Sorry guys, but I'm going to have to archive this one as I am moving interstate. Hopefully another keen cacher will take the opportunity to utilise this fabulous location for another cache in the future!
Went down for a check after the DNF and sure enough, the cache has gone walkies. Nothing to do with the cut down tree though! Will get it back up and running soon.
A DNF for me today although I suspect the cache is missing as a tree has recently been removed at the cache coordinates.

A nice walk and a quick find. Added some3 more camouflage when I replaced it. TFTC Oz Explorers.
Nice quick find this afternoon after a short stroll along the path. The cache is dry and the cam is recovered. Thanks.
Brahms6 found this one. A nice walk along the creek and straight forward find. Took a Marble and left a ball.

Seeing as it hadn't been logged fit ages we didn't expect to find it, but as we were cast netting in the area we gave it a go. It was sitting there exposed but in good nick except for water. Log book is fine abc we emptied the water and put a bit of cam over it all. Nice DVD ing walk and weirdly, no mossies!! Tnln TFTC
Nice easy find after the short walk to gz. Very hot today [XX(] TNLN Thanks for bringing us here Oz Explorers.
After finishing my work duties for the day I thought I'd pick up some nearby caches on my convoluted way back to the hotel. This one was an easy walk from the car to the likely spot. Signed the log and replaced the camo. Thanks! I think I recall a slighly damp log with this one.
This was to the last cache to be found today but I had to be quick as the mozzies were ferocious just before dusk. I was thinking about a blood transfusion at the hospital but decided a glass of red would do the trick .
Covered the container but if there is heavy rain or wind the cache could be exposed.
Thanks Oz Explorers for showing me this area.

Thanks Oz Explorers for showing me this area.
This was an easy find because the container lost some of the black paint. No GC in there. The park was nice though.

A great Bowerbird was making a great fuss around its bower on the way to the cache today. Must be the breeding season! Cache was found easily in this nice park, thanks Oz Explorers.
This is a lovely stroll through a very nice park. We had an easy find even though there were a couple of people fishing not too far away. TNLN TFTC.
Squeezed this one in before heading home after visiting our new born grandson. Some fishermen were casting for bait nearby but otherwise the park was bare.

WanderingAus wandered by on day 36 of our annual 'Climatic Refugee' trip, after dropping the WanderingMrs (aka SWMBO) at Suburban Bowls Club for some line dancing I asked my brand new Magellan Explorist GC to show me a nearby cache, and it said this one was about a CroK away. I read a bit of the description, then hit the "Go" button, then asked TomTom to get me there.
TomTom led me past the arboretum, around the next corner, and into the bush a few hundred metres away, and at that point I discovered my good torches were not in the car, and all I had was the reserve torch with an almost flat battery. By the light of that torch all I could see was thick bush and what appeared to be an intervening creek, so I read a bit more of the description and found the bit that says "Parking is available close by on Queens Road". I got back in the car and very shortly after found the parking area.
From there I found how good the Explorist GC is. It pointed me almost along the sealed track, updating faster than I could walk, and with about 30 metres to go it pointed me to a gap in the trees. From there to "cache in hand" was 27 seconds, amazing under all that tree cover, on a pitch black night, the GC was reading 1 metre to End when I reached for the cache, a very quick and easy GAFF 1 find.
My find No 2458, and find Number One for the Explorist GC, LCC, TNLNSL, dropped my WanderingAus Happy New Year 2008 Gold GC in for a visit before grabbing it back again.

camsuz and Miss S visited Saturday afternoon. Miss S located the cache and left a plastic yoyo and a pink bendable pencil - took a one eyed cat toy.

Nice peaceful spot on a weekday. No one around and we located the cache without any trouble. Dropped off the 2007 CITO coin.
Was mowerman muggle when trying to find. Might take myself fishing down there 1 day, heaps of activity in the water. Left cats toy in xchange for quid.
My first Townsville cache. Stopped by to pick this one up while running errands. We are up from Wagga Wagga for a family event. Thoroughly enjoyed he location, but was disappointed at the lack of tip chooks. I know our Geohound would love to chase them.

Another park and short walk to a GZ. Cache found quickly, log signed and it was off to yet another in the nearby area.
Never been to this park before, thanks for showing me. That's what I like about geocaching, it takes you to new places.

Found myself nearby at lunch time today, so indulged in a spot of geocaching.Arriving at GZ I spotted a likely hide but my GPSr said otherwise, after a couple of minutes it then agreed with me and the cache was in hand.Often used to swim at "Sandy Crossing" near here 35 years ago, I wouldn't put a toe in the water today. Thanks for the cache Oz Ex. TNLNSL.
Nice day for caching, in this weather there is not really much else you can do and a big bonus is, it keeps the muggles away. Quick easy find. TNLN. TFTC.
Sadly this is to be the second and only cache for the day. Easy find and cache in good order TNLNSL TFTC
[Well it's the quick or the dead in this town. Got my morning email stating there was a new Townsville cache placed yesterday and thought it might be my 1st FTF. When I check it out, bamm, already found. Nice spot and an easy find,] just had to follow the trail of disturbed leaves!

My 2nd cache for the day. And another great spot. Didn't even know that this area had a bike path and thought it was just swamp land. Followed the GPS to a nice area and grabbed the cache. Its when everything is green this time of year. Thanks Oz Explorers I enjoyed the hunt for this cache. TNLN SL. Thanks for placing the cache.
Another park we've never taken the time to visit. Thankyou for taking us there. We liked the placement of the cache too, with trees blocking us from nearby houses.
Have placed a geocoin in the cache for the first finder to move on. Unless, of course, the owner of the geocoin gets the FTF!!
ftf 5. quite spooky in there at night.sl.tgclgc.tftc oe.
