My first find of the day out of the rest of the group! Needs a little bit of maintainence. A cool spot to discover!
Great find and Its amazing the hidden gems we have just off the coast line and all it takes is a little walk
TFTC and a nice quick find with Deni-f in our days geocaching. It is getting hot so can hardly wait to be by the water.
Find #1760Out today with techsavvy9. Parked past this cache and then walked back up the old off ramp to make a quick find. Log was a wet mess so we put in another piece of paper. TFTC
Found it. Very wet and only sort of able to write on it. Moved it a bit so hint works again
Thanks for the great hide. The very first geocache my daughter and I have found. Just letting you know the paper inside the tin is wet and mouldy. Thanks again
Found the old and then the new. Thanks for the maintenance. Enjoying one of my favourite walks.
I think I may have found what’s left of it lol
If this is it I was unable to sight the log as it has gotten a little damp and rotted away .
I shall place this back as a tribute to a fine cache that served the people well.
Goodbye my friend.

This most definitely needs maintenance all that is left is a magnet and a bit of the container.
I spoke with a previous finder to make shore I had the right location and unfortunately I did have the location correct.

After seeing the notifications for some new ones down this way last night, we headed down this morning after seeing they were still FTF, we ended up getting 2 FTFs and 3 other caches along the way...

After a wet weekend, and the first day of school holidays, we were keen for an outing and some caches.
We note this cache every time we are in the area, previously put off by the walk from Scenic Drive, today we pulled up off the road just south of the footbridge/overpass, and walked back up the Lost Highway. Easy....
The cache is in poor shape - no lid, a rusty mess - the magnet is still hanging on though.....

no ones found it for a couple months, so i decided to do a quick 20 minute check to see if it was still there. i didnt find it, of course thats not proof for anything but comments have said the cache needs maintenance. so i wouldnt be surprised if its dissapeared
Happy New Year! Thankyou for the history lesson. Cache container has seen better days, it's lid was missing but the log was snug and dry in it's ziplock bag. TFTC!

Have driven under the GZ for years on my daily commute, finally a chance to find. Lucky quick find.
Remember the old Swansea S bends well

The cache has lost its lid, and has definitely seen better days! I plan on hiking this track again in the near future, and if CO hasn't been able to replace in the meantime, I'll bring a replacement cache with me
My second attempt at a cache today. Out to get one for the 29th February. Quick easy find and was ar the right end first go. Tftc. I did see there was a dnf though it was a newb so i thought i would try it anyway. There is no lid so needs a little TLC.
Looked every where on the bridge path and the old highway but still couldn’t find it
Found without difficulty. Beautiful area to walk this time of year. Thanks dodgy123
My husband found this one (on his birthday) whilst on a walk from Murrays Beach. Good eyes for a non-cacher!
Found. Bush bashing is required in long grass to access the site if you park on the freeway. The parking waypoint is not accessible from the main highway (fenced off). TFTC.
Found with Pergoda Climber. After having missed this one on a previous look. TFTC dodgy123

No find for this one today. Looked where the clue suggests to no find. Probably spent to much time looking for the rating.. Will have to try some other time dodgy123.

Hi we found your geocache, very clever spot and would definitely recommend to people that would love old things being re-discovered, if you get the rare chance to drive through the old pacific highway tak it as an opportunity.

Oh we should have taken that road not the one we did take. Oh well we got some exercise and the cache
Found with Tank engine today. We were travelling right past this one and thought we would stop. A nice location for a cache also a quick find that I actually found TFTC
Loved the location, what the heck is that bridge for? Nice quick find with Mr Roo. Thanks D321!
Second day of the geomuster event in Morriset, but officially the first day? well at least I made it to the opening and enjoyed all the people around and the chats. Slept in my car overnight and today went out for a lot of caching and different caches! Today I went all around the lake with very different experiences, from hot walks to quick grabs and hard puzzles to easy finds. Great day!

Another great day at the Oz Mega week end. Collecting caches on our travel and discovering beautiful locations. TFTC
Now this is why I geocache. My head has been a bit confuddled lately so today I needed a walk to clear it and this cache certainly did. I could not get to the suggested parking area as there are 2 barriers preventing that so My dog Duke and I set of for the 1.2km each way walk instead. I was also on the phone to Mr Minion at one point so took a wrong turn adding another 250 metres to the journey. The weather was great so it was a nice walk listening to the birds and taking in the view were we could. Once we got to GZ it was a quick find in the logical spot. I wished I had more time as I would have kept walking to see where the pedestrian bridge went as I am really curious what it is actually doing out here in the middle of no where and where it goes. Maybe another time . Thanks so much for the cache dodgy123 tnln replaced as found sl
We did manage to lose the highway at one point. However it was found again and the cache which is still safe and in good condition despite the long time between drinks. Enjoyed it . Thanks.
Out and about today looking for another puzzle cache to keep my streak going.
So after finding the field puzzle up the road I made my way home via a couple of caches.
A quick find here once I got to GZ.
Thanks for the cache.

Oh SH!T. I dropped it! But being a good geocacher and strongly believing in the "leave it how you found it" rule off I went and climbed the safety fence, through the long spikey bushes, spiderweb in the face and then crawling on my belly through the dirt to just be able to reach it. Unfortunately what I found was the original cache that had been dropped back in 2013!
A bit more crawling and managed to retrieve the current cache and placed it back where I found it along with the rusted original!
Phew. Glad that's over.

My gps had me about 4m off but found it at feet level in the end. Very eerie walking along the old roads. Tftc
while cycling with friends in this beautiful country,I manage to do some geocaching, tftc
I was up north today for a celebratory lunch in an area I hadn't done any geocaching in yet. Even though it was quite hot and I wasn't 'best dressed' for geocaching purposes I still decided to make the most of my trip up. Looking at all the different types of caches around it's about time I started heading up this way to put some smilies on the map!
I found this one after walking out to the nearby puzzle cache named patience. I was tempted to continue walking to grab this but decided to hop back in the car and drive up to it. I admit to not reading the description of the cache until now and I had parked on the side of the highway and walked up the old overgrown ramp to get to this one. It was nice to be able to have an explore of the old section including the bridge.
I quickly made the find and signed the log before heading back to the vehicle to find it hadn't been towed.
TFTC cheers

Came out today to meet up with TeamSenz and nellc. They went off to attack the power trail and I ventured south to find some of the more off-the-beaten-track caches that have been eluding me for some time, nearly got sprung by a couple of bike riders, TFTC dodgy123!!
After visiting the nearby patience, Orrsome and I headed off towards this cache. We nearly took the wrong track and started on a driveway out here (not sure how they get there now as the gate is locked down the hill). Soon I stopped as I was easily distracted by a cutie echidna and wanted a cuddle, but by the time I had climbed the hill the echidna had found a hole to hide in and I could only shake his hand. Orrsome spotted a nice looking possum (not the usual ring tailed variety). Then we arrived at the bridge and made a quick find. This was not a hard walk, but it is more than a terrain of one point five. We walked across the bridge, and then headed back the way we came. We found a sign with information about echidna, as they are apparently around these parts, but you chances of seeing one is pretty slim. On the way out we had a look around the old lookout near the quarry, but it is quite overgrown and the view is mostly blocked.
Thanks for the nice night walk and cache!

A quick spin along the freeway brought me to this structure. I had to navigate through some gates and eventually got to GZ. The GPS was sending me mixed signals. I read the hint and the hide revealled itself.

Gps had me all over the place, from old highway to new, but got there in the end. TFTC
