Incredible scene! So high! Super windy day.

01-Mar-24
Finding the cache was the easy part! Getting to the vicinity of it was the challenge here! I think the original description isn't relevant any more....eventually found a good way up by going 40 or 50 meters along the boarwalk and then heading up to the right. Brilliant 360 views from the top. TFTC

Off the path

26-Nov-23
Today we visited the gap, the bridge and the blowholes which weren't working today. We then decided to do the bald head track it got very windy in places we managed to stay on our feet.I found this one on the way back as couldn't see an obvious path on the way there. A nice quick find. Logbook is full so will need to be replaced. Thanks for placing this cache for us to find.

Out and about with geo daughter of CamersonsWA. Our goal was to get to Bald Head. We got within 1.2k and the wind got the better of us It was a wonderful walk with plenty of ups and downs. The management have done a great job on the paths but a few arrows would go well for guidance. We decided to do the caches on the way back so this was our last A bit tricky finding our way up and around but easy find with hint once we got there. Whar views to behold. Well worth the trip. Cache in excellent condition. Thanks for the cache Croznoz. Greetings from Melbourne.

Visiting southern WA for a couple of weeks for our 40th wedding anniversary for a bit of a relax and unwind, which of course means picking up a few caches here and there in what has been a lovely quiet time with such great weather.
Another hide where we have to go a fair bit off the main trail to get to. It was really sad to see so much disturbance of the local area by unwanted muggles. So frustrating

Our favourite type of geocaching, a remote hike with caches to break the journey and show you the sights !!!
This hike and geotrail is just spectacular, words cannot describe it, so I won't bother, so glad we had the most awesome weather to make the trek !!!

In the Great Southern for the long weekend with Mrs Copwat. The bald head caches have always been on the bucket list so we decided to tackle them. There were plenty of very challenging ups and downs not to mention a 12.5 km return trip made for an interesting time with our old knees. However the views were outstanding which made it all worth while. TFTC

It is a shame the rest of the walk is closed. It was the main walk I wanted to do while in Albany. At least we could do this part and see the spectacular view. Muggles sitting right in front and didn't even turn when I made the find. Tftc

05-Jun-21
An early start out to the car park which was a bonus as there were hundreds there when we finished. Started the trek on Bald Head trail today as part of the WAGB 2021 weekend.
Was great to be out with a great crew of cachers led by team barritts taking on the challenging terrain. Yes the trek was tough but the views were spectacular and the weather just perfect and what a spot to stop for lunch - breathtaking! Oh and parts of the trek were also breathtaking trying to climb up massive washouts. Great to share the experience with everyone.

We had planned to do the Bald Head walk during the June long weekend last year but time got the better of us. When we heard there was going to be a walk during WAGB21 it was a must do. We can now tick this off our bucket list after an enjoyable but tiring walk with great bunch off cachers. The track was tough but the views were amazing. Found all eight caches. Thanks to COs for placing these caches for us to find.

Great scenery with awesome views, a must do on your bucket list. Please remember to take lots of water and some energy/electrolyte replacements.

Yea, out with my beautiful dad doing the Bald Head walk. Had a great time and loved the scenery. The other 2 members of BJA3 didn’t complete the whole walk as they had a few injuries that were too much for the terrain .

04-Jun-21
Out for an early morning trail run, caching on the way of course.

04-Jun-21
After both Mr and Mrs O almost completing the hike to the far end and back, Mr O went on ahead to look for the entry point to the top of Isthmus Hill. Looking for the cache was tricky as the view was very distracting. Eventually it was signed and replaced in its little hidey hole. TFTC Cruznoz!

Found on a trip to Torndirrup National Park. I enjoyed the little scramble to the top and the amazing views. Dropped off Oklahoma Penny TB.

17-May-19
Had a great day exploring the National Park - I think we hit every signposted area (but didn't quite do all the walks!). For this one, after pointing out where we would end up, the GeoWife decided to head back to the camper. I had a blast making the ascent, and overshot the cache before reading the hint.

02-Mar-19
I had been hunting without luck when the Mrs walks up and pulls it out - as usual!! TFTC

27-Jan-19
Headed out to Bald head today with Richlink.

Had a good 5hr return trip after grabbing some caches around the area first.

Amazing views from this walk, was surprised at how undulating the terrain was, I guess the satellite map doesn’t quite show that!

Highly recommend doing these caches.

Thanks for a great days fun.

25-Mar-18
With iluvtrekking in Denmark for a few days, we decided to explore the Torndirrup NP together (leaving geo-schnauzers at home). It was quite a coolish day which made the walk to this gz very pleasant, rewarded with amazing views along the way. Definitely will be coming back to do the 6 hour return trek to the very end. Thanks Cruznoz

06-Mar-18
Found it. TFTC Cruznoz. Great walk nice view

19-Feb-18
It was late afternoon and we were not too sure how far we would get in an hour as that’s about all the time to sun set we had. Chrome Dome was certainly too far but the other three were completed. Great views along the way with the tall granites, the bay on one side and surf on the other. A lovely pink sunset but it was time to head back with fading light. The light dropped on the last slab so we lost the track but thanks to the satellite image and some bush bashing we soon picked up the track again. TFTC.

20-Jan-18
This one was spectacular. Well, well worth it. If you only do one in this area, do this one. TFTC.

I am visiting Albany, staying with my fellow Australian Aid volunteer Rachel and her husband, and sought out this cache during my visit. It was a straightforward find, being on the coordinates. The walk along this peninsula is stunning, with superb coastal scenery and a wonderful array of wildflowers. The caches were the cream!Thank you Cruznoz for installing and maintaining this cache.

Did this on return from Bald Head Walk with Family Bushwalkers Club. Have done this walk many times but never actually been to this summit. It is worth the small detour! TFTC.

28-Jan-16
Missed this one on the way out to Bald Head but, with a bit more help, found it on the way back. Interesting place. Why had someone gone to so much trouble to build that 'cairn' / shelter in a spot that now only geocachers would visit. Cache is in good condition. Thanks Cruznoz for the cache & for bringing us to this spot.

14-Oct-15
Wow !! What a great view. Took nothing. Left a photo. TFTC.

23-Jul-15
With four days down in Albany decided to do some caching. This little series was top of the list because they were conveniently on a walk I really wanted to complete. The rest of the gang couldn't be bothered with a 16km return walk so I braved it on my own. The series were all relatively easy finds, that provided nice breaks in the walk to take in the amazing views. Thanks for placing the series here, was a joy to complete. TFTC

12-Jul-15
This is a good spot to see a good view if you don't want to walk the whole way.

17-Jun-15
Excellent location, great views. Thanks

23-May-15
The trek up was so, very much, worthwhile. We had a little difficulty deciphering the final track up, I'm still not sure if the way we made it to the cairn was correct, but WOW was it worth it, what stunning views!!! Mini-me was excited to be able to add a rock to the cairn and we found the cache without too much difficulty. TFTC
