We are on our way home after our road trip to WA and caching along the way. I found this one quite easily and the log was dry even though I had gone prepared with a new piece of paper and plastic bag after reading the previous log. All was good and the log signed and off to the next cache.

For the ninth day of Christmas... went caching with Froghoppin.
Just one Frog, 'cos 9 frogs a leapin' wouldn't fit in the car Razz

Off we went to the north today, and found a few things, great views, adventurous tracks, wild animals, and of course... your cache! Big Grin

The old woman's house has seen better days and the cachey bit needs a new lid. But all inside was dry and worked out just fine. That's the harsh outback for ya!

Thanks to Honey Badger Gang for placing this cache on the SA geomap Cool

HAPPY NEW YEAR Smile

Hunting around every day finding and signing using some or all of the resources of GSAK (Geocaching Swiss Army Knife), Whereyougo, Garmin Montana 750i, Montana 680t, Etrex 35, Samsung S20+, Samsung S9, with Geocaching App, c:Geo, or Geooh Go, and Android Auto and other maps... or often with just plain old dumb luck WinkCoolBig Grin Quite a lot of that actually!!!
*Logs are composed and published using GSAK of course.*

Please do stay as safe as possible when caching.
Keep a lookout for bogs, snakes, surprise cliffs, boxing roos, wombats, bulldust, and floods,
try not to get tetanus from rusty mint tins and don't fall out of trees...

in sensible safe places especially! - it keeps our game safe, fun, and interesting Cool

15-Nov-20
This weekend, I headed to Whyalla to catch up with a few other Geocachers and attempt some of the trails there. On Saturday, we targeted the FTF power trail from Whyalla to Iron Knob, and then spent the evening and the subsequent morning driving some of Whyalla's back tracks. On Sunday, I visited Cowleds Landing and back north, only to get severely bogged in one of Whyalla's clay pans. I then returned home via the August series.

Today, we started the day at a meet/greet breakfast event, and then I headed out with hevwalker and scramping for a few more geocaches south-west of Whyalla along the back tracks and main road, followed by the December trail series. I then continued south visiting Cowleds Landing and the proclaimed nudist beach. I next found *Potty Time*, only to realise that I had driven on the nearby clay pans, and then sank into the soft clay below on my way out. Eventually I had help in getting out, and finished my remaining time in Whyalla completing the pipeline August series, and calling into Whyalla Conservation Park for a few high favourite caches. I then made the long journey back to Adelaide stopping at a few miscellaneous geocaches along the way.

I noted the high Favourite Points with this geocache, so thought I would detour into this location whilst driving back home along the highway. An interesting cache in theory, but unfortunately its age is showing. The cache container doesn't appear to have a lid at the moment, but the logbook was in good shape. Thanks Newbs_Clan for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

Was travelling past for work and needed a driving break so pulled off the road to park. Managed to drive close to GZ, wandered over to GZ and had a small chuckle when I located the cache. I did have my suspicions and was not disappointed. Extracted the log, signed and replaced. Nice cache. Fun.

Found it with TICE [Hiltsu, J&T, kapeka & laalaa]

We had fun with caching few weeks here in Australia ( South Australia and Northern Territory ). Lots of geocaches and many sort of them too. We saw awesome places, weather was good all the time and people were friendly and polite. Caches were pretty similar like in our home country. Of course there were some exeptions. Nice and huge country!

Greetings from Finland!

Team ICE on a two week geocaching trip in Australia. Our main target was the Red Centre Experience at Alice Springs but of course we did some caching in other places too. We drove from Adelaide to Alice Springs and then back. We saw lots of interesting and beutiful places like opal mines at Coober Pedy, Ayers Rock and Kata Tjuta. Our rental travelled almost 6500km on gravel and tarmac roads. The weather was great, only on last day we got some rain.

All the caches logged as Team Ice, T-ice or Tice with kapeka, laalaa and Hiltsu. We had a great trip!

Today our trip continued from Port Augusta to Port Vincent. On a way we visited beautiful Weeroona Island, spend some time at Port Pirie, visited Moonta's himalayas and found many caches on the way.

Thanks for the cache and greetings from Finland!

We see many beautiful place where we visit and enjoy every cache what we found, so humble thanks every cache owner that you hiding this cache!

We (kapeka, laalaa, J&T. and Hiltsu) use common nickname Team ICE, T-ICE or TICE that we saves space in the logbook.

Thanks For To Cache!

We targeted this one today on our way past due to the number of favourites it had. We were lucky enough to be able to drive to within 21 metres of GZ (we've got a borrowed car). We spotted the cache on approach. Never seen this type of camo before!

Hi there Honey Badger Gang.

We found your cache **"There was an old woman....."** at 12:42:00 PM today. (This makes our find count 15917).

We cached between Port Augusta and Wilmington today. On our trek we found a wide variety of container types. & ended up finding 11 caches with 0 DNF's.

Thanks for placing this cache here, without geocaching as our guide we would never have found so many interesting places on our travels. We awarded this cache a favourite point for the ingenious camo.

**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found the cache around 2m from where the GPS said we should be looking. Wink
**Cache Condition:** The container and log book are in good shape.
**Took:** Nothing.
**Left:** Nothing.

Thanks for the hunt today,

Regards

Ian & Penny.

Made a little detour on our way back to Wilmington to look for this one. [^] Drove right up to GZ and found the cache soon after. Cool Cool cache container but the lid has split and the log was damp. Sad We dried it as best we could then tried to place the split so it wouldn't get more water in it, but it does need replacing. [?]
Thanks for the cache Honey Badger Gang. Smile

Unfortunately I was now on my way back home after a great couple of weeks getting to Perth, I guess it had to happen at some point. I am now really close to the end, but not before attend the June Long Weekend events nearby in Wirrabara.

First cache of the day after a quick breakfast in Port Augusta. This was much further off the main road than expected, but a worthwile stop. A quite unique hide.

There was fun, laughter Big Grin, silliness [:o)], tense moments, some creative driving (on road, off-road, dirt, sand, mud, water, tackling what could be described as a very steep and narrow bmx track...yep you heard me!) Cool, breath holding Surprised, kindness [:X], tight time schedules, ladder climbing, feet getting wet, dolphins, a boat, fish, nanos, ammos, sistema of all sizes and a number of mint tins. Surprisingly few DNFs. And LOTS of other mad crazy conversations and adventures. Gotta love caching and all of the fun it can be!! [:o)] CoolWinkRazzBig Grin [^]
