I got there, with a nice hide. Many thanks.
Over from NZ on a little geocaching holiday.
Enjoyed touring around this area and finding caches along the way.
The track was more -wet-land than the wetlands!!
Soon had it located. SL TFTC

Our first find in Australia, only 10,000 miles from home! We introduced our Aussie nephew and niece to Geocaching, it was their first find. Tftc.
A daunting walk through the wetlands, definitely wouldn't want to come out here at night! Found easily enough, tftc!
Another one for today. We have had a great day and added a few to our tally.

Got it and in response to the originally unintelligible clue - yes, you did! Very dry here today so no little nippy creatures for us. We were so excited to find the cache we jumped for joy on the way back but fell right through! SL TFTC Cheers... Gaztek
We had a nice walk out to the hiding spot. This one had us stumped for a few minutes. But after a re check soon found it snugly hidden away. TFTC quintrex4
Glad for us go out for a day today because so beauitful blue sky since terriable weather....
finally found cache after second time.... thanks god... hide very well... thanks

I was worried by all the rain we've had lately, but I can assure anyone its fine enough for work boots, though probably not loggers. I thought by the description this would be bigger In size, its not, so don't expect any swag this time people.

With the third time back today and searching for another 2 hours the authenticity of this cache comes into question ? Is it there ?
Will be visiting tomorrow to confirm if the cache is there or will replace it tomorrow
certainly a different spot to usual. since mother winteberry has a phobia of crabs it made this one a bit harder for her. also one muddie part i needed to cary her over. once near gz, saw many car wrecks. looked at gz for a bit then went of to the trees but quickly moved back to the car. guess i didn't look hard enough on the first search. very clever! TFTC!!!
The rain stopped so we when out for a find and grandma wanted to do some bird watching being a wetlands. See saw a variety of feathered fiends and will becoming back will her full kit as she heard the call of something a little rare.
The path was slippery with the mud but we managed to reach GZ without falling over.
Once at GZ the clue made sense and we had a quick find. Once you drive your car in too far I can see what happens to it. SL
Made it out without splipping over inthe mud and no mozzies

Very wet/sludgy walk to the cache we thought that cache may have disappeared but GeoMum found the cache with no problems

The walk was very sludgy and muddy after the recent rain. Thought the cache wasn't there when GeoMum struck. Sneaky hide.

Yuck! Yuck! Yuck! The mud was horrible and annoying. Glad I didn't slip over.
Was well hidden

So glad I didn't know the meaning of Muskeg when I set out to find this! I may have put it off for a long time! With the heavy rains we have had lately, this was the only dry day I could go looking. I waded through ankle deep water almost all the way to GZ. But once there I was surprised it only took me 2 mins to locate the cache. A good hide. Thanks q4.
Was about to give up, started kicking and screaming then BAM it appeared, nice one
no lucky find here. cache is missing, possibly consumed by the killer crabs swarming the site!
Not a good way to finish our day today........Looked for ages couldn't find it!
Reperio at 1600. Darwinian and I stopped by and headed out along the very muddy track to GZ. Between dodging mossies, crabs, and the mud, we certainly had our work cut out, but made it in the end. We searched around in a couple of spots before spotting the well concealed cache. Maybe this thing got stuck in the mud and were attacked by killer crabs...guess we'll never know. Enjoyed the area.
Gratias.

This is our 4441st overall find.
Found at about 1:10 PM. Looking at the map I decided this one would be a nice quick driveby to do on my way to a work meeting. The road didn't quite go as far as my map showed but it was only a short stroll and a quick find.
Thanks to quintrex4 for the cache.

Found location but cache was missing. Found it metres away all dispersed and wet on the ground. Put it back in the right place
We where in the area for a wedding so why not do some caching as well
After keeping on eye on the crabs at your feet and the other eye on the spiders that have made the webs the night before we some had this one in the hand
Thanks for the hunt

Now I've found this one I'm glad I didnt try it at night...
I initialy had intended to give this a go last night at about 10:00pm ( yes i had cache hunting cravings)
but i talked myself out of it.
Tthismorning when it was nice and sunny, and hot ! ( 38 degrees C today) i battled ther giant crabs and rising tidal waves to log this the cache before the mud and slush filled my new sandals... ( note to self, keep gumboots handy)
well the cache appears to be in good conditione despite the area being threaded with silly string recently.
the location looks like a cool hang out for some local kids. I have no idea how long this cache will last in its location, and considering its container, how may rainstorms it can weather....
took nothing, left micro compass.

Found it really quickly. Tn ln. Came by boat which made for mangroves. Must say you aren't parking my car! Woyboys
i belive it counts as finding this considering i help quintrex4 put it there so this should be half my cache : P GOOD HIDE! hehe
Just about to visit Umina library when this came in so took a detour. We had to brave a nest of wasp-like insects and big black mozzies, and the scenery at the end was a bit of a dump, but a FTF is always a good cache. Left Uncle Krud's Roma GC, befitting the area. Thanks to Quintrex4 for placing this good hide up the road from our house.
