Decided to archive this geocache as the gate is mostly always locked now even though it's a public park.
It's had a long run. Cheers!

Second visit to the area as I missed the sneaky little turn off last time. Quite a pleasant walk to get to GZ where a nice quick find was made. Thanks Aussie Liahona for the good hide and TFTC
A nice, easy one to begin our morning, unfortunately leaving Binna Burra to return home to Brisbane. TFTC. Sneaky Squirrels
What an unusual place, at least there was a horse being ridden today. Found easily, signed and replaced
Found with sil (RMO)

This was an 'interesting' park for sure. While on holidays this week, we headed here to Faust Family Park for the kids to run around and play..... but it was like an abandoned horse riding arena? strange.
Oh well, there's plenty more places to explore and caches to be found!! Thanks for the cache Aussie Liahona.

Tough to get out. Travelling to meet up with the Tough Mothers for the Mt Warning climb.
Nice to stretch our legs after a long drive. Found quick and easy while our geogirls jumped in and out of the Tyres. TFTC

Headed south to pick up a few caches around Hinze Dam & Nerang.
This was #5 of 20 for today.
Heading towards GZ & found ourselves stopped by a locked gate.
Hmmmm?
Oh well, nothing else for it but a bit of legwork.
I can't believe that at 107kg & almost 61 years of age that I actually jogged, the just over 200 metres, to the cache, found it, signed it, replaced it & then jogged back to the Geo-beast.
You gotta be a little crazy to be a cacher! LOL ...
All good here.

Out for a day of geocaching. This one was a quick find in a nice park we never know is there. Thank you for bringing us here. TFTC
Ha ha, really liked this one! Saw a wallaby just moments before finding cache so when we opened up the cache the contents were right on! Easy find, nice spot. Is it a dog park or horse park? I dunno.. But there are skippys.
Very fitting cache name for me at the moment as I R ecently watched the first three Mad Max movies for the first time. You should place a wheel there for those who "break the deal "and don't find it. TFTC
TFTC I have often driven by this park and never stopped. What a great park. Took trackable and will continue its journey.
Walked through the bush for a while. We didn't know where the best parking was. But we got it, little adventure.
walked from the advancedtown hotel and the gate was closed but easy to get past. Was good fun and a bit of a challenge. Thanks for the good challenge
Nice easy find
Colum 2 just started on log CO.
FOUND AT 3.35PM after a nice ride at the hinze dam. 2nd find for the day. And save the entry last time we were here.

After a long Geocaching break, this one got us back into the excitement of the find! Our GPS wasn't working too brilliantly so we had to rely on searching skills alone, but Mr 8 proved he hasn't lost his ability to sniff out GZ like a bloodhound TFTC Aussie Liahona!
What a strange little park. No muggles made this one a nice quiet find. The dog enjoyed explorating. Tftc!
After "Escaping the G20" with a nice long walk from O'Reilly's to Binna Burra yesterday, on the way home I needed to grab a few caches to make up the numbers in preparation for a big milestone next weekend.
It is mid morning, and stinking hot. So it was a slow walk to GZ. There was a poor horse under a cover eating grass in the shade nearby. As I approached, he came looking for a carrot and a pat. Once he realised there was none to be had, he returned to the shade.
Cache was found and I slowly reuturned to the air conditioned car. All in good order here.
Thanks for the cache, Aussie Liahona.

Great day of caching with great friends what more could you ask for. A nice pull off spot, cache was soon in hand, log signed congrats to Pedalpower14 and we were on our way again. TFTC
cache find #2013. What a wonderful day we have had with geofriends from Logan Geocahcing Group. On earthcache day, as Mr GT54 and I celebrate our milestone of 2000th find. We all strolled over to GZ, and Pedalpower14 found the find. It was their 100th find. TFTC.
Out with the Logan Geocaching group and another milestone celebrated at 100 finds by geofriends, Pedal power14.
The cache was found and the log signed and replaced as found.
This was the last cache with the Logan Geocaching Group today and we headed off to find a few more caches before heading home. A heartfelt thanks to Gulliver Travels54 for the invite to a great day out for their celebrations for 2000 finds.

Found it, nice pick up on the way to naturalbridge, ah that thunder dome.. tftc
Called into this park on the way back from a fun caching time at Hinze Dam.
It never ceases to amaze us how many little hidden away parks there are on the Gold Coast. How the GCCC keep track of them all and keep them all so well maintained is incredible.
Thanks for bringing us here Aussie Liahona.

Didn't find it, we may have taken the wrong entrance, as it didn't look like a public space to us. Will try again another time.
After asking a couple of kids on pushbikes, we were directed to the entrance of the park (we approached from the wrong direction and missed the sign).
We had a nice walk to the cache signed the log and ambled back to the car. No horses around but abundant birdlife in the creek near the gate (very relaxing to watch).

What a nice lil spot to find a cache wish we had a horse to ride, the man had this one done and dusted very quick TFTC
Another cache I did not take a look for on my previous visit to the area. On the last visit their was a van or two camping right near the gate, and to avoid any problems thought it better left.
So today I arrived and found the area to be completely deserted, I noted that the gate could be opened and did half consider driving the car down for the cache. But soon thought no that is just being lazy, get out and walk it would be much better. Well I went one better and jogged it, although probably not the smartest idea, but hey cannot always win.
So I arrived and had a few options for the hide, and come up with the container in the first place I looked.

Day off from work today. IolantheK and I went down through the Numinbah Valley over the border into NSW to Murwillumbah [^]
This was the first of a number of caches IolantheK needed to get her numbers right for her mile stone 4000 at 'Cloud Catcher', Mt Warning
Nice easy find [^] pity there were no horses today, the gate was shut and we had to walk
The cache is dry and in good condition [^]

T-Tech and I are heading to Murwillumbah for a milestone-smashing adventure at Mt Warning this weekend. I needed 17 more finds to get my numbers right, and as T-Tech wanted to travel down through the Numinbah Valley, I had no trouble getting enough done [^]
The gate was locked so we took the walk to GZ where the cache was quickly in hand. A good start to the day TFTC, Aussie Liahona.

Found. First on the new log. Replaced the camo but could not replace all the ants that came out with the tube.
Drove past and saw the gate was open so I drove in to check on the cache. All is in good order. I've added a new log and a new pencil.
Happy caching..............

This was another one of the caches Anthony found years ago when he cached under a different name so he remembered where it was. He was so kind to let Sal and number one son find it though. Thanks for the cache Aussie Liahona
Nice quiet park with an easy quick find. Good one for the family as it's muggle free.
On my final day of my Queensland caching trip I was able to grab a final 39 caches for the day. Had a great day with a few hard finds and a few walks. Thanks to all the CO's for their placements, and I apologise for the generic logs but I'm so far behind in my logging. Thanks heaps.
Found with Poynts95 and Sportacuss. Out and about on the Gold Coast for this run. Caching primarily West of the Motorway, we had the chance to pick up some solved puzzles and a couple of dozen other caches. A good day, with lunch in a plesant park. Thanks to all cache owners for placing and maintaining their caches and appologies for the late logs.

This was pretty weird. We walked in, no probs there, to find a caravan set up behind the locked gates, about 10 m from GZ. Not to be detered, I just went and made a find anyway, while the kids played with some freindly horses near the fence. TFTC and interesting.

Found this cache whilst out for a day of caching with Nyssaflutterby and mini munchkin. We had decided to head somewhere different and after completely changing our minds halfway to a further away cache we ended up in this direction. We weren't actually going to pass this cache but after a quick detour we were at a gate and I was checking if we would be able to drive to the cache or not. Luckily there was a council truck in the park so the gate was unlocked (not being locals we had no idea if the gate was normally locked or not).
After a friendly wave to the council worker we drove over to GZ. We searched every spot except the one with the cache in it! After feeling beaten Nyssaflutterby retreated to the car and noticed the unsearched spot. A second or two later she had the cache in her hands! We were quite baffled by the single chair in the ground about 30m from GZ. Thanks for the cache Aussie Liahona!

I have driven past this one a few times but never had the time to stop. Today however with Net88 as my wingman we had a few minutes to give this one a go. I pulled up in front of the gate and Net jumped out to go check if it was locked. Luckily for us it wasn't We soon found out why though, local council workers were in here also. We figured the worse that could happen was that we were asked to leave, so as we drove past them we gave them a friendly wave. They smiled and kept on about their business. Which left us time to get about to our business.
I pulled Spangle up close to GZ and we spread out over the area checking all the obvious spots. Hmmm, nothing? After a bit I finally spotted one place we hadn't checked. I wandered over and it had all the tell tale signs of hiding a cache. Not sure how we missed this one before now? After signing our names we made sure that the cache was well covered again.

Drove down the small road and found the gate closed and the park empty. perfect to go caching. So we parked the car and walked to GZ. had a look around and found the cache easy enough. The trouble was getting the camo out of the way to get to the cache. Finally got it out and found that the log was pretty much full and too damp to write on that when we went to sign it it just ripped the paper. May need a replacement. TFTC
With Geohubby at work it was up to me to head out for the caches today. 6 out of 6 Woo Hoo! That's good for me! Lol. Number 3 of 6 and I was so happy to be going so well. This little park had the gate shut but as I approached I realized the lock wasn't done up .. Yay! Drove in and grabbed the cache quick as a wink
Signed the log and returned it to its hidey hole
Thanks for bringing me out here Aussie Liahona!

TFTCSL No thunder today from the box or from hooves. We did look a bit suspect coming out there!!! Were they cachers??? Berken and I enjoyed the stroll to GZ!!
On my way up in the hills for a little walk.

This was the first cache on a massive list for me today. I was here so early the whole park was completely covered in mist. Thankfully I thought to bring my gumboots as the ground was very wet and muddy. Found GZ with the help of my torch. Original log is full, signed the spare paper. Both are damp.
It's funny how some caches can stay alive for so long even when hidden like this.
Thanks Aussie Liahona

Visiting from Newcastle, staying with my brother in Nerang, found with him (frayeromm), had a hell of a job getting the little beastie out but it's alright now, needs new log, sorry I didn't bring one with me, TFTC Aussie Liahona!!
Once we had found the entrance to the park, as it is easily missed. A short walk to GZ to have the cache in hand. Not much to do here unless you have a horse. Thanks!
Last for the day while my Mum was Nanna napping on Boxing Day. Good run for my dog. Thanks AL and Merry Xmas.
Found this on our way to Surfers for Xmas, out of bed early to catch up with the paper work.
Luckily for there were a couple of council workers having smoko here as we arrived, stopped & asked how long before they leave & they said 2 minutes & then they were going to lock the gate.
Quick scout around, located GZ & the cache & then on our way.
Thanks Aussie Liahona

After first visit was thwarted by muggles, returned on our way to the airport heading home. A quick sprint to the 'facilities', soon located the cache but couldn't persuade the teenagers that their hands were better suited to retrieving it. Just had to go for it and hope the spiders were still asleep! TFCC
Found with geodog. Geodog had an explore while I found the cache. All is in good order. Thanks AL
# 473 Todays Caching was completely focused on collecting the two XoE caches down this way. I down loaded the pod casts and collected the required info but was concerned that they were gone due to the lack of finds over recent time. Contacted Herbz who confirmed my co-ords and assured me that they would still be there. I did the Upper Coomera Road ones the other night, so started with this side on my way down.
Ok. I know I said that the last cache was going to be my last cache for the day, but having had a steak burger and filling up on water, I am now feeling much better and can't resist picking off a few more.
Drove the Cache Racer right up to GZ, which was a task on it's own. It's really not designed for anything other than the road. Also got some nasty looks from a Grey Nomad that was setting up camp. Guess he thought I was there to do doughnuts.
Cache was a quick find, and I was on my way again, after a slow cautious drive back out to the road.

Missed the entrance to the park first pass, soon sorted though. The gate has been "bulldozed" by the local hoons, so you could drive to GZ in a 4WD. Abandonned the little lancer at the gate and walked in. Lovely mess in here. Grass toen up and rubbish everywhere. Such a shame. GZ was soon located and my name duly added. There was no camo on the cache, so I left a rock on top to help hide it. I score some sistema containers that had been dumped halfway across the paddock. Hmmm new cache containers
I think we looked at every fence post there... then we became a little worried that there might be electric fence (and it had been raining). Eventually, one member of the team found the 'correct' fence post lol... TFTC! =)
