Heading all the way over to Noojee to help a fellow cacher celebrate his 10 years of geocaching at the Toorongo Falls event.
But there is always time to find a few caches before hand as you head there.
Continuing along on my journey I came to the next spot which is just off the road and another spot on the map that you would probably just drive past.
There are great facilities here and it was nice and quiet at this time of the morning so I was able to sneak in and out without hopefully being seen.
The signs that were put up near by said that there was going to be Australia Day event close by in the early evening so I’m glad I came by at this time.
Thanks Team Crackers TFTC.

Out for caching with geo-friends. I had a great time finding your cache Team Crackers, thank you so much for placing it.
No one in the park today so it was an easy grab. Got this while doing the local lab caches. Thanks for the cache Team Crackers.
An easy find as we explore the area while doing the local adventure lab cache!

Today's plan was to smash out a handful of caches on my way up to the event in noojie/ where I will be camping the night. So with the triple j hottest 100 on to be the soundtrack of today's outing I was off, either way thanks for putting the cache out and being a part of the adventure that was today.
Dropped in to find the cache in plain sight but every thing was still inside so we rehid it again and all is good to go.
I was in this part of the countryside taking care of an errand and once that was done, I decided to take the slower road back to Bunyip via some geocaches.

While passing by with Crusty K9 in the sidecar, we stopped and signed the log. Just as we were about to leave, a local bailed us up for a chat. He was interesting, but it took quite some time to make a polite departure. Tftc.
Made a quick find while on our way to Bairnsdale.
Found cache then had a cuppa. Signed and replaced. TFTC

After a few months out of the state we needed to our maintenance up to date ASAP.
This is our most muggled cache and we arrived to find it missing again.
We have replaced it with a 400mm sistema a short distance from where it was.
Hopefully it will stay there this time.
Happy Hunting

We parked her on the way home from a bush trip with the kids, Geo son was being a bit 'smart' and said, "I bet there is a Geo there mum!" (god bless 10 y o's) in a sarcastic tone. Before I could say anything Geo Dad quickly said 'there is we found it when we came up here last time' (back in Feb). Not very impressed by Geo son's sarcasm I exited the car and I made my way to IGA, upon my return Geo Dad said to me..it's gone.. I was confused by this stage, I didn't know what he meant. Then I realised the meant hte Geocache. I took a look and saw it was disabled but let out a little shreik...I hadn't logged it.. tut tut... now I remember the day... Geo daughter was in a right royal mood and ( my kids are usually so good!) it was the only cache I got to do all day... back in a part of the year when I was way behind with logs, it got missed. Sorry Team Crackers. Will log now. Sorry to report it is gone ( according to Geo Dad) and sorry we couldn't replace it this trip, my gear is in the other car, IF we get to go stalking as planned next week I will try really hard to call in..
Looked for a few minutes without luck. The clue did not help. Decided not to persevere due to the recent DNFs. This may need to be checked.
We had a quick look for this one, but weren't able to do a detailed search as there was a muggle watching us.
*24 Feb 2019, Found @12:38 am, Find # 2499.*
After finishing up the DGS night cache we stopped here on our way out. This cache took a little while to locate what with us being watched by a muggle.

Fingers crossed I got the right date, will find a photo from the day and confirm ( adjust accordingly)
from my note written 28/7/19 cache appears to be now gone. My apologies for the late log

It was very well hidden but we found it! The log was still a bit damp but won’t break when you write on it! Good geocache
I had searched for this in September of 2018 as we stopped over on the way to school camp, with no luck! There was an area undergoing work that I was pretty sure it would be in, but didn't want to set a bad example trespassing at the time Surely enough, this time it was an easy find. Thank you
A pleasant walk after a meal at the pub. TFTC
Log at bit wet but still usable. Dried out cache.

Didn't understand the hint at first but when we worked it out we found it straight away.
out for a play with family. cache found and signed. log is very soggy, will need to be dried out and put in a sealed bag, perhaps. thank you (the hint helped)
Didn’t look too hard but couldn’t find where I did look. My daughter said I looked “sketchy”, so imagine if I did t have kids!
Nice easy find for Kat on this glorious day in the country. Cache was totally water logged so drained it out as much as we could. Thankfully the log book is all weather paper, just needed to let the ink dry in the sun before we could rehide the cache. TNLNSL. TFTC. KKams
A quick find with +Wife and our geomutts after attending the Yarra Expedition Part 9 event and ensuing cache hunt.
A couple of muggles about even though it is a cold wet day.
I'm fairly sure we found the 150 ml camo container.
Signed and replaced as the muggles headed back down to the lower part of the playground.
Thanks for the cache Team Crackers.

On our way home from holidays. Great park to stop at for lunch on a sunny autumn day. Thanks.
Last time we looked for this we were muggled off... A rainy day this time meant we had the place to ourself.

Today marked my first solo outing in this new job of mine, and my first daytime trip to Neerim South. I arrived a pleasant 20 minutes early for the appointment and decided to walk the main street, find this cache and then turn back. This all went swimmingly to plan, until the muggle sat at another table and stared at me. I had to wave at him to make him look away long enough for me to rehide the cache and skedaddle. TFTC Team Crackers.
As I have to wait for ma MIL to finish her appointment I am grabing a few caches here. Quick find Thanks.
We found finally we had found it a few years ago when I didn’t have the app I forgot where it was and found it again. yay
I enjoyed stopping here. It reminded me of some wonderful ski holidays on Mt BawBaw. This was the designated toilet stop and once or twice our chain hire place. A bit of a challenge as it was school pickup time but retrieved and replaced with discretion. TFTC
Easy find even tho there were muggles around with children on the playground. Tftc Left trackable
Out for a drive with Mrs bud17 and the geodog and a nice quick find.
Had to delay looking as there was a muggle on her phone right at the GZ. TNLN TFTC

Was glad I was in my car driving here after passing to bike riders struggling to ride up the huge hill on Neerim E Road.
Lovely play locationfor the kids of different ages.
Found this well hidden cache at the correct coordinates at 9.20 am. Certainly well hidden to the standard person but not to a cacher.
Thanks for the cache Team Crackers

We had an email from a previous finder saying this one had gone again so we dropped in here today.
The last replacement was missing but we did find the original container in a slightly different location, so it is now back where it should be.

Stopped here again for another look on our way past this afternoon. With no one about, we had the place to ourselves. Didn’t even need the GPS this time, found it in the second place I put my hand.
Thanks Team Crackers for the cache and for giving us a nice spot to stretch our legs.

Cant find we have looked for this one for months and months. No gum trees, little help?
Over the years, geocaching has taken me on many adventures, including interesting destinations all over my home continent of Australia and many overseas as well. It has also introduced me to a diverse group of like-minded caching tragics, many of whom I now call close friends.
Today, I was lucky enough to be out and about searching for caches, something I do on almost a daily basis. This was one cache that was targeted and found.
Sorry for the late and generic log, something I am notorious for. Thank you Team Crackersfor adding to the adventure that is geocaching.

Just checking out the DNF and found the cache not where we put it.
It has either moved or someone liked it too much.
Now replaced with 150ml camo container.
Hope this one lasts.

In the area today with beckNmonts doing some sight seeing as well as grabbing some quick caches, as we jumped in and out of the car , trying to keep as dry as possible on this wet day. Lucky today we didnt encounter any spiders but we certainly did get to meet the cache and sign its logbook.
Thanks Team Crackers for the placement.

Out today for some caches with The Tritons, we all lept out of the car and rued the fact that nobody needed to use the toilet, now there was one available. I remember when this park was built, my grandmother told me the story of how it came about. It was great to read about it and trigger my memory. We made short work of this as we had the park to ourselves today, due to bad weather. TFTC Team Crackers
This one appears to have gone missing, we will check it out early in September
