Second cache found in this vicinity, and a vague memory of trying to find this in the past. Not too elusive today, thankfully - TFTC!
Quick find here once I found parking down a side street. Then found I could have parked next to GZ after all. Tftc
Very rusty....took a bit to locate this one ; but with several pairs of eyes we had success.
I came to New Zealand with my wife on honeymoon
It is hard to log all the caches, I found here in New Zealand, so excuse my mass log for caches around Orewa, please
At first i started with caches around Estuary Cycleway, then to Red Beach, Hatfield´s Beach, Millwater and Silverdale. Some of the caches are now disabled as i can see, and some of them were disabled, but were on place.
After consulting with owner I made maintanance on some of disabled and missing caches.
I found many really nice caches...it was awesome, but i think, that some of them (for example Bison caches) have too low D/T combos...but owners are really helpful, so I managed to find each of them. I usually borrowed bike from my brother in law and then in the early morning, or in evening went geocaching. I really liked that routine. So I´m really thankful for all the caches on/near Estuary
I need to write here, that I really like nature in NZ...its a big difference between Europe :/
So – TFTC, guys, and especially The Wonder Stuff for placing and G-2 for placing and hints...and sry for mistakes in my poor English...have a nice day(s) there and u should come to find some caches here in Slovak Republic

The sun came out after a very wet morning and MrsJAG joined up with Merlot and Supernannny for a trip to The Hibiscus Coast. We were heading home and stopped here to see if we could locate this one. After a couple of circuits at gz, we came up empty handed. Then MrsJAG spotted something partially buried in the mud. On closer inspection it appears that this is part of the cache (similar to a cache found further down the road) but the log is missing.
Realised I’d forgotten to log this one. My 3rd visit here, this time with extra eyes. I still couldn’t find anything until Mrs Jag spied something partially buried and it was a broken cache. CO needs to disable and replace
NZ Travellers have a big milestone in sight and a cache they are aiming for so they need to get their numbers up a bit for the stars to align at the right time. A plan was devised to hit this general area and a bonus of an event today! Weather was foggy when we started but the sun came out and we had a great day!
At first we were unable to locate this but I went digging as I thought it might be a bit buried after almost 2 years. Woohoo I was right but that was just the start of the journey - it was rusted shut. Never mind we had a tool that was used to prise it open.
Thanks for the cache.

We are working our way to our milestone 6000th cache find and are planning a trip up north in October to celebrate, therefore a caching day, to get a few numbers, was planned with Keylev and Laval. What started as a foggy and/or cloudy day (we couldn't decide which) turned into a glorious sunny spring day and after caching our way to Long bay for an event, we headed north to get some power caching done!
We were very surprised that this cache hasn't been found for almost 2 years! took a little searching, but Keylev made the find. container rusted shut so MrNZT came in handy for this one. TFTC!

Found whilst out with NZ Travellers and keylev.
It was a great day!

Thanks for the cache.
I came out today to work my way along to the Whangaparaoa Peninsula to clean up several stragglers.
I did a quick loop to check the most obvious places, but then settled on a second-most-obvious place. TFTC.

Out on a caching adventure with tikitour and riser5 to get 100 geocaches for the hidden creature souvenirs. Logging at T18. TFTC
Out for a days caching with Remaker13 and Riser5 - logging as T18. Quick find as we travel around Silverdale. TFTC
Out caching in the rain so appreciated an easy find. All good. Thanks TheWonderStuff.
This one was so close to our holiday accommodation that we just had to get it at the end of our caching Xmas Day. Many thanks.
Our last find today. Could not not find this one so close to where we are staying! Thanks for the sneaky cache!
Found after a lovely lunch further down the peninsula. Good to know about the lovely local cafes. TFTC
Managed to find a park and get this cache tonight on way home from visit to Orewa ! Thanks for this wee series WonderStuff !
Well started at 10am and finished up at 3.30pm we are feeling ready for bed after a lovely soak in a spa bath, this was my birthday gift from my hubby that he would be my driver for the 3 days of caching this was the first day that will be hardest, we have replaced caches that we knew were going to be missing and only had a couple of dnf. Thanks for placing the cache (sorry about the copy and paste logs it's been such a big day we weren't able to remember them all) we also hit our mile stone of 2000 caches while doing these caches.
Got caught out with the first one, walking up to GZ, to discover it had lots of DNF. Thankfully this one was much easier to find, I have seen TWS hides like this before, and even made one myself for a hide out West. I have a soft spot for them
Thanks for the hide.
Thanks for the hide.
Having parked nearby it was a simple walk to retrieve this cache. Log soaked and unusable. Have replaced and added a protective bag. Lots of clover and dandy lions growing around for the bunnies to have a treat when we get home. TFTC
We wanted one more tonight so made a quick stop to Take #1. The other Five will wait for another occasion. The cache was found on the ground but returned to its proper location. Thanks.
Todays caching day was supposed to be all about 4WD along Muriwai Beach and grabbing those letterbox hybrid caches along the beach. The weather was favourable, tide timew was good as well and the geomobile full of fuel. Only problem, no company. My intended travellers pulled out one by one leaving me alone and, sniff, sad.
Nothing for it but to call off that mission and come over to Silverdale to grab a few easy caches to push the numbers along. There are absolutely loads here and in a new area that's always a winner. It also means I can park in one place, walk a loop grabbing 4 or 5 or 6 the go and move the car again to tyhe centre of the next cluster. Managed over 30 today which although not massive numbers was a nice gentle trip and back here at a decent time with time to log them and do all the humdrum extras before work again tomorrow.
Moved the car up to nearby and walked another loop of 5 caches.
Did this single one on this road then back past the intersection for another 3

Left Auckland this morning and on the way to our next accommodation we picked up some more caches . All caches were found with out any problems , the only problem encountered was muggles and parking . TFTC
Quite an exposed spot and a very wet log but good to tick off on the way to our NZ home today.
Found in the wee hours of this morning after a FTF close by. Then I went home for some needed sleep.
It started raining as I got to this cache so after a quick find, I cycled off before logging it. Rain has now stopped!

Found with nzanz on a lovely walk. Good warm up for the volleyball game, tftc
I suspected where this one might be as I approached the GZ and I wasn't disappointed. The trickiest part was crossing the road safely.
Out and about for a spot of caching in the hot afternoon sun. Decided to grab one last cache on my way out of wonderland. Cache was hidden as I expected, where I expected. So why it took me a couple of minutes to find I have no good answer for. Anyway, cheers for the cache placement!
[green] At long last, after two weeks of Auckland Mega and the GeoTours North and South, I can get my bike out and go for a ride. Over 30 caches by bike today! And suddenly it is farmland again. But houses are going up here too, so the farms here are slowly going too. And so am I. It has just started to rain, so I am off back to the backpackers in Orewa.
On a separate note, This is the last log in my notebook! I have caught up on my logs! YAY!!! I am in Rotorua at the mo, caching of course, Back home to Palmerston North in a week or so.
Thanks to everybody, especially all the COs, that have made my Auckland trip so wonderful these last few weeks. You guys rock!

It is off to Silverdale to pick up a few more caches in the STC series. It took me 21 minutes to complete the mini-series on foot.
Cheers for the cache.
Continuing on our night trips north to find our cache a day as we have a cache drought closer to home. Quick find later in the evening which was probably a better time to visit as the parking was not a problem and neither was the find TFTC.
Another fast find... Will have to return for #4 as we drove past this one by accident!! Always up here so will save it for later! Nice trail!

As have others parked in John Dee Crescent to attempt this series, nice quick find and off to the next. TFTC
Out and about grabbing the Silverdale caches. I thought that Id park and walk the caches to see how long it takes. Took me 2 1/2 hours. I was interrupted by a phone call, I stopped for lunch and then continued. Turned this into a drive-by. Thanks.
Found orginally as part of phasevisitor team, now created own account, re-logging as yorkshirekiwi83.
Decided to stop and look for the latest STC caches on our way home this evening. After a quick drive by of the series first, we decided to park in John Dee Cres and walk the trail from there. We did the trail from 1 to 5 in a leisurely 15 minutes - not out to break any records! Quick find, thanks for the cache!

A nice easy drive-by. Just had to wait for a break in the traffic as GZ is a wee bit exposed to motoring muggles. Now off to find the other four. TFTC.
Parked in the patient car parking at the nearby health centre and since I figured I'm quite a patient person, this parking was designed for me. Wandered along the road picking up the mini power trail and although we won't be FTF (Fastest to find) we will happily claim FTF (First to Find). TFTCaches Took about 15 minutes from leaving the car to the last cache which of course we completed in reverse order.
