Logs
Came in search of Cache this morning but could not find. Went home and seached the internet for picture of species and returned to park late afternoon. Discovered reason for not locating cache - ""Additional Hint"" has been severely trimmed, almost non existant - by gardener and ?? cache removed.
After getting home and researching Nephrolepis falcata on the internet, I can confidently say that I was searching in the completely wrong place. It wasn't the first time today that my GPSr had me looking astray.
If it wasn't for previous logs I could have thought this cache may have been muggled. But reading those logs made me more determined. Found it. First time I have seen that kind of urban camo. T4TC. SL. TNLN. Bamster
We returned for another look. What a laugh, excellent cache well done. By the looks of things it has had quiet a few visitors. Shame they do not log a DNF, part of the game.
Well Done, hope to meet up for the 10th anniversary.

This is my second try. After my first failed attempt (and I knew I must have been really close) I went back to the computer to look at previous logs for hints. With this in mind I had renewed energy. So I got some friends to meet me for a morning tea picnic and used the opportunity to 'start digging'... No luck.... After my friends had left I thought I would give it a final try. It was now a matter of honour. And while digging I found myself holding something interesting in my hand. How cool is that! Could that be? And so it was. Little problem; the logbook was way low in the canister and I did not have a pincet with me to get it out. Also the tiny fingers of my two year old did not do the trick. So no paper proof. But really, I did find it . So for the people to follow me: 1) don't give up, you might get lucky like me, 2) Take a pen, and 3) take a pincet
Searched around the general vicinity after the GPS settled down. It seems a certain species of flora has been dramatically crushed/damaged recently. Had a gentle look around but couldn't find this one. Wasn't sure with the hint as we were not internet enabled but a google search once we returned home confirmed we were looking in the right spot. 'Til next time.
Edit: obviously didn't have our camo eyes on after reading previous logs! Will try to stop in on this one tomorrow.

Bugger........
Came with the geowife on this one, had read the previous logs, and really thought I would give it a good go. But as the saying goes........ so much for that plan.
Spent around 15 minutes looking amounst the Nephrolepis falcata, but to no avail. Another good cammo by Ammotech obviously.
Will be back later in the year to try again.

Our GPS didn't like all the trees but it eventually settled down to give us a likely spot. You certainly need eyes in the back of your head if you are searching alone for this one but I had two spotters sitting on the chair near the cache. A quick search revealed nothing in the end I actually had to move a very prickly mass which had fallen on top of the cache. Indeed an interesting little cache container which certainly blends in nicely with it's surroundings. TNLNSL Thanks for the cache.
We will be back ,the old lady sitting on the chair then the couple with the baby on the grass,Havent they got anything better to do on a sunday

Stopped in for a late lunch today, wandered around in ever decreasing circles (my GPSr HATES trees), I didn't have the clue with me so I started looking in the only likely spot within a few meters, no joy! Was just about to call it off when, hello what's this? Awesome camo ! Thanks for the cache AmmoTech502. TNLNSL.
Found this one on my second atempt. Luckily in the middle of the day the park is pretty much muggle free and I could take a closer look. Good camouflage .
Thanks. Signed log/paper.
Put another piece of paper in, since the scrap paper was full.

What a neat little hide, almost too neat as I searched whilst Bubbles stood guard and I'm hesitant to admit it but I didn't find it. after swapping places Bubbles had the cache in hand almost instantly. Now I have to live this one down. Great hide Ammotech. TFTC.
Well decided to finally go for this cache as I found a bit of a break from the recent down pore we have been receiving. We got to the GZ and started to look around the obvious places and then went for the hint. The hint helped and we soon had the cache in hand. Awesome cache Ammotech well done this is brillant and different to anything in Townsville or what I have seen. Have heard about theses type of caches in SE QLD. Cat and Bear really enjoyed the hunt. TNLN. The log needs some maintenance as its only a bit of scrap paper in the cache. I recommend everyone to go and find this cache. Thanks for the hunt : )
What, you mean I beat C&B to a cache ... unheard of! But I am still missing that elusive FTF!
This cache was just what the doctor ordered ... right out in plain sight with a most interesting camo, I am sure the geoson is gunna want to replicate in Sydney! Only had to convince one pair of muggles & their hound that I was just an innocent cyclist dying on the grass before I had the cache in hand (very little acting required).
Nice park to have a break from the pedalling (Stanley St on a trike is a nightmare) and recoup, and the aviaries are a nice touch here, Polly DID get a cracker!
Log seems to be missing, just a scrap of notepaper with the recent logs in the cache.
TFTC ... SL ... Dipped the bugs & coins.

Rockmonkeys up early this morning to do a run of the riverway caches.
Notified of new cache in Queens Gardens just as we where discussing the fact that no one had yet placed one there.
Found GZ at same time as summers'koby. Graciously allowed us our first ever FTF, joined soon after by Gemini 1&2. A real social event.
Thanks Ammotech502 for this devious cache - it's not what your looking for but exactly what your looking for!
