A quick check but too elusive for me.
Thankfully the weather was playing its part this weekend, so with that in mind I planned a short trip of to the area for a spot of caching and back in 24 hours. Leaving after work on Friday and staying at Whangatea Holiday Park as it was fairly central to the scope of operations, and so an early start to try and collect what I had planned for the day. All logs signed "CD" to try to save space on the log for the CO's.
Rather happy with the day with managing to collect approx 55 caches with only the odd DNF, and still managed to be back in Hamilton by 4 pm (drive back home took a lot longer than the drive up here).
To all CO's thanks for the great caches and putting on such a wonderful days caching

Maybe a check would be good??? Seems to be gone???
Thanks anyways, had our lunch here and enjoyed it

Needed to get a whole bundle of caches for a 50 per month challenge so decided to investigate the new cycle trail. The followed up with a bit of a road trip around the area. Great views from here. TFTC
Oh my god this place is fantastic great place for a geocache myself and miso38 on our adventure you may need in your logbook cheers
Dug around for about a minute for the cache before some heavy rain hit. Had to hide in the car for ten minutes as it passed. Then after taking several pictures of the storm passing, we recovered the cache. Super great cache! Thanks very much!

This was hard to believe. We drive up the road and pass the white car. We will pass the turn and stop there a little further, where you can reasonably park. But before we can see it, the car that we missed and parked right at that corner where we passed. The lady comes out, spreads the blanket 50 cm from the cache and she lunching. We also ate and then slept. And when we wanted to give it up (after an hour), it seemed like a miracle that she got up, packed her blanket and left. For so long I've never been waiting for cache. The view here is beautiful and it was worth it.
Thanks for the cache.
Tohle bylo těžko k uvěření. Vyjíždíme nahoru cestou a míjíme bílé auto. My jsme se taky najedli a pak prospali.

Wow, the view was absolutely amazing. We had some trouble to find the container, but we found it.
Wow, the view was absolutely amazing. Our new favourite sunset spot! The little foliage lined lane is encapsulating. This is one of the older roads in the area and yet I have never made it to the end until today, chasing this cache. TFTC, and the view! Team LOPHB: Lily and Oli
A perfect description, certainly a WOW view. Another GG (geocaching gem) which we would never have found. TFTC and a favourite point.
Had a tiny bit more time to soak in the views of this wonderful place after climbing Tamahunga summit and abseiling at Ti Point. No troubles finding this one, thanks for the view.
Came here while on the way to Pakiri to walk the dogs, first time we've done that since we started caching. Absolutely a wow spot. One way roads always creep me out a bit though. Not sure how I missed the cache though - GAR ended up coming out of the car and saw it straight away. The blackberries put me off, that's my story and I'm sticking to it (actually a rather doh! moment). Thanks for bringing us here Mr Bodyguard.
The original logbook is full and wet. The provisional logbook is also wettish.
Found this one with the aid of Jorias who drove me al the way up here to enjoy the view and to log this cache. Beautiful place! Thanks for showing and TFTC!

I think this 1 has been muggled. Looked everywhere, even turned myself into a human lawn mower, n in all my desperation I slipped twice on the wet grass. So instead of trying to find it I thought that I would do sum detective work, n found a fresh kit kat wrapper and a pile of fire would there. So no luck there 2day:(
Made my way down this narrow lane, glad I didn't meet another car coming back up! One of us would be doing some reversing. The view was very nice alright, thanks for the cache and bringing us here
Found with Bijouxtoo after a great day snorkelling at Goat Island. Cache already found before E south even out of the car.
Needs new log sheet.

Kiwiscot had no school today so a family day out snorkelling at Goat Island was the consensus. Lots of Snapper following us around including 1 very large granddaddy. Had a great time. A quick drive up the hill to enjoy the views and grab a cache before the rain sets in. TFTC
We decided to head out to Matakana to visit the Market and afterwards to watch Shakespeare in the Vines presenting Macbeth. On our way around the area we also collected some geocaches. Wow what a great lookout! TFTC
Out for a day of geocaching with Zenith08 while on holiday, on the last day of 2014. Amazing views, would love a bach here!
After spending the morning in Mangawhai and completing the clifftop walkway, I decided to do a bit of a back-road tiki-tour on my return trip to Auckland. This cache was the last I needed to complete the 36 Degrees South Latitude Challenge! After departing Pakiri Beach the fog had really set in and I could hardly see anything on my drive over the hill to Leigh - so there wasn't much hope of a view at this lookout (for what it's worth - a photo is attached!) Soon found the cache and continued on my way. TFTC!
Out on a Northland cache raid picking up caches for a challenge cache. Drove here via Pakiri. Great views from GZ. TFTC.
Awesome view from up here, quite spectacular. Perfect placement of this cache. TFTC!!!
Found with funkymunkyzone on a mission north to find caches in different minutes of 36 degrees. Fantastic views from GZ here. Unfortunately we were in a bit of a rush and forgot to take photos! ><
Thanks!
Thanks!
Found originally as part of rebel98 team, now created own account, re-logging as rustynz
Exploring this area with family, thanks for bringing us to places that if you just travel a little further takes you somewhere special. Thanks again for the cache.

At Goat Island for a swim and look at the fish. Not many fish about today, but plenty of people. Water was not too cold, a little stirred up as the sea was a little choppy with the wind. Thought instead of going straight home, why not look for some geocaches and take some photos of the views. Thanks for bringing us here, just beautiful, the water with its rich blue colours and fluffy clouds. Had a little hunt around, almost fooled, but after one last look, cache was found. Thanks for bringing us here, we don't get to travel on gravel roads very often now!
As Sara said, that's how we love geocaching. Thanks to this cache we had a beautiful view of the beach beyond the beautiful cloudy sky before the rain.... And we could even see the place we went snorkling just before Thank you very much for the cache.
Une cache comme on aime, placé dans un endroit où on ne serait jamas allé sans le geocaching. La cache est au bout d'un chemin qui monte et nous permet d'avoir un super vue sur la plage ou on a fait de la plongée juste avant

Amazing view! Thanks to the owner because we wouldn't have stopped here if it wasn't for this cache. That's the kind of geocaching I enjoy the most.
Out for a Sunday drive with PDH_NZ. Another great spot for the views. Quickish find. SL. TFTC.
The corner was so boggy we had to park on road, thought it would be OK down here, but no. The owner (I guess) of the last property came home, I had to back down so that they could get passed, and make some lame excuse about being new in the area and just checking out the lay of the land, when asked what i was doing there. TFTC
Great spot near the end of the road. Held up by the local "Muggle" who turned out to be a fellow GC. Perfect spot for pics, pity the caches on this road are not visited more often! TFTC.
Great views today. Thanks for taking me there. Would not have gone there without geocaching!
An awesome view, even if a little hazy. Have been to Pakiri many times, but never noticed this little spot. TFTC
Another beautiful spot out of the way and with a great view - and had it not been for the cache we would probably have never ventured down that dirt road. TFTC
Out of the three lookout caches in the vicinity I can't make up my mind which is the best so they all get a favourite.
Cheers for the cache.
Cheers for the cache.
Just realised we hadn't logged this find, so date is approx. We had signed onsite though. Couldn't find the cache earlier in same road so will look again.
STILL NO GPS!

6336 Neat spot with great views of Goat Island... needed a 20 point turn to get around, TFTC.
Not much in the way of views today as the rain was closing in. Good tell it would be amazing on a fine day. TFTC
How did you find this place? It was Tracie's turn to get out of the car - so the sisters score another smiley. t4tc
Amazing views today, hot so a bit hazy in distance. Quick find once landowner ? moved on
Thanks
Thanks
Liked this one very much! Very beautiful view up there. Thanks and greetings from Latvia!
Keep drinking those V's. Especially if it means your caches will be in great spots like this. Thanks.
When I first looked just thought it was on the main road, what a site to live at. Great views even thought it was not the best of days
Another great site Glyn!!! Amazing views. Family loved it. Onto the next now.... Thanx bud
Another quick hit in the NW rain lots of V cans here. Worried about the house next door but the focus seems to be to the north. TFTC
Passing by while showing this wonderful area to our German visitors. What a great view.

WOW is right! Another amazing place I can say ive seen because of geocaching! Was a beautiful day and an easy find. Second cache for the day with some friends who were on their first cach hunting trip. TFTC!
Definitely one of those WOW moments.
Was approaching GZ when we saw a man searching around GZ.
Drove on, turned around at the end of the road and saw the man still searching.
Asked him if he was looking for something, "something called a Geocache!!", "me too" I replied.
Seemed that the an was living at the end of the road and wanted to drop a geocoin in the cache that he had found some time ago in an archived cache nearby.
He gave me the coin, because it was to big for this little V bottle.
I will move it on soon as it is in the graveyard for almost two years now.
Thanks Glyn for bringing us to another awesome spot.

certainly a nice outlook, 'we can see our house from here' is a cliche but true in this case
thanks Glyn

In the area on business and decided to lookout for some FTFs. Easy find and yet another unclaimed cache FTF and our fourth for the day. Unable to take any photos as the fog was rolling in so hopefully someone else can help with the pics. T4TC.
