We have been looking for about an hour, we're pretty sure it got washed away in the flood
On a caching mission with Team G0LD today to get some numbers in the general Orewa area.
After a successful detour at Warkworth for a trail of 8 FTF's, we carried on and decided to call in here to look for the ones in Hatfield's Beach. However, despite 3 of us looking for a good 10 minutes, we were unable to locate the cache. Thx anyway.

Out with Team Gold this morning (0B80B8 and Liscrew) to collect a few caches to keep our numbers up. The team had a good look around, but had no luck locating this one. Thanks anyway.
Travelled up to Auckland for the Mega this weekend and to visit our daughter. Stopped at the dump station opposite here and thought we would then finish with a smiley. Took a few minutes to find the cache, but all dry. Log was missing so replaced. TFTC
Almost ended up in the mangroves. Very overgrown, and gave up when the smell of the onionweed became too much.
Uiii we found it, it is a nice view and it was pretty easy to find the treasure:)
Nice find with the geo kid and ingo the TB. Cache was exposed and log is missing. Find #11 today. Looks like someone is living rough right by GZ as there is a portable camp toilet in the bush and a bag of clothes etc
Found it with geo kid and geonana. A bit of a scramble in the tangles. A nice find. Tftc.
Second find for the evening - smashing out the caches I haven't found in Hatfields yet. The dogs nearby were more bothered by us than the campers, so we got in and out quickly. A beautiful evening and a great spot, TFTC!
Tricky! Box needs new trinkets but we just added something super cool This was the first ever cache that we found! Onion weed is super stinky
Well that is one hairy tree so the question was where to look. Well everywhere and when we had moved to our third spot we then came up with the goods.
First cache for the day. Checked quite a few spots & about to wave the white flag when l spotted it. TFTC
Stopped at this spot for lunch. And while missus was preparing lunch I had a little wander around and found this cache. Tftc
After staying overnight at the beautiful beach area, this morning we went for a quick walk to get this cache. TFTC
Great place but had to use stelth as close by was two girls sun baking nude. TFTC.
Went for a quick dip across the road and grabbed this cache afterwards. . . . was almost a park and grab I was able to drive right up to very close. TFTC
Been needing to unload some tbs for a while so this looked like a busy enough place and uncharacteriscally big for around here... had to be stealthy as their were cars parked around all the trees.. must be the dodgy side of park. Tbs in
On a road trip up North with McJandals grabbing a few caches on the way. Got caught in a downpour.
Cheers

After a bit of a forage around and some stinky onion weed cache was in hand. Tftc
Very damp today, felt like one of the many pukekos wading about! Found and signed, TFTC!

Heading up north ways to drop off Ambam, Ayden4aSmile decided to stop for this on the way. Huntsman2015 and I supervised from the car as one of us was in desperate need of a nap while the other two went hunting
Out on a nice day for a long walk and cache hunt. Came with Aiden29 and Merlot 58. Seeing this cache reminded us of this locations holiday resident and Prime Minister who came up with the think big projects. People in the carpark were thinking big energy wise with a huge solar panel array laid out on the grass.
Headed up to walk Moir's loop track in Pohuehue with Merlot58 and Jag50. We were heading to Orewa for ice-cream and happened to be passing by this spot. Very busy in the carpark here, with many travelers laying out their solar panels to charge. No one near GZ though so a quick easy find was made.
In the area with Jag50 and Aiden29. I was expecting something a lot bigger, the cache is now small not regular
Found with Spencer and Mum. Just the right height for a three year old treasure hunter
Stopped for a break on our way back from up north found this cache after a few minutes with my sister and nephew from aus
Out and about today, caching north of Auckland, with Gorby. We sure chose some good weather for it. Gorby had already found this one, but since we were passing by, we stopped so I could claim the find on this one. Made my way over the grass to GZ. Found after a few minutes of searching. I did manage to sign the damp log, but good to see the next visitor replaced the log. I took the TB. Cheers for the cache placement!
After having lunch and just missing out on second to find I strolled over to find this cache. Could not sign log as still damp so I have left another. Thank you.
Rally muddy getting across to location. No log book and lots of damp paper bits in bags so we haven't written our names but have taken photo of cache at location of the owner wants to verify we were there
Cool one for the kids - although a bit muddy getting there. Cool trading items
