Logs
5 DNF's in a row, last found in June 2013 and CO hasn't been online since May 2013. This needs a cache check or needs to be archived please.
Came past to try for this today and didn't check the logs first. Searched a few good spots and even expanded my search, but nothing after 20 mins. Then on seeing the other 4 DNF's in July, I'm starting to think this might be gone and needs checking. Thanx anyway.
Poked and prodded in all the likely spots, and a few extra unlikely ones, but came up empty handed.
Out for a stroll in the botanical gardens today with Crikey. Looked all over for this one, but could not find the cache. Thinking this one might be muggled again, as we found a nail in a suspicious spot with nothing on it.
Looked in every place in all trees around but still couldn't find any trace of a cache
A beautiful quiet area in the middle of so much unquiet. We really enjoyed our first wander around the Gardens today. TFTC the hermits.
My wife and I love Rosser Park, we even got married here.
I passed a couple of muggles on the way to GZ but had a free run while I was there. LSTSSL. TFTC thehermits

Hello everyone
We have recently done some house keeping and the cache is now fully operational again after a recent muggle. Please enjoy your visit, it really is a delightful place.

As the rain started to fall we only came up with a lid in the crook of a tree. Checked nearby locations but gave up.
No luck here. I searched a few trees and found a lid from a container, but nothing else. I was checking the terrain rating when a passing gardener asked me if I was looking for the geocache thingy. It seems the workers have found it on the ground a few times with the contents strewn about. The gardener thought it may have been thrown out last time ;-/
this log was very wet so i had to be careful in relation to logging my vist but i eventually got it. TFTC
An enjoyable walk and a good traditional hiding place for this one. Container a bit damp but ok. TFTC
Wow first cache found with some water in it. Emptied out as best I could and rehid
. Enjoying the walk

Enjoying exploring this lovely garden. Surprising number of muggles out this early in the morning walking dogss, doing tai chi and just enjoying. We have just been warned about attack crows further along. NINO TFTC
I wish we had beautiful green areas like this one, sigh! Thanks for bringing myself and geomate goodlookerz to this idyllic spot
20th find of 69 found in during the week of my holidays on the Gold Coast.
This place was absolutely swamped with Council muggles doing cleaning, landscaping, sweeping and a lot of reversing in their little golf cart thingies - I really thought I was going to have problems as I swooped in on my bike. But no problems at all over here away from all the real activity. Cache quickly to hand and ready to move onto the next one.
Thanks for placing this cache, thehermits. Found in good condition.

After a nice, long stroll past the golf course, Noo82 and I came to the cache. Didn't realise the the Botanical Gardens extended this far! Thanks for bringing us to this nice area.
I've never been over in this part of the gardens before, the walk across was lovely.
There were a few muggles about with the children because it was such a beautiful day.
KateRX was the one who again made the find on this one. The log was terribly wet, our pen only just managed to sign.

Down South dropping Geo Girl No1 and her friend to Seaworld and Geo Mum and Geo Girl Youngest were unavailable so I was flying solo in my new favortie game.
I have picked up quite a few Aussie Liahona's but there are still quite a few in this area so it looks like I might pick up a few more today.
It was a lovely day for a stroll so once I chose the best parking area I heade off up the path.
Muggle walkers were in the general area and golfers on the fairway but none really created any problem.
The cache was quickly found but not so quickly replaced as the muggles walked closer but all was returned safely.
Unfortunately the contents were very damp and even a bit muddy, I removed a sodden booklet and dried the interior as best I could but didn't have a spare log book to replace the soggy one.
I recommend a bit of TLC on this one please.
Thanks Hermits TFTC SL TNLN

Didn't realise there were so many scenic pathways on the GCoast - container and log was a bit damp - unfortunately didn't have a spare log
Found with Virga 13 & Geojen while walking in the park. What a great place for a walk. TFTC
Four plus two plus many more. Thanks for taking us to this part of the Gardens. Yorki & hound kept us company for the finding of this cache.

This cache is in urgent need of attention. Logbook is soaked and contents are very muddy.

This was our very first find so TFTC. Very exciting. Everything soaked and dirty though. The log still ok but couldnt write in it.
Couldn't do this last year because of works being done, but made it this year. Enjoyed the walk around the gardens. As mentioned in previous logs the cache is very wet. TNLNSL TFTC
As we are running out of GC within walking distance we hired some bikes and widenend our search circle.
Beautiful park, lots of dogs. Easy find but log and contents were soaking wet, might need some attention. Container does not seem to lock properly. TNLNSL, TFTC thehermits.

A quick dash over here from another nearby cache and had to wait until some nearby muggles were looking away before I could grab this one. Hidden in the obvious spot, but a great parklands here indeed. TFTC.
TFTC thehermits!
Nice evening walk after conference. Cache was VERY exposed so I covered with some additional cover. Nice night for it (see pic)

Didn't write in log as forgot a pen but log book and contEnts rather damp. Log needs maintenance.lovely spot and will be back to do more. Over on holiday from NZ and was caching with a 5 and 3 year old. Hot dat temp 32 degrees.
Cache was out in the open and opened. Placed all back together and rehide well.
After hiking across the park from nearby cache....
Original path fenced off as it is upgraded so we arrived courtesy of the long way around the end & back up to cache..
cache was relatively exposed so after signing we replaced with additional at hand camo to make it less noticeable
TNLNSL
Thanks thehermits for the cache

The area is fenced off while more footpaths are laid through the area but, there is a small gap at the far end that Kaisho53 used to gain access to GZ. We stayed close to the back as we approached so we were out of sight, not that there was anyone around...
At GZ the container was in plain sight and obviously an easy find... Once we had sorted the logging business out, we added a little natural camo to help conceal it. Wouldn't want those tradie muggles getting their hands on a spare lunch box now would we...
Cheers thehermits.

Can not get to this one as the area is closed by the Council, lots of work going on.
Didnt really get the clue and cache was too easy to see from a distance so replaced it with a little more camo at same location. Cheers. tftc
We were worried about approaching from the wrong area but it seems we could get through the way we went. Cache is fine. Plenty of wonderful birdlife around today and a lovely area. Thanks thehermits
I was a little concerned when I had entered the gardens in th car and this one was still a good distance away. Walking in the rain was not going to be fun. Thankfully parking was attained about 280m from GZ. On the way, I was greeted with the honking of a pair of black swans. Got to GZ eventually and found the cache in good condition. TFTC thehermits
Nice easy find this one , gotta be careful where you shove your hands into.
A huge cane toad jump out right on my hand and fighten the life out of me lol TFTC 2nd for that afternoon

I had a nice walk to GZ through the gardens - Thanks for bringing me here and thanks for the cache.
Easy find. But when we got there we found that the containers lid had fallen off but we found it nearby. Contents is very wet. Then when we were writing on it a muggle family came and they were talking quietly and looking around suspiciously at that tree and we thought they had to be looking for the cache. So we hesitated but asked anyway "are you looking for a geocache?" but unfortunately he had no idea what we were talking about and said that they were just admiring the tree. Out of all the trees why did they pick that one. TFTC
After living on the Goldie for 5 years and then moving to the sunshine coast took a trip back to visit rellies to finally visit this beautiful gardens

Finally, a nice, sunny day after what seems like weeks of rain! What else to do but head off to the gardens and enjoy the spring blooms with a spot of caching just to keep things interesting. Ground is still very wet in places but the cache nice and dry.
Thanks for the cache.

Interstate conference means out of hours geocaching!
According to my hotel room in Royal Pines, this was only 530 metres away. A night walk to the fence declared a 2.3k walk-a-round to get this and the other nearby caches. Dropped off a Geocoin that needed some miles.

12th for the day and 24th for the trip so far. Made the walk across the gardens to find this one with the kids. Found by my 6yo Jasmine who was very excited. On the way back, got swooped by a nesting bird. My 4yo son James found this hilarious and chased it around while it was chasing him.... TFTC.
Nice Botanical Gardens here, but I don't know about an oasis.... Just hectares of short grass here! Bit bare really... Cache found OK though. Thanks to thehermits for the cache.
This was a nice walk across the grass to the edges of the golf course.
Still pretty early in the day and just a few power walkers about.
Thanks to thehermits

Took the geodog to enjoy a walk in this lovely park on this crispy winter's afternoon. Many changes since my wife and I had our wedding photos here 10 years ago. Golfers on the other side of the fence paid us no attention. TFTC TNLN
First time to the gardens for geodad, rest of geofamily have visited before. Such a quiet spot today. Left golf ball (appropiate) and took rubber. SL TFTC
Lots of people out today. Watch a dog exercising his owner. Very amusing. TFTC
Lots of muggle activity today. We enjoyed the walk, great area and well maintained. TFTC
Popped by for a morning walk. Fab bird life including a family of White Herons.

Found it with a group of co-workers on a business trip. It was there first exposure to geocaching!
Rode the geocycle to this one. Parked right at GZ and there was the cache [^]. TN/LN/SL had to wait for a muggle to pass before returning the cache, so sat and enjoyed the peace and quite for a while.
Very east find, was slightly exposed. Managed to cover it a bit better.

Was happy to find this nice and easy today TFTC did not take anything only new to this game and should take a few items to swap whilst there so geokid can enjoy lots of interesting items in this one.
Never been to this botanical gardens before, so enjoyed having a look around. Strolled over to GZ and found quite quickly as it was a bit exposed. Covered over a bit better.
