Perhaps it would be a good idea to disable this cache to prevent others trying to find something that isn't there.

This one is too hard to maintain

DNF – An empty field at Farringdon for us today. Sad

03-Mar-10
Spotted something quite quickly but no matter how we tried we just could not get it to release itself. Had visions of a nasty accident here, going home with a very large piece of equipment attached to my finger!! Muggles began to invade the park, school was out! Went away disappointed and did several more cache finds and came back here with a stick to try again. This time we were luckier, park was empty, we managed to push it out using our bush tool BUT wouldn't you know it?...it was only the magnet part, and the logbook appears to be completely missing. Couldn't sign it, but put the magnet back...held it close and it just lept inside beyond our reach again! Needs checking. Found a black cap out on the grass and replaced it where we think it should be. TFTC.

03-Mar-10
Needs urgent help.

P.S. Checked again on the 12th. Still the same. Just a magnet.

Got there before school was out. TFTC

15-Feb-10
Easy find to finish an evenings caching not so easy to retrieve but tools help TFTC

15-Feb-10
Another great playground for the local kids to enjoy. Clever cache tricky retrieval, TFTC

14-Feb-10
Easy find this morning as there was no-one around. Had to use tool to extract cache. Very crafty hide. TFTC

14-Feb-10
Interesting concept for a cache hide, but also a frustrating one.
Extra, super slim fingers required (I used a converted knitting needle), just to extract the cache,
And then, one of those round slim caches with an even narrower neck, that tears the log, if one can extract that too.
A lot of time spent on this cache, after having first scared off a tween on the swings.
(Who'd want to be alone in a park with two older cachers hanging around??)
Good Waypoint, meant for a quick confirmation of GZ, thanks

nice easy find tftc

14-Feb-10
2nd visit, going to have to look better the 1st time.
interesting extraction

14-Feb-10
Waited a few minutes for young muggles to leave then while area deserted made my move. Not where I thought it would be and after a couple of minutes spotted the crafty little cache. Used a key to get it out. SL was just leaving when a family arrived. They were geocachers aas well, so had a bit of a chat. TFTC

11-Feb-10
Very crafty little hide. Struggled to extract at first but made like the big bad wolf and huffed and puffed it out of there. Container needs a bit of a repair job. Magnet however doing a good job of keeping it in place for now. TFTC

11-Feb-10
Out on a small cache run with Gadget-Tron.

Interesting place for a hide. Container needs a patch up as it has come into several pieces and the magnet is free.

Located the cache just fine (even at 10am on a Sunday, having 2 young kids provides the perfect cover for close inspection of a playground!), but couldn't retrieve it to sign the log. It's a brilliant hide - one of the best we've seen. But as someone else has mentioned, the logbook seems to have been wedged a little too far into the hiding place - we could see the scroll of paper, but couldn't get it out without drawing too much attention to ourselves. May try again next time we're in the area (we visit this park quite often anyway), but still consider this a successful find even though we didn't sign the log!
TFTC, nice one!

Cap and magnet present, log either missing or pushed further down the pipe - definitely needs attention.

YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!! we found it, spent quite a bit of time crawling all over the playground looking for likely spot, but returned to where the GPS has always told us where it was, and after some extra careful examination we discovered something not quite right. A careful extraction was made of both the old and new logbooks, both signed, and it was returned carefully.

Did the repair, will check tomorrow to make sure it is all good

magnet has become detached from the cache holder

04-Feb-10
Tricky, very tricky. But no real problem at 6.00am. Found on the way to work. TFTC.

Wow, Crazy hiding spot, well placed. Signed log, TFTC

Though Cache has been damaged prior to our visit. May need some fixing.
Muggles are a big issue.

[Went with dad on this one, had a little trouble with not only muggles, but just getting the cache out. We pretty much knew where it was (nice spot!!!) but never actually got the chance to sign the log book, because in the process of] pulling it out [,it got stuck... Sad
OmaGosh, over and out...

01-Feb-10
My 2nd attempt on this one due to muggles previously. Both OmaGosh and I searched numerous possibilities before more mugglings arrived on the scene and made things somewhat awkward. Flicking a text to a certain psycho made all the difference - man that is a sneaky hide! We'd only just revealed the cache when a pair of mugglings sat right next to us and wouldn't go away! I don't think I've played on that particular structure quite so much before waiting for them to go - even as a kid! Lucky I had OmaGosh with me or I would have looked a right plonker! Unfortunately we were unable to retrieve it properly and didn't want to jeopordise the cache with other people nearby. I put it back where it was unsigned, but, sorry Spaced1, I fear it may need a maintenance tweak before other cachers can get at it.

This is a tricky little hide. No you don't need to disassemble the structure.!!

1726 Mr Spaced1, your cache is still in place, maybe not exactly as you had originally intended but will attach photo when we get near a computer. TFTC

Called in this morning, no sign of it, but then received an email that it had been re-enabled, called back but the park was crawling with muggles, gave the likely spot a covert search, but no luck, will try again when not so busy.

29-Jan-10
Well, technically Mr and Mrs Geckoh you are correct. Part of the cache is still there, but not much of a challenge to find. Up and running again. Hope this one lasts longer. Happy hunting guys and girls.

Called in tonight and cache has gone missing. Will try to get it up and going again soon.

Saw this cache pop up last night, but wasn't able to go out and find it then. Biked over this morning, to find the playground completely deserted. Quick find at GZ. Nice cache, TFTC

28-Jan-10
Was out this way this morning, so swung by for a look. I was surprised to find GZ wasn't at the playground as I expected, but at the wooden railings at the start to the park. "Ah, very clever" I thought - and the clue obviously had something to do with the street sign right there (Sandowne). After fumbling around for a while I thought maybe I should check I'd punched in the right coordinates. Doh! Sure enough, transposed one of the figures Red Face
Wandered over to where I should have been but there were a couple of little mugglets playing on GZ itself. I got the inevitable carefully phrased "good morning, how are you?" remark fom the mother who was obviously a bit concerned as to why this strange middle-aged man was walking over towards her children in the playground! Needless to say, I didn't even attempt to look and thought I'd best come back another day!

Woohoo! Joint FTF!! Saw this pop up and grabbed return2nai and Geo-Goober (sorry Skweak) and nipped out to grab. No one at GZ and Geo-Goober then had in his hot little hand before we could say Jack Robinson! SL and onto the next challenge!!

Second group to find and needed a bit of effort. Another "real" geocache cunning hide.
Wow...have to time this one right though, and will be easier find.
TFTC impressed.

Was sanding back the varnish on a door in my garage when suddenly the Jillopy team turned up in my driveway and yelled "NEW CACHE" so dusted off the pants, threw a shirt on and jumped in the back...grabbed gps but on the way over discover flat batteries so using Jillopy & Return2nai navigation get to GZ. Ponder the location and soon had cache in hand. Thanks for the joint FTF !!!

Actually just coming over to Hamilton to claim the new Zorgon puzzle and saw this pop up.
After completing the jungle trek, detoured out to here.
We initially arrived about 7.15pm but didnt stand a chance with mugglets everywhere.
Wandered off to pickup some other caches.
Lucky we had a looming thunderstorm approaching to scare them off.
Came back about 8.50 pm to claim area to ourselves and scored just on dark.
Cheatsta was with us and actually made the find Red Face.
I was expecting some GC company but no...
Nice camo well done.
TFTC.. Now back to TA through the eye of a thunderstorm.[xx(]
