My family and I have been at a hotel around the corner so I took the chance to grab another cache this morning. It was fairly easy to find the cache. I noticed that some people havent thought about was this the right cache to put trackables in. The one listed in the cache for some reason only the top half of the trackable has been removed. I did discover the playing card but I am going to leave it here. Great little area to soak in the first rays of spring and the cache gave me some extra fuel for Cosmic Quest as well as keep my geocaching streak alive. TFTC

Found this one nice and quickly as per the hint, before heading to Roosters vs Cowboys No trackable unfortunately but cool cache and container TFTC (first cache in Sydney CBD)

This was the first of five caches I found today.I was here the other day but the park was occupied so I moved on.This morning it was raining so the park was empty. A resident magpie sung to me and hopped real close when I was signing the log, clearly being fed by a local frequenting the park. The cache itself was discovered very quickly because well, it was just sitting there on the ledge visible to anyone.......who has ducked under the walkway. I guess not many people do that, so it just sits there geo label sitting proud. Thanks for hiding a cache here and in doing so bringing me to discover somewhere I might never have found.

Sydney trip for Egyptian Exhibition Day 3. Having visited the fantastic Egyptian exhibition yesterday, I was heading home today. I had most of the day to wander around town before heading off in the afternoon back to Canberra. My walk today took me over the bridge into Darling Harbour and up the hill beyond to Ultimo. There was a bit of a loop around the back end of Darling Harbor before finding lunch at a tiny cafe in a back street. I then headed to the east of the station for a few caches before finding a place to sit and rest my feet till it was time to get on the train. A long few days, but it has been fun.This tiny little park was empty and I saw what was needed quickly. Mit 37 Geocachern, aus Deutschland, Dnemark, Luxemburg und der Schweiz, ging es auf groe Reise. Drei Wochen nach Australien und Neuseeland, beginnend mit einem Zwischenstopp in Doha in Katar. So lange und so weit weg von zu Hause war ich noch nie. Eine aufregende Zeit.Beim Geocaching lag der Focus auf viele unterschiedliche Cachetypen, aber auch besondere Wertungen, Challenges und besonders ein paar sehr alte Caches aus den Jahren 2000 und 2001. Aber auch natrlich ganz besonders die Geocaches, die zu Fu vom Hotel aus gut erreichbar waren.Natrlich wurde stand aber nicht nur das Geocaching im Mittelpunkt, sondern auch die Sehenswrdigkeiten der einzelnen Stationen, die wir besuchten, verdienten ihre Aufmerksamkeit.In die Logbcher trugen wir uns mit unserem Teamnamen "Downunder 2024" ein, Logbuchplatz sparend und effizient.Es war eine ganz besondere Reise im groen Team, das auch sehr viel Spa gemacht hat.Heute besuchten wir die Gegenden rund um Sydney. Aufgrund der Vielzahl der Caches reicht es berwiegend nur zu einem Einheitslog, fr den ich mich bei den unterschiedlichen Ownern hiermit schon mal entschuldigen mchte.Danke fr diesen Geocache. Together with 36 other geocachers, the KiSt team undertook a very long trip to Australia ???? and New Zealand ???? for three weeks.
