Passing thru with some time to spare, so what do you do - cache of course - great place to visit, good clue. TFTC
What an utterly charming park, it is beautiful with its waterfall and so well maintained... I confess to having a leaf boat race down the waterway to the bottom pond... but I lost....
Took rabbit left flower. TFTH.

What a delightful surprise this lovely waterfall and garden are. Thanks so much for bringing us here TasmanJumper.
Nice cache. Took Butterfly Lady's geocoin to place on the other side of the Island. Left Trackable (Aussie origin) here not too far from the gaol. No convict jokes about our cousins over the ditch please. [;0]

Grabbing a few caches in the area while passing through on our 'how ever long it takes' NZ tour.
Thanks for setting this up.

Exchanged Geocoins.
This is a very nice place. We were on the way to the prison when we saw that there was a cache (and a munzee) nearby and decided to give it a go. While Stefan was still busy taking pictures of the beautiful waterfall, I already found the cache and logged it.
And off we went to a spooky prison tour.
Thanks for the cache (and the munzee!)

3rd cache for the grand daughter today. No water at the waterfall, but a nice spot and a tricky little hide. TFTC.
Great spot, would have never stopped otherwise. Found during road trip from Welly to Hawkes Bay. TFTC
Found during a brief gap between the rain easing, and our table in Mint becoming available. TFTC
Walked the 2km up from my motel to this great area. Quick find once I located the area. Found the munzee too. Thanks.
Nice one here - thanks for getting us here. Met another geocache couple here - wow, fun finding people everywhere cachin'. TFTC. SL
We are here for the Mission Concert & thought we should find this very clever cache. TFTC
12.05pm. Thanks for bringing us here to this beautiful place. BEEN IN napier many times before caching days but never to this spot. The flowers were wt their best and there was a good flow on the falls. Cache was soon found too.
Thank you. David and Noeline.

Someones taken the pencil! Didn't get to log in book, but enjoyed finding, and hiding from muggles. Took travel bug
Found with Etherlord and Seagnoid on the geocaching road trip.
This was a good learning curve.

Found during Etherlord, Seagnoid and Lillianavess' 52-cache geo-road trip to Napier, find 25/46.
I figured the general area pretty quickly, but was 180° out of phase.
when Seagnoid had finished singing, I turned around... there it was right in front of me

My cache buddies sarted big time on the wrong thing, but I've seen this sort of thing before and started searching elsewhere. And then I read the hint. Hey no fair - I was searching this bit, but Etherlord finds it! Go back to what you were searching before! ache 25 of 45 of a super awesome cache day road trip to Hawkes Bay.

A rainy day in Napier, but found the cache nonetheless. My son's favorite group is Pink Floyd so it was easy to decipher the lyrics. TFTC!
Nice find while we are on vacation, dropped our last TB from Nevada, good travels mate.
A bit soupy today for our stop in Napier! TFTC in such a nice setting! Beautiful waterfalls!
On a rainy day in Napier this was a fun find. My son is a big Pink Floyd fan so I'm very familiar with the song lyrics. TFTC!
Here in Napier for the annual Sprint the Bays orienteering event
Lovely park - the hint reminded me of my youth!

Quick find by my geo-nephews after I decoded the hint for them. lovely spot I'd never visited before. Interesting parallels with my own Mt Cook Police Barracks (Wellington) cache, as the barracks were constructed by prison labour. TFTC
Found this one on our circumnavigation of NZ aboard Radiance of the Seas. We enjoyed walking around Napier and found this one on our way to the top of Bluff Hill. TYFTC
KNOW IT ALL RAY WAS RIGHT ABOUT THE CLUE SO FOUND THIS ONE VERY QUICKLY.
THE GARDEN AND WATERFALL WERE BEAUTIFUL.

First time we used a gps. While one of us was mucking around finding the co-ordinates, the other had already found the cache.
#806: Falling Beauty
We came to this one on our trip up to Bluff Hill for the view (and the caches). The GeoYounglings were reluctant at first to get out of the GeoMobile to have a look, but once I told them it was worth it (they like waterfalls), we all piled out and into this nice, peaceful park. GeoYoungling #1 made the actual find, after we viewed the falls and gardens.

Wandered around these beautiful gardens and found the cache. Then over the road to look at the prision. Thank you for the cache and bringing me to this picturesque, interesting area.
Lovely gardens. Agree with prior comment about entering flowerbed. TFTC

Lovely place. Felt a bit worried of passers by walking around in the trees, so took a while to find! TFTC
Don't know that I like walking over gardens when there is no actual pathway. Neither do I think that removing parts of a structure to find the cache are in the best interests of caching. However others may disagree. TFTC
A lovely waterfall in a very pretty little spot. This was my first find for this trip to NZ, and a nice way to start the collection. A quick stroll along the GZ area with my eyes open for tell-tale signs and I quickly had the cache in hand. Thanks TasmanJumper.

Just a quick note to say that this cache will be back up and running within the fortnight. Apologies for the delay
Notice this one was marked as not found the day after we discovered it. Seems very strange because we remember concealing this one very well under the structure and checked from all angles to make sure it was not visible. Wondering if it could still be there but just well hidden way under?
Sadly it looks like this cache has been muggled again. I'm temporarily disabling this listing until I'm able to investigate a new hiding spot.
No luck for us either, it would be a pity if this cache has disappeared again.
Not a wasted visit, though, as the gardens are looking beautiful at the moment. Waterfall was great too.
Ooops, slip of the finger - had logged this as a find, now rectified.

no luck with this one either.. think it probably has gone... was distracted by a possible muggle but she moved on eventually and soaked her shoes in the stream????? what???
Coords match and seems like description fits but no luck. I see its gone missing before ?? No luck after long search.
Nice spot - we know it well as we lived here until 2007. Dropped off HH on European Holiday #2 and picked up the 2 TBs, A Kaleidoscope of colors Celebrating 10 Years of Geocaching Geocoin and Canada Micro 2009 Geocoin
This is very nice place and waterfall is the best Tak konecne šéfe nic hezcího sem tady najít nemohl vodopády kousek od more ponorené zahrady a ješte kousek od veznice.... Zdar a sílu pioníri od protinožcu
I decided to go and haver a look anyway as I was at the waterfall and was rewarded with a nice new box to find.
Left Shaun the Sheep TB.

What an amazing wee park. We had seen this waterfall on the way past once before but wedding photos were been taken. It was good to have an excuse to go back and have a good look. Got some good photos of our own on this day.
A quick find with Crystal Fairy by torchlight in the late evening. Loved the lighting and the atmosphere of the place! Signed log, TFTC
Found with agcnz on our weekend caching spree. Thanks for the cache. Beautiful by night.. Couldn't get the photo I wanted, but really an awesome location.
