This morning, georode and I organised an early kayak session on South Pine River. It turned out to be a spectacular morning to have a paddle just after sunrise. We then popped over to Tinchi Tamba Wetlands to grab another geocache, and I then remained to make a few more short walks. I then needed to get my car serviced, so on the way, I detoured through Bracken Ridge, making a stop at McPherson Park to grab a few train title-themed geocaches.
After visiting the mechanic, I took a detour past Chermside and Wavell Heights visiting a few more geocaches, before grabbing a bakery lunch and continuing to work from home for the remainder of the day.
Whilst nearby to this archived cache, I thought I'd have a go at seeing if this cache was still present. It didn't look like that these *Great Circle Line* geocaches were picked up from the CO, although I didn't have any success with a cache in this series on the southern side a couple of months ago. It appears that that success (or lack of) continued to this cache, and after searching through a few tree forks, I think I managed to find the correct tree that had a hollow nook and required some reach at extracting a container from it (as mentioned in recent/previous logs). I had a good look in there today, and no cache was found, so my hunch is that this cache has been collected and removed. Thanks anyway AmbulareSimia for the cache placement.

Somewhere, somehow this archived effort found it's way into one of my various 'to-do' lists. Today I only loaded a very specific GPX into my GPSr and heading home from Redcliffe I decided to take a wonky route home to see something different and hopefully find this little icon.
It's always nice to take the scenic route - but I know this would have been a silly idea on a weekday as it was late afternoon. I got close and parked safely down a sidestreet. GPSr and pen in hand, I toddled off. I wasn't overly thrilled with where the GPSr was pointing, but a lad has gotta do - find the geocaches that don't want to be found.
I headed for a likely spot, peered in and holy moly! Thar she blows! I grabbed the container out and plopped myself on the path. I always like a forgotten find and so took a photo or two. I went to add my name when I saw.. it has been found.. TODAY!. Gee, what are the chances of that!?
Oh well, I scrawled my name right there on the next line and rehid it exactly as found. It was in great condition too - very dry and clean inside. Despite being archived, I have always enjoyed the finds and the premise of this series. TFTC AmbulareSimia, this one still lives on

Out for a day of caching on the Northside and this was a cache that I had seen on a Bookmark list, and there was no indication that the container had actually been removed. So thought I would take a look for it.
So I did a drive by to survey the area and then pulled up along the street and read the information to be sure I would be looking in the right spot. So I rolled to a stop by my selected target and jumped out of the car and reach my hand in to be rewarded with the container.
It is nice to find one quite quick.

As there has been either no response from the cache owner, no cache to find or log to sign, or it has been a number of months since the last owner note I am archiving this cache to keep from continually showing up in search lists and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements.
If you wish to repair/replace/make available the cache sometime in the near future (next 30 days), just contact a reviewer (by email), and assuming it meets the current guidelines, the reviewer will be happy to unarchive it.
Should you replace the cache after 30 days has passed please create a new cache listing so it can be reviewed as a new cache.

Oops. just about out of power! Have to check the hint and go with that and not gps. Aha. There it is.tftc.
Light fading rapidly, geodaughter found it whilst I was still looking in tree a few paces away!! TFTC
Looking a bit further at first but then went to the right tree with lots of space in the middle.
Goldielover was excited that a muggle told her where the cache was. Good to see friendly neighbors.

Found with stairman1. It's amazing who knows where caches are . I got out of the car and a muggle neighbour stuck his head out of the window and said "It's in the tree up there" Sure enough it was there. . Signed the name and waved goodbye to the neighbour as we headed off. TFTC
Back in daylight and soon spotted what I needed. Don't know how I missed it last time except I must have become obsessed with the wrong tree! Another photo taken to add to the set: must be getting very close now. TFTC once again.
First geocaching we've done for a long time, the bus loop sounds a great idea. Just need to find the time to do the rest. Thanks.
One of three caches I found while on an afternoon jog.
It was after dusk when I came across this one, but I managed to find it by the light of my iPhone. Not too many Muggles--just the odd car passing here and there. TNLN SL. TFTC!

Late at night, tried to find it with minimal light. Felt rather exposed in front of the house and in car lights. Just couldn't feel something likely; hope to return another day. Oh well, at least I claimed Brookside today at long last.
Found after a previous DNF, grabbed the clue and kept runnin'.
Hopefully we'll finish the lot one day!

Find #831 at 14:15.
Another cache that we'd previously DNFed (and forgotten to log) while it was MIA. It was easy this time.
Noted the clue; also noticed that the clue had "GCL #7" written on it [?][?]
TFTC, Mrs Simia -- maybe one day we'll get around to completing the series

I have marked this series of caches to watch (individually and the last in the series) as I have been dying to do this series for a long time but have been too scared because of the two that are temporarily disabled. I now fear asking the owner as I’ve just had a number of these series canned on me when I’ve done that.
this was my first WHN cache, i'll probably do #1 last hehehe
quick find on my bike, had a "rest" while I waited for traffic to subside.

Another GCL in a tree - they're everywhere, they're everywhere!
Don't think we have done enough to get close to a final, but we have collected a few this week.
Thanks, Robmc.

We have been slowly but surely picking up caches in this GCL series during the week. We know we will not find them all but they have been quite bold urban hides and a welcome addition to our number hunting this week.
Thanks
Thanks
I think I could almost reach this cache without leaving the car. A nice easy drive by.

Quick run to beat the oncoming rain. Received stares from Muggle returning home. Geokids tried to play it cool. Were we found out? Who knows. Signed log and continued on our way. tftc AmbulareSimia

2nd of 2 finds today at 12:45:00 PM.
In between house inspections I made the journey to find this cache. It was a park and grab as I could spot the cache from the car. I had to wait for the neighbours to drive away before I could retrieve it. I quickly retrieved the cache, signed the log book and replaced it before I was caught.
Second of the series. I'll finish it eventually.

Noticed that this one was in action again so off we went for a quick find exactly where we had been looking previously.
After getting up early for the Anzac Day dawn service in town, my daughter and I had 30 minutes to spare waiting for our favorite cafe in Nundah village to open for breakfast.
This cache was the closest. Collected the clue. All in good condition. SL.TNLN.

Sorry for the delay in replacement fellow cachers - have been travelling overseas. This will be back in place today.
Another muggled cache in this series... is this going to be replaced or am I going to be able to get the clue from someone please
Friendly neighbour pointed out the tree after watching me scratch around. I think he's well versed in this one according to his history of sneeky people with GPS thingy's. Looks like Mr Muggles has well and truly moved it on.
Not today. Searched for quite a while in GZ. I thing Mr Muggle stole it. Anyway Thanks AmbulareSimia

Relogging this under individual account, previously a member of Gaz'n'Kab account.
Nice quick find this afternoon, we had to park a little further down from GZ and walk back to the obvious hiding spot.

Finally, another one off the GCL series list. Still a few to get to. Started this series in earnest a few months ago - planned on doing it all in one day, and ehre I am six months or so later passing the half way mark and no plans yet for the rest.
Good thing I kept all my notes somewhere safe - must put them into GSAK methinks now that I've got it .... hmmm

Quick grab on the way home.
Friendly neighbour was keen to help me find the 'GPS thingy'.

Nice easy find on a quiet Sunday afternoon. I love the idea of this series I will have to do the full circuit when I have a spare day. TFTC
The cache was one of 107 finds during a three day visit to Brisbane where it was work during the day and caching during the night.
It was all quiet in the street tonight so I was able to retrieve the cache and sign the log with no muggle interuptions. Managed to get a quite a few of the GCL series during the few days. Clue noted and cache rehidden.

Found with Geo-Son this morning. Geocoin is not in cache, removed foodstuffs from cache.
If you were quick you just might be able to get off the bus, find it, and get back on. Maybe a quick chat to the driver if he is a little ahead of schedule?
Found on approach, but then a group of schoolboy muggles came around the corner, so I had to do the awkward on my phone at the side of a surburban street thing. They walked on by and I quickly signed the log, left a geocoin and went on my way. TFTC
=) this was fun tonight, had to use extreme stealth as a couple where cooking and looking out every now and again out their kitchen window straight at GZ ... replaced without anyone noticing ... TFTC =)
On a previous visit, there was a neighbour far too close, today though, no one, so was able to get the next clue!!

Pleased to find the cache on a really nice holiday in Brisbane & Gold Coast with geocacher Barri-Ster. Found the cache quite quickly. SL Thanks for the cache.
Found on the way to do some christmas shopping and haven't been able to electronically log til now

I knew this area well when I was younger. I used to catch the Wavell Heights 40 or 42 buses home from school. I found the co-ords slightly (about 30 feet) out but I was using iPhone so who knows. The hint made everything clear. What a pleasant street, still a lovely area and not so far out of town as it was once upon a time. I noted the clue and will gradually do the rest of the series. Great idea for a series of caches, Monkey Man. [^] Oh and I didn't walk like a monkey while I was doing the cache
This was the second cache of 14 for the day, on what turned out to be a rather sunny day out caching. Another one in the series done, I have a feeling this series may take me a few more trips. My thanks to AmbulareSimia for the cache.
Found it (09:50) today while on way to A Rebellious Brunch event cache..

A quick find for me today after 1/2 days work just around the corner. Even enough room to park the truck nearby! I'll have to work on the other 10 in the series now. Might have to do the bus trip i think. TNLN Thanks AmbulareSimia
Tough spot this one. Pulled all sorts of strings to locate it! Found no problem, replaced then checked 1 hour later and it's all good.

I was supposed to be going straight to work to play catch-up, but had already given in to the temptation of that sweet proximity alert once, so did a quick time calculation and figured I'd still beat the boss there. Felt a little exposed but didn't really see anyone. TFTH
