Wasn't the best idea to head to this one barefoot but we got there in the end. Jo2022AUS with tougher feet than I got there first and grabbed the prize. Beautiful secluded beach here. Nice hide TFTCTrackable grabbed to head south to Victoria.
Its so beautiful beach and short walking. Found it. But very soaking in box. Thank you
Found this one back on the 21/7. Didnt take long to find thanks to @littlesqwakers! Littlesqwakers added her Trackables and Im pretty sure she took the whistle aswell ! Great spot the waters super pretty during winter
Trouve . Au dtour d'une petite ballade au bord de l'ocan. Thanks for the cache !
Thanks for the hide its a great spot.I actually ended up coming down from the carpark above it as its no longer closed for revegetation and there's a high quality staircase leading right down.I'm sure this was build after cache placement.Cache needs a new log current one is ruined by water damage.
I've escaped Canberra after all the mega fun and am up in Queensland for the week to have a holiday and grab a few caches to continue the streak while I'm at it!A walk in some pretty overcast conditions took me further south today as I picked up a few trads and AdLab locations along this section of the coast. With the tide coming in, I wasn't sure how my luck would go with approaching this cache.Fortunately, it wasn't quite high tide yet and I had some confidence that gz would be out of the way enough to visit safely anyway, so I hopped across the rocks in the wake of another guy who clambered up to the top of the large rock south of gz instead. He didn't seem especially interested in my antics, and with some good coordinates and cache page information, I was led straight to the hide.Things are definitely a bit weathered here as reported (possibly due to the nature of the container - this variant is the Achilles heel of the brand) although my pen managed to scrawl my name into the logbook regardless. Thanks to theyoung-1z for placing this here!
Our NEW ZEALAND - TASMANIA - AUSTRALIA JOURNEY takes us to beautiful places and provides us with an incredible number of wonderful moments and experiences.Occasionally we also visit a few GeoCaches along the way.During our stopover in Coolums Beach, we walked along the coast to these beautiful bays and beaches.... The logbook is unfortunately in very poor condition (wet and falling apart...! Cache owner has been informed). It was difficult to sign the guest book....Thank you for placing, maintaining and caring snapfish2 from SwitzerlandPS: Translated with the Deepl app
Found with Goldie lover and team. A magic day looking out at the whales. All good here with your cache. TFTC
Had an awesome walk along the beach and rocks recommend by a very cute local amazing spot guys, found with imprezzive tftc!!!!
A lovely day to travel the coast line with my travel buddy! ️ Second geo in the sunshine area! ️
Nice quick stop on our trip from WA to QLD and back to pick up our caravan and grab a few sneaky caches on the way.
Arrived in Coolum Beach a day early to pick up the van so thought it would be lovely to check out the ocean on the other side of Australia.... managed to find the only nudist breach in Coolum!! Thankfully it was a coolish day so not too many sunbathers!
We came from the beach so quick find at gz!
Thank you theyoung-1z for placing and maintaining Coolum Hide Away for us and others to find and enjoy

Used the break between the rain showers for a short walk along the beach. Real nice place, pretty quiet and you can hop around among the rocks. The cache was easy to find...
Thanks for showing this nice place and best regards from Germany!

Muggle65, Brislions and l had a really fun day caching up the Sunny Coast. We got perfect weather and nearly everything on our list. Thank you for the fun ??
Sunshine Coast was today target. I needed two caches up there for my next D/T loop. I found 16 caches and few AL waypoints. This one was next on the list. Signed the log and return it to the cache.

Out hunting on the Sunny Coast along with & Bris today. While stopping for a Macca’s snack we collected a couple of nearby caches.
Very happy to be visiting Coolum again. Thanks for bringing me to this spot. TFTC
theyoung-1z I found your cache Coolum Hide Away on 8/2/2023, 1:40 pm. This is my find 4726 and find # 5 today. Lovely walk along the rocks. Arrived at GZ and it wasn’t long before the cache was uncovered. Thanks for the cache, mate! TNSLLN
After hopping down the stairs, strolling along the beach and once again hopping across the rocks I was soon at GZ. Due to the nature of this cache having not so good co-ordinates, it was a systematic search, but one that soon gave up its prize! Thanks for hiding a cache here theyoung-1z!
What a fun find! Family day at the beach, got a few more people involved BYO PEN
Good spot! Forgot to bring a pen so I didn’t get to sign the log, despite the windy and showery weather I managed to find my way to the cache!

Out today for a bit of a run around he Sunny coast chasing oldies. Happy to have the delightful company of 1MinnieMoo and Fangsoki. After a couple of efforts this morning, and a nice lunch break, we pulled up safely and legally nearby here (sure we did) and wondered down to the beach and along to GZ. After being nearly mauled to death by a shitzu poodle ball of wet fur with a tongue we managed to make it o GZ and a quick find here today for us.
Thanks theyoung-1z for entertaining me at this location.

Pprime had a plan for today, and asked Fangsoki and I to join him. It involved grabbing some of the older caches on the Sunny Coast, a plan that I am always up for.
Checking the map, I knew which access we were after, although we may have been slightly directionally challenge for a moment or two once exiting the car.
A nice stroll down to the beach where we met a very sweet little puppy - it loved me, running up to say hello a couple of times, but barked at Pprime, much to my amusement.
With cache found quickly, it was then time to make our way back up all those stairs!! Of course Mr P had to show off and run up them.
Thanks for the cache theyoung-1z.

Found this a while ago, logging now.
Was out for the day with Smudgeycat D and we headed over here. Read the hint, which helped. What a great spot on a beautiful day near the beach.

Staying at Coolum for the week with Swellerfungus . Perfect weather, fabulous sunshine ️ and beach and plenty of caches to be found. A wander down to get coffee and then off to find a few caches.
Stairs down to the beach, yep and plenty of them. I tried counting them on my way back but lost count…my estimate is 70-90. Lovey little bay to swim in, only one family here at the moment.
Lots of clambering over rocks. Found a pencil ️, if container big enough I’d leave it in there, but just a little too small. Found a torch neatly packed in a box complete with spare battery…full of water . Came across a wheelie bin washed up on the rocks, covered in barnacles. Saw a decent size crab scrambling away and found a tiny cuttlefish, less than one inch.
Arrived at GZ and Swellerfungus made the find. Signed the log, replaced the cache and headed back to the car . On the way back we passed another couple heading towards the same area…wondered if they were cachers…..
Thanks for the hide.

What aterrific cache, thanks so much for bringing us down here, it is a hidden gem. Would it have come here if not for the cache. A lovely scramble across the rocks while LadySim found interesting things in the flotsam and jetsam washed up in the rocks. Perfect mini g workout in the stairs on the way back. Ugh.
Found whilst visiting from SA. Thanks for bringing me here.
Container had some moisture which I attempted to empty.

Out for a stroll this morning to collect some caches and an AL that I should not do by bike. It was overcast when I set out and the forecast was for more rain. That did not eventuate, but it did warm up nicely.
The tide was almost at the high, so it was a wonky wander along the stones to this one. Took the TB to move it along.

I was at second bay for sunrise on this summer solstice. What a magical morning it was!! How could I not top it off with finding the cache here? I have to admit I was concerned about rock hopping, but the stones here are so smooth, and there is literally a path paved in them to the hide. Were it not for the searing heat of the sun I would have stayed in this beautiful spot for much longer. Alas, I could take no more so signed the log and neatly rehid it for the next ocean admirer. Relogging found caches under the name Bonkersandshush to my other accountGAZKERSH.Thanks.Nice quick find while taking a stroll along the beach thanks for the cache and bringing us to this location

Needed a little walk today. So this time, I tried the suggested trail for a change.
Thanks for the cache and taking us here theyoung-1z. Didn't use my GPS or phone looking for this one, only to discover gz was actually spot on when I checked to save my draft.

An awesome stroll from the Second Bay car park down and around to this cache. Had to walk back in the dark with the waves crashing to shore but they didn’t come too close and it was nice having nobody around. Thanks for the extra info in the description. A favourite point from me for the beautiful location. TFTC!
A short detour down to the beach from doing ALs, a great view to enjoy while signing the log. TFTC
Found today. Found it pretty quickly. Was a good hide and location was set pretty much perfect. Was a bit wet so gave it a clean. If anyone is checking this one out soon maybe leave a small pencil in there if you have one as there wasn’t one and I forgot my pen
3rd time lucky!!! Had to be steered on the right track by the hider, the picture clue is very distracting!! Excellent spot, great little beach, excellent hide ️
After a failed rainy day attempt the girls and I returned confident after trolling the previously found comments for hints! But alas, we were again unsuccessfull after a half hour search.... Even tried standing where the hint photo was and turning around like someone said in the comments
Spent a while looking bit got rained out! After looking at clues may have been slightly to the south! Will try again later in the week
I was so excited that I can finally get a Smiley here now that the CO replaced, but I checked both gz and the 'another clue photo' which was 16 m away from gz, no cache in sight.
Had a very good hunt around with 5 pairs of geoeyes but no luck. We think perhaps the cache guardian has fallen over. Nice winter rock walk however. Enjoying our family weekend away
Had to come back twice to get this one ! Misread instructions or went down wrong "steep stairs", headed south along beach..but found it north !?
Had fun anyway. Great find. Great spot.

Visiting from New Zealand. My last day here, and my first cache of the new year. What a stunning wee spot. Didn't take long to find this cache, all safe and dry. FP for bringing me here. TFTC
Finally!!!(pencil and rock have been left.) I have been looking for this one for ages. got side tracked by the clue and was looking in the wrong place!! I'm giving this one a favourite point for all the trouble it caused me. But such a lovely walk. Thank you!! hint, when looking at the photo turn around!
Took a while to find the right spot. Reading through the logs gave a few more clues (SPOR). We didn’t have a pen and there wasn’t one in the cache so I had to MacGyver my name into the log book by dipping a plastic monkeys toe into the smiley stamp to write CC and today’s date. Close enough. TFTC
Gorgeous spot. Private and serene even with the crashing water. Remember to wear your rock hopping footwear.
We were up for the weekend and this was on the short but fun caching list for today. We made our way down to the beach and over and along the rocks to GZ. Had to go a little slow as a muggle was also making his way along, picking up rubbish as he went. After his mini-CITO, we found the cache and our names were soon added. Thanks for this cache, theyoung-1z!
On the way back to Brisbane after visiting family at peregian I always treat myself to a couple of smileys. This was my favorite find for today. I parked at the lookout and took the rocky steps to the rocky beach. I wandered over rocks and more rocks. Up over rocks then down until I spotted a suspicious pile of rocks and there was the cache. Coords were spot on for me today even with all the wind and cloud cover. Thankyou for taking me to this beautiful beach and for placing this cache here for us to enjoy
Visiting Coolum Beach for a few days of winter escape, I went for a walk south this morning. I took the wrong flight of stairs down so had to work my way around an extra point where the rocks were covered with lots of foam from the big seas. Reaching GZ, I immediately spotted a likely hiding place and sure enough there was the cache, all in good condition. After signing the log and taking a few photos, I made my way back to the correct stairs where a muggle woman was trudging up and down with a step-counter thing on her arm.
Many thanks for this enjoyable hide.
Many thanks for this enjoyable hide.
Easy find. Went down the goat track from the car park and it wasn’t too slippery or treacherous TFTC
Found it on a beautiful day. Forgot to bring a pen tough so stamped it with the stamp contained in the cache. Tftc
