I was in the National Park for a few days, celebrating my little sister's wedding. While all the younger ones were staggering about on the second day after overindulging, and cooling off in Sussex Inlet I decided to go for a drive around the park for a few caches, and air-conditioning! I am truly confused with the constantly changing weather.I took the advice regarding the inaccurate coordinates and soon found the cache. Thanks for the cache.
Found it after our ride across the inlet. Thank you to Julie at Christian’s Minde for permission to use their wharf. Off to Cave Beach now (on foot). TFTC, it took a little searching to find
Out for a drive. Quick find thanks. Noisy Plover yelling at us. Not sure where her nest is. No pen so took a photo of log
Great find TFTC. Coords were off and as i had given up, walked back to the car and spotted it staring me in the face.
Came here with my mate, took us longer to find than it probably should've lmao. My GPS was way off and had me up at the fence. Logbook has been soaked by rain and needs replacing. Nice spot though, TFTC!
GeoMum spotted it straight away, not sure if geoboy13 was impressed or annoyed that he didn’t find it first, haha. Thanks for getting out and exploring on a warm sunny day. Tftc
Got it! I finally got it! I grew up in Sussex and was living there when I first got into Geocaching a decade ago! Finally managed to find the time to head out and grab this annoying little haven’t-found-it-yet on my Geocaching map today
I was expecting to find the GZ disguised as a little echidna toy or something, so when I found it I was a little surprised, had me hanging out to dry, so to speak ;p
Thanks for the cache Rock-Hopper! Glad to finally find this one!

Finally got to this spot. Adventuring with Geo buddy before she goes to NZ. Wow what an amazing spot. Stopped by the Basin for a picnic lunch and then went on for more exploring. TFTC catch up soon Rock Hopper.
#6647 12th for today
A short 2 night trip down the coast to Husky & surrounds to help some friends celebrate their new campervan. I've been down this way a few times, so I went a bit further afield this trip. Highlight was definitely the caches and sights in Booderee National Park - just stunning.
I used to come to Sussex Inlet as a kid on holidays, but never made it over this side. Great to finally get here.
Thanks Rock-hopper

#300 - Interesting driving to cache without the luxury of a tarred road. Once we arrive near GZ, the GPS was acting up, so we had to rely on our experience to search for the cache. Cache was soon in hand when we had widen the search from where the GPS had taken us. It was just hanging around.

The original echidna cache has disappeared, so cache has been temporarily replaced with bison tube until I can find another echidna.
Booderee National Park is still closed, so no access to this cache. It will have to stay Disabled till the park is re-opened.
Sorry, but I'm disabling all my caches while this COVID 19 lockdown is in place. Hopefully we'll all be able to be out and about before too long.
Cute little cache. Pulled back up along the wrong a nice little spot we passed on the way in and had a lovely little picnic and watched the sunset. Perfect spot I highly recommend a little stop there on the way back through. TFTC!
Original Thursday plans were abandoned, so I made new plans to catch up with a friend in Sanctuary Point. After exploring a few hotspots, I decided to come back and clean out the caches in the area! Most caches were found easily and in good condition - Thanks to the Cache Owners for their hides.
Nothing misleading about this D1.5 - the cache was easily located with the assistance of the hint. Thanks For The Cache Rock-Hopper

Finally. Either this has been moved or last time my gps was having a conniption. I was about 100m out last time. Now an easy park and grab. Good diversion for when the dive site is blown out. Thanks
Found it, 8/6/19 after quite a comprehensive search, very challenging but glad to have it in the bag.
We had a morning paddle up the river to where our friends were staying in a cabin. Coincidentally just across the way from this cache. A quick stop before crossing back over the river. The children enjoyed the cache guardian. Thanks for the cache and the effort to maintain it.
Went via boat to find, mozzies were out. Kids found quickly once the tree (previous posted pic) was located. TFTC.
Tftc it is17 metres off GZ what a cutie... we forgot to bring a pen so couldn't sign log.. hope the pic is evidence enough!
Super cute, and a nice simple find, the log a little wet, nothing too damaged though. Cover up again! Thanks
Thanks IamCoust, I have deleted JessMaree666's found logs on my caches. Wonder what fun anyone gets from armchair logging, they need to get out more!!
jess_marree666 appears to be an armchair logger. They were in Egypt only a few days ago. Suggest this log, and every other one of their logs is false.
last weeks fire in the nat park prevented us from finding the caches there so we had an ice cream and went exploring along dirt roads. found a couple of more drop in points for a kayak trip of the future, wind was way to strong to bother today, particularly since we'd already gotten caught in it out in the bay.
had a laugh when we spotted the cache container. we had seen the real thing a few times this weekend. tftc Rock-hopper

A quick find on an early mornings caching run. Staying in Erowal Bay for a few days R&R. Two locals out walking their dogs, one knew about the cache, the other now does as well (the one who's property is adjacent to GZ). Both ok with it, so all remains good. TNLNSL TFTC
Yes, unfortunately the container is broken, so I'm on the search for something similar. In the meantime, it's still in the game, as the internal log container is still OK.
Continued on from Literally Littoral to this cache. Spotted the cute cache only to find the back has broken off. Signed log and put it back with the pieces under it. Needs a little TLC. A fav from us. TFTC

A lovely day for a driving lesson for my son. This was the first cache stop of 5 in Jervis Bay as part of a long round trip from Canberra. Quickly found. TFTC.

Found with my nephews while on family holiday. The 6-year-old made the find and was very pleased with himself! Very cute camo. ) TFTC!
Rocked up by boat and kayak and made our way round to the spot. Nice easy find with ham228. Enjoyed the camo! Tftc!
Ran the gauntlet passed the cranky residents to get to this cache. Probably not the best idea to come from the water but found it eventually. Thanks for the cache, great find.
After attempting this one by water in December 2013 & being moved on by a cranky resident..... We have returned by land to make the find today. While looking @ the GPS to work out general direction... Geokids yelled out "found it" - they've got their eye in today. Loved the hide. Favourite point from us given we've done this one both ways. Thanks for the adventure!
TFTC have added as a favorite for cutest camouflage although the trees do seem to play havoc with the coords SL
Great drive in with lots of variety. The catching of the Echidna wasn't too difficult. TFTC
Nice cache! Sorry I was unable to sign the notebook, forgot my pen on the boat. Thank you very much
Was visiting my brother who lives in this amazing place, cache was almost outside his front driveway. A little searching to find it, but excellent spot and a great cache. Signed note paper and returned. TFTC
I checked the cache today, and it was visible as I approached GZ. Yes, there are felled trees in the vicinity, and clearing has been done, but the cache was still obviously there, near a significant feature and not on private property. [:(!]
Anyway, I've moved it to an easier location, and updated the co-ords.

Took boat across inlet and walked to GZ. All of the trees are being cleared. No sign of cache. It may have been bulldozed. ;(
Looks like I'd better get out there and check it again soon. Offline till I do.
Came by boat & snuck throu the trees between the 2 properties. Pretty sure we were at gz for this one but were interrupted by a cranky neighbour who told us to move along "area unsafe & we shouldnt be there as it's for the private properties use only"! We'll b back hopefully after the xmas grinch has moved on or the cache relocated closer to the water! We enjoyed the boat access option on this one
Gevonden op een mooie plek met overnachting

Lol we found the cache truly reflects its name. Couldn't write on the paper as we left our pen in our car. TFTC
Out and about with Rock-hopper today, we ended up driving here after a very nice lunch at Huskisson. Much to our mutual surprise there has been a huge amount of tree clearing here and GZ had us staring at an empty mound of dirt. Nearby was a tree familiar to RH and I'm happy to report finding the cache nestled in what seems to be its original location - despite the tree having been cut down and pushed a few metres away! I rescued two TBs (which oddly are not logged into this cache yet) and replaced the container at ground level behind the roots of the big fallen twin-trunked tree near GZ. TFTC!

if i was in the right location, it may be gone? lots of large trees have been knocked over and the gps put me on top of one
6848. [green]It was here - after paddling 13km that I realised that I had lost my car keys. Luckily FFP remembered hearing them at the nearby GCA cache. So after wandering in from the shore and making the quick find of the cute cache we paddled back to the previous find and FFP came up with the goods - a great relief. [/green]
[blue]Thanks for the cache Rock-hopper and the benda. [/blue]
