3 years 1 month and 1 day since this was last found, It is still in place. This place has seen rampaging water levels flow by in the nearby creek but still this keeps keeping on. Thanks for the archived cache. Signed in a small gap on the full log, 9 years after the signee in that slot beside it did. Cool as
On a morning mission with Burgo to find a few archived ones.
I dived straight in under the structure and soon had the nano in hand, it all seemed a bit too easy considering that it is almost 3 years since the last find.
Signed the log on top of an earlier water damaged entry.
Thanks for the cache

Out with Karicka to find some archived caches in the area and this one he found immediately 3 years since the last find. Cache and (full) log was in decent shape considering the length of time since the last find. TFTC
As a cache hider I am sick of negative comments. I am strictly only going to find for the foreseeable future. It's such a shame as my kids enjoy placing caches and reading the positive comments.
A quick find with the co-ordinates from a previous log. As already reported log is very full. TFTC.
Had a bit of a look, but the muggles across the road were starting to get suspicious, so I departed empty handed.
I will return and have a proper look at a more opportune time.

Took awhile to locate this one. Found the coordinates to be out by 30 metres. Used Team Jeddell's coordinates and they were spot on. Log book is full and needs replacing. TFTC {#236}.

After a very early start to the day attending the Dawn Service on the Strand we decided to grab a few caches before lunch.
It was good to finally have a find after 2 successive DNFs, a short search and the prize was soon in geoP's hand.
Log book is full and needs replacing, I had to sign over a faded entry.

Went to the GZ which put me on teh wrong side of the creek. Start to think a little outside the square and found the little critter. here are the Coords that worked for me:

Signed Log TFTC

My had to use instinct more than GPS for this one. Look for the logical place to hide.

Even though a dozen cachers have said the log is full no one has posted a "needs maintenance" log.
Well here it is.
Well here it is.
I'd dropped past here before but it had always been muggled out. Today I came by and it was thankfully free. The coords are way off as everyone notes but you need to concentrate on the most obvious object. I contorted my arm more than I needed and one of my arms does not tolerate contortion much. In the end it was simpler than I made it. Signed the very very full log in a little space and replaced.
Log needs replacing.
Thanks.

Just got log saying new log book required. Just placed new log book as I live around the corner. Thanks for the update Yurt.
Greetings from Oregon! Out for a sight-seeing drive with our Townsville friends. Coords were off, but we made the find after reading logs and trolling for a better place. T4T
Took a nice stroll to this cache but on arrival found the GPS was out by 10 metres. The likely hide was soon located thanks for the hint, signed the log but took nothing and left nothing, TFTC
This was our 4th cache in our caching run today - and we found it at around 10:13.
(So this is our 4789th total find.)
With all the good places to hide a decent cache, it's disappointing to just find a nano
PS the log is full!
Took: Nothing
Left: Nothing
Thanks AT502 for the hunt today.

After reading a previous log entry regarding the cache being located a short distance away from where their GPS was keen to take them, we followed this advice and quickly located the possible GZ.
So many possible hiding locations. Fortunately luck was on our side and after a brief time the cache container was located.
Thanks again AT502.

GPS had us 10m away on the other side of creek, but thought where would i put it and came up with the cache!

A nice day promted me to walk up from 'Walk the plank'.
I didn't need to contort my arm all as the cache was clearly visible to all.
I grabbed signed a blank spot and replaced with a little contortion to hide it a bit better.
Cheers and happy caching.

#18 This was sitting out in the open. No contorting necessary.
SL and put it back, with a little contorting.

No joy for me today. I could not handle the heat - and there were muggles getting about. I decided to bail on the area for another cooler day. TFTH.
finally my first find!!!
May be a little off coordinate wise as my etrex20 had me 10m away, log is not full, just counting backwards from opposite side, saves rolling log all the way out, just roll out enough to write in blank spot.
Good spot, now to find these others...

07.10 - Hopping from one to the next with ease. grabbed this after following the advice in the title ... Log is FULL. 4/11. T4TC.
Found this one after a reassessment. GZ may point to concrete bridge. Not at bridge. TFTC.
Found it No. 3901 ... barking dogs ... good co ords ... TNLN ... TFTC ammotech502
Third Ammotech for the day, but rain and kids (they were everywhere! On bikes, scooters and skateboard!) made us give it away without getting the other 4 we were aiming for on this trip. TFTC
Found this one reasonably quickly - just before we heading into a string of DNFs. Cheers Gav [9043]
Searching with MoneyDork & Rediguana. The kiwi's found it first - again. TFTC AmmoTech502
This one was a solo effort as the others sat in the car to cool off! (Just when i thought i was losing my touch ) It must have been close to going under water recently, but all is dry! Thanks AmmoTech502

This was a lucky find for me today With a quick dash to Townsville coming up, I managed to miss downloading the cache info from GC in time. No probs, the plan is to download the caches in Kalynda one by one to gsak and then to the gps. It all seemed to work but when I turned the gps on in sunny Queensland, there was only one cache showing But I did have a google map from geocaching australia with 8 showing, although on a fairly large scale.
Figuring I was pretty clever, I went on a tour of all the cache areas and looked for a spot I might have hidden micro cache if I was an Ammo Tech. It turns out I can't guess that sort of thing too well though, as I didn't find any of the caches except this one. But hey! I reckon this was a great find given my limited info!!
Thanks for the tour of Kalynda, there are some great little parks around and the jogging track is great.

Last find for the day, right where it should have been.
Townsville has more of this container per capita than anywhere else I have cached. Not sure that is a good thing!
You really have to wonder why the structure is here though. Site today contained a BMX, with no kids in sight.
Thanks

Indeed a strange item here but very useful as a cache hide! Found without difficulty thanks.
The Reluctant Companion pounced on this one while I was still getting organised. Thanks for the cache AmmoTech!
The last one I found for the evening. Or by then it was already early morning? Didn't take too long, circled it once and then looked at it from a different perspective.

Found 11:40am. Coordinates were a bit wayward. Guessed that it was in the general area, so we kept looking. Eventually found it by laying on my back and looking for it. There it is over there.
Saw many other cool things while I lay there. You should try it.

A bit of late night caching with a mate to introduce him to the sport ... Lucky he was there as I missed it!

I guess my personal preference against Nanos would continue here?
However, I guess anything much bigger would cause problems?

As we walked to GZ bits and pieces in the park made us go "what the". The cache itself was an easy locate.

Didn't contort, went in the easy way. Sometimes I hate nanos, but this was pretty good. TFTC SL
Finally the last in the area found with LittleMissT helping, don't know how I ever missed this one. TNLNSL TFTC
GPSr was slightly out for this one but logic prevailed and cache was soon in hand after a few contortions. TFTC AmmoTech502
Tried for this one back on Australia Day, but there was just way too much water around and the creek was in full flood. Not so today, very quick and easy pick-up before getting on the road for the next one.

GPS was spot on and the cache was soon in hand. The buildings around here are going up pretty quickly, so I guess my visit up here will see the area with even more house........and more caches I guess. Thanks for this one.
Easy find at lunchtime today, suprisingly quite neighbourhood. Thanks for the cache ammoTech502.TNLNSL.
I found this one battling a never ending swarm of the most vicious blood sucking ever encountered.
But really it was my own fault for being out after dark in the tropics without mosquito repellant and dressed in shorts t shirt and thongs. There is not enough daylight in a day for caching.
My GPSr was all over the place and about 5 meters out the whole trip. It must be something to do with the weather here as it is normally spot on everywhere else that I have been.

Had to be stealthy as it was a hot day & the locals had taken to sitting in their garages with the door up & watching the world go by which caused us to take a bit of time retriving this one after we located it. SL, TFTC.
2nd to find. Saw this one pop up last night however I decided to leave it as I have an unfair advantage of living in the area. Decided to grab this morning of my birthday and a find is a great way to start the day. Well done Fishabunga on your FTF well deserved.
Thanks Ammotech for the cache you do make us work at finding them. This is a nice spot which I once thought that would be a nice place for a cache. Thanks for your effort. I was also very surprised to see a few ducks near the bridge. TNLN SL
