Logs
As there's been no cache to find or log to sign for months, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the near future (next 30 days), just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.
This cache will be upgraded soon. The new container is being designed and built as we speak.
Found the spot. But not the cache still logging a find nice location thanks for cache location
Yes indeed. The cache hiding sport has been removed, and the cache container is missing. This will need a rethink. Good thing holidays are coming up. We'll be back in business as soon as possible
Another DNF to add to the list. We think the recent work that has been done to the area may have led to the cache being removed. We think we found where the sign once was and can supply some pictures if you would like them. We think this one needs checking.
We were down the Central Coast for a weekend of caching. This is a great place and we have friends who have stayed at the lighthouse - but it was to bring us no joy today. There were plenty of muggles around, but in between them we were able to search and search and search.... there was nothing that matched the clues and we couldn't find any sign of the cache.
Great views, couldn't find it, disappointing for our first adventure. Lots and lots of muggles around.
We were staying at the caravan park so had to check this one out. Great spot, easy find but boy, was it windy. TFTC.
I just love lighthouses. This is a classic- the kind you see on postcards. I was here as the sun was setting and the light was about to do it's stuff. On a more serious note, that cache is not going anywhere. Lucky I had my multi tool for extraction. Loved the wave cut platform. There is an earth cache in that up the road Clear skies.
Found the bench, found the hint, searched everything for more than an hour but couldn't find the cache. Lots of muggles made it harder too. Views were great nevertheless.
Took some time with this one. Lots of muggles around then when we finally had the cache in hand the dreaded pen not working trick. To far to walk back to the car so a bit of time fixing pen then muggles everywhere again. Great spot and Mrs geo took the spare time to take lots of photos

pretty quick find if u use the glues, didn't even have garmin with us . beautiful views. lots of muggles...thanks six stars
Reperio at 1700. Having only visited my first lighthouse cache this year in WA, it was great to visit this one today. Plenty of muggles around, but the cache was out of their line of sight...and quickly found. The lighthouse looks in amazing condition for it's age. Fantastic location.
Gratias.

A lovely vista for a cache, had to wait for a few groups of muggles to move on, a quick find after that. Was a good introduction to the hobby for new co-cacher DanTheMan74!

Visiting Toukley for a weekend of Square Dancing. During the hot humid Saturday afternoon brought two muggle friends Glen and Wendy out to this cache.
As has been noted the log if falling apart, but found a little bit of paper to sign my name on.

On this hot Saturday, it was a lovely walk, a great view and a very easy to find cache.
Extracting the cache wasn't so easy however ... and the log book definitely needs to be replaced!

No probs finding it this time. 8am and no muggles around. Didn't write on the log as it was too messed up.
Never been out to the light house before. What agreat place, thanks for bringing me here. Swaggers
Saw the last few log ins mentioning the state of the log. Went on a maintenance run, fixing this one and upgrading the container at another. Should be all good for this one. Sorry to those that found the log un-enterable.
I was heading down to Gosford to watch the Jets Play the Mariners (but we won't talk about that) and called in here on the way. Nice spot even while the weather began to turn nasty. Signed the outside of the log scroll as it was not able to unroll.
Thanks.
Thanks.
Lovely walk on track to gz and wow amazing view sea and wave alot... found it as very well but need repair new one of lognote because worn out lognote... thanks
Nice spot. Have stayed at the lighthouse in the past. Lovely. Sad about the log book though.

Found after a lovely early morning walk on nearby Soldiers Beach. Have never been to the lighthouse before so thanks for taking me to this beautiful location, TFTC
I tried for a while for this one. Based on the clue I thought I knew exactly where it was but could not grab anything.
This cache is in a great location, and the lighthouse tour was well worth taking. There were so many of us that we had to do the tour in 2 groups, giving me the chance to find this cache two times in one afternoon as I showed about 27 muggles how caching works. Of course some of the muggles had been on previous finds elsewhere, but most were fairly new to our scout group and thus had no idea what this sport is about. A couple of them are likely to get involved themselves too.
This container was nicely hidden, though I did resort to the clue to work it out, as the options seemed too varied to start with. the log is wearing out, rather than running out of space.
Thanks.

Beautiful day, great spot.. Geo-daughter managed to get this one without to much trouble.. SL TFTC
Just remember "follow the clues" and you will find the cache. Great views and you can walk along the beach.
Wow what a beautiful spot. Have never been here before. Yes the clues did help and it was a quick find. Many thanks
Pretty quick find if you use the clues! Great views, but wow look at that rain cloud coming my way!! Oh Crap! Run for it!!! TFTC
Found at 1245. Great place for a cache, had to dodge a few muggles as this place is very popular. Thanks Six_Stars.
I really love a cache site with a view, and they don't get much better than this! What's more you can hire the light house to stay in for weekends COOL!
Thanks for bringing me here, the cache was right where it should be I just had to release it from it's hide so to speak

Found by Mary & David at 0820. What superb views. We counted 22 ships lying like a necklace across the horizon, waiting to be filled with coal. Nothing like the hypnotic sound of the waves to soothe the soul. A great place. Interesting cache notes too. Our thanks to Six Stars.
Great spot, found with the kids today. Plenty of muggles about especially being a public holiday. Had to use the hint to find it.
Found it quickly whilst on a walk with BikiGanoo.
Previous finder had really tucked it away tightly!!!! Had a job retrieving it.

Found second time round, couldn't find it yesterday as I didn't want to get down the stairs with a broken leg. Went this morning with the three year-old and five year-old and cache was quickly in hand.

A beautiful location. We were staying nearby with friends who took us out for the afternoon and showed us the area, which was just lovely. I threw my GPS into my bag when we were heading out the door even though I didn't know where we were going (doesn't hurt to be prepared)... when we pulled up to the lighthouse I turned it on and thought I wonder if...and sure enough just a short distance away! It was also the friends' introduction to geocaching, and needless to say, the child was most keen. A top little cache too. Thanks very much, Six Stars.
*305* at 10:53, our first Australian geocache, perfectly hidden, thanks a lot, we tried to find it for half an hour

What a great location...... my Geowife and two muggle friends stayed at the Lighthouse accommodation for the weekend, so this was the first find for us in the area.
Muggle friend, GeoJohn and I soon had the cache in hand, signed log and returned same.
Think we may have a new convert to Geocaching ............
Thanks ........ Six_Stars ........ GazMag

Also my first ever cache!
Was familiar with the spot though, so getting there was no problem, dodging muggles while looking was the hard part.
Finally found it though, and signed the log.
Had a great time! TFTC!

My first cache.Despite looking within inches of the cashe, did need to decrypt the clue for confirmation before managing to find it. Got to practice looking nonchalant as a seemingly endless stream of photographers took advantage of the amazing view. Good fun.

Called in here whilst out caching for the day with TheWobblys.
I have been here many times before so we made this the lunchtime stop.
Had some lunch at the lighthouse and then the kids went for a swim.
That was the end of the day geocaching.
This is a great spot and should have had a cache long ago.
Well done Six Stars.

It's always hard to beat the Shifters and Pesky to a FTF. We found this one fairly quickly with no-one around on such a hot morning. Loved the container, I wonder where it came from? TNLN, thanks for another good hide Six Stars.
We were so close to GZ, but not able to beat those shifty shifters to a FTF!
having not packed our caching gear, no GPS, compass, electronic cache listings, anything
it was a bit of a guess, when shifters let it sliop that it was only 70m to GZ.
The race was on. Our team ( Myself, my wife and 6 y.o daughter) raced ahead in an attempt to find the cache. we didnt even know what size we were looking for!!!
ad many a liakely spot was checked
but alas we were not able to come up with the goods. even after being lead to the right spot by the shifters when they caught up with us.
thanks for the cache, and the walk out to somewhere our family had not been before.
it took us longer to get the girls off the beach thatn it did to find ans sign the logbook

While sitting at home and planning a trip to Canberra with Pesky Geomonkey we saw the 'published' notification and decided to head out and locate the cache.
As we approached GZ it was a race for the FTF between Pesky and Mr and Mrs Shifter, thankfully Mr Shifter came up with the cache first.
Mrs Pesky took the mini cachers to the rock ledge to explore while the log signing duties were done, which they enjoyed.
Thanks for the hide.
