Logs
Found this cache as a kid so returned to log. No pen but one of my fav caches as a kid. Tftc
Tonight was one of those nights that I even wonder why I bother with this hobby - or at least, why I set myself a challenge of maintaining a year-long streak. I had wanted to be home hours ago, but prior to coming here, I had had three DNFs - all of which were supposed to be simple park and grabs, of course - the last of which I had a very good go at, but it involved trying to move a cover that was just so lodged in that it was near impossible without the proper TOTT and led me to losing my composure. A quick Woolies trip to calm down and get some snacks and a geo-map searching later, I came across this cache relatively nearby: one that I'd actually put on a list to save for a rainy day. As I arrived after 10pm at night, there were next to no Muggles around, in fact after the two that were passing through had departed the area was dead quiet, and kind of peaceful. I'd read the hint before coming here, and when I put together what it was referring to I though it was quite clever. The cache was found quickly and I was so happy to find it. I don't have Go-Go-Gadget Arms, mind you, but I seriously don't know how someone could retrieve it from their car (as per the description), as not only would that be a very long reach, but that the cache was very difficult to retrieve from its hiding spot. I even said out loud to myself "Holy moly, that's a strong magnet!" and elected for more of a sliding off motion than trying to pull it away from its hiding place. I had a peak at the heavy duty magnet once I had the cache in hand, and I was quite impressed. This cache promised to be incredibly convenient and easy to get to and find, and it absolutely delivered on that promise - and I'm very grateful that it was put out. In fact, the whole cache presented as rather humble, but I think it was quite a brilliant cache, just as it was: there was parking very close by, the container blended in wonderfully, and although it was not placed on the most glamorous structure around, that was the beauty of it as Muggles would not be likely to hang around long enough to discover it.I was very grateful that this cache was put out and it was a good caching experience finding it. Thanks so much for the cache!
I grabbed this one after picking up a public transport card at the nearby post office. It was pretty quiet in this lane at school pickup time. Thanks for the cache!
With some tree climbing events on today, EthisEthat headed out to grab some caches in between times.I'd previously visited this gz on an overcast day which was great for searching, but I still felt terribly sketchy hunting around right beside a public toilet, so I left it behind. With EE in tow today, though, things seemed far more achievable!EE managed to track down the hide just as someone approached us... fortunately he introduced himself as SilverPersian99 and we were all able to add our names to the logbook! Thanks to wing6rider for this placement!
In the area for the nearby multi, so decided to attempt this on the way through, and, what do you do, there were a couple of other cachers loitering suspiciously in the area who had already done the hard work for me!TFTC!
My target today was to visit and get caches in as many Canberra suburbs as I could. This was one of my finds. Thank you for placing and maintaining this cache. A muggle free find.
Full time Nomads, travelling around Australia since 2014. Back in Canberra in anticipation of ANZAC day. With a cold morning it was a later start than originally planned. Knowing we wanted to be in Kambah by 3pm a list was written heading south today. Of course the list was just too long but we got to a fun event and claimed a few smilies along the way.TFTC wing6rider & Crystal Warrior

We do not have gadet arms. The trip bit.Easter geocaching festival of twenty twenty four. This time it is the turn of Oz Mega GeoBash MEGA event in the nation's capital. It is time for a road trip across country to Canberra in the Sporty Pajero Sports. Freddo and Gridge98 traveling from Adelaide via a strange inland route that takes in scenic rural locations, dusty roads, punctured tyres, overheating batteries, various tools of the trade, special campgrounds, and lots scope for many many geocaching finds. Along the way we saw running emus, jumping kangaroos, wandering deer, dead foxes, herds of wooly sheep and stray steers.Arriving in Canberra we met our colleagues e.gregory1, featherwaite, team walron, courtney rose, davidwazza, e_smilie, and georode, signing as ABP, plus a huge group of other like minded excited mega geocachers attending event after event, and more events.Day one. Adelaide to Broken HillDay two. Broken Hill to WellingtonDay three. Wellington to CowraDay four. Cowra to BathurstDay five. Bathurst to CanberraDay six. Canberra to CanberraDay seven. Canberra to QueenbeeyanDay eight. Canberra to AdelaideThe generic bit.I will apologize right now, because everything from here on is here solely for the purpose of padding the word count and winning that one hundred word diamond badge again. Somebody moved the goal posts. So many caches to find. So many caches to log. We find them, sign them and replace them. This particular geocache was found using one of the following GPS enabled devices, Garmin GPSr, Montana 680t, Oregon 650 or Dakota 20 and an Apple iPhone 11 using the marvelous Cachly app. Waypoints and paperless geocaching were downloaded via GSAK 9. Log prepared, checked and submitted using GSAK publish logs macro.Warning, this hobby can be addictive. It can lead to exercise, meeting new people and finding interesting places you might not have known existed otherwise. Beware: you may have fun. Apologies for the generic part of the cache log. We do apologise for the generic logs. Thanks to all the cache owner for placing this cache here for our enjoyment. Thanks for the cache. Merci la cache. Danke fr den Cache. Gracias por el cach. Logs were signed ABP to save time and space on the logsheets. It was a productive day, focusing mainly on caches of interest, with an emphasis on the Virtual caches and a couple of older ones. The weather was fine and quite warm, in contrast to some of the other times Ive been in Canberra over Easter. Thanks wing6rider for the cache.

Visiting Canberra from Brisbane to attend my son's surprise 40th birthday, we have been helping a friend with garden work and I have taken a break to find a few caches in the area.Made my way to GZ, were I had to get out of the car to search. Felt around for the cache and found it. That new magnet is strong!!Finally got the container, signed the log and returned as found.Good luck getting that off from the car!!!TFTC wing6rider
Unplanned find as my kids needed to stop for a toliet break. As I was waiting I decided to see if any cache near by. 1mtr away. Quick find
Found with Ktbrwn1 after a lovely brunch but forgot to log the cache as we rushed away. Came back to check the original log date in January 2024 and all was in good order. Left a green unicorn pencil on our initial visit. TFTC
What a beautiful leaf garden! Found with (by) Baristayan, but must admit we were on foot
Thanks for the cache ??
Thanks for the cache ??
Not a car-based find, but it's a sneaky little hiding spot! Billie didn't see it but DT's keen eyes spotted it quick! tftc
Found on a wet and quiet night. No one in sight.
The old log sheet is in a terrible state. I left it in the bottom of the cache (in case you wanted it) and added a fresh log book. The cache is full up with a couple of swaps and the log sheet/book. Might be worth a check.
A great spot and I can see it would be hard to get depending on the time of day

A quick find with geokid, who found the cache (with a little assistance), also signed the log (well, an orange dot) and rehid the cache all on her own (supervision of course). Thanks so much for the kid friendly cache!
#818 Turtle had visited here before and had a fairly good idea where we needed to look and only hadn’t found it due to a high density of muggles. He soon retrieved the cache whilst also having the challenge of the geohound tugging on the lead whilst he did. Added our names to the log and returned it to its hiding place. Thanks wing6rider and Crystal Warrior for the hide
#2713 I didn’t have go go gadget arms when I arrived but with the Staffy pulling on her lead most of the time during retrieval and logging I’m pretty sure one was a bit longer when I left. I have been past here before but it had been way too busy. This afternoon it was all but abandoned. TFTC.
Tftc, overlooked the obvious here at first , read the hint again and the all was good
So much fun. We really enjoyed this little hunt. Took 3 attempts with the kids but the hint was all we needed.
Thank you
Thank you
A nice quick find to start the night with K8tybee and newbie quirkyraven. Thank you for the cache
TFTC Was looking in the right place first off but the wrong container Had to MAF and swung back for an easy find. Power of the mind, noted! Plenty of muggles about today.
Grateful thanks to CO for placing and maintaining the caches to entertain me on my journey.

Oh boy! When one makes assumptions based on a hint and the real truth is staring right at you! And when i say "you," I really mean me. When the penny dropped, it was just a matter of which one. TFTC
