Cache 1324 Headed up this way today to start tackling this months challenge “finding favourites” so it’s a hunt for another 50-100 caches needed before June but I’m always up for a challenge so took a nice Sunday drive
Muggles that we’re playing on the tennis court looked at me funny when I returned within 3mins after heading into the bush walk they must have thought short walk quick easy find in good shape T4TC

Flew down from Auckland this morning to a beautiful day in the Catlins. No seals on the beach today but we will look for some more tomorrow. Found the cashe this afternoon easy find. Needs a new log book. Thanks for the cache!
Thank you for leading me to the big swing at Kaka Point. It was my very first find. Had to use a hint, but after that it was reasonably easy.
A quick find and log before tea and the predicted rain tomorrow. Loving our stay at Kaka Point. TFTC the prydes.
Such a good descriptive hint that we went straight to the cache with no need of the GPS. Thanks for placing.
Staying for a night at Kaka Point campground and logged the cache nearby.
Thanks for hidding.
Thanks for hidding.
Out and about enjoying the hidden gems of our country.
On a recycle dump trip we thought we would look for a few caches around the township of Kaka Point.
After MrF tried to navigate me into the camping ground ( wrong green symbol) found a park and off for a walk.
Cache was easily found. All in good dry condition. TFTC

Found it up the tree so have hidden it at base again. Log a little damp but writable. Was staying at campground so thought it rude not to do this. TFTC
Took a short walk to the cache although had driven most of the elevation ! Thanks
Found - Mrs McMike2012 & I now live full-time in our caravan & travel the country visiting places we want to visit … we are now parked up at Nugget Point for a couple of days, exploring in & around the area … we thought we needed to do a couple of caches … found cache with no issues, log completed & cache returned … pleased to add another 'smiley face' to the tally … TFTC ... TN:LN:SL ... #2,118 for us.
AliGle and I were doing a bit of a tour around the south of the South Island in a Jucy Camper over a few weeks. Day 5 we spent exploring Dunedin city in the morning, before heading down to the Catlins this evening. We were staying in the campground here, so went for the loop walk in the bush and grabbed this cache along the way. TFTC!
With Vistra on our world tour of the South Island. Staying at Kaka Point for the night and grabbed the cache. All good here.
Found on a pre-dinner walk.
This cache was found on our second summer campervan trip. JDScout and I plan to do three this summer. This trip is from Christchurch to Bannockburn to the Catlins and back.
Thanks for hiding this cache the prydes I appreciate it. It has helped add an extra layer of fun in our holiday.

#10,383. My Southland and Otago geocaching trip continues. After a day exploring the Catlins, I still have some more caches to find near Nugget Point. Then its onto Dunedin. But first the diversion back south once more and I stopped here to find this cache. Shame about the bitterly cold and very strong winds today. This cache took me quite a while to spot. If I had looked more carefully at the first place checked I would have said quick and easy find. But no I didn't so widened the search and after checking a lot of places came back and had a proper look. And there it was before my eyes. Hmmm. Oh well. Signed the logbook and replaced the container where found. Thanks the prydes for hiding it here.
Quick find on our way down south for Miss S.A.S 50th birthday which was Friday TFC

Stunner of a day & Kaka Point, Nugget Point and Tunnel Hill.

Quick find for us here. RG also got up close and personal with the local bird life. TFTC the prydes.
Day 6 of a road trip around the South Island for us, and today was Moeraki to Owaka. We had a great stay in Moeraki - some great accomodation and a good experience at the pub. But we have some distance to travel today and goals for our first taste of the Catlins, so the first part of the trip was an exercise in restraint. Just the 3 caches out of Moeraki to the main road, then just 3 others before Dunedin. We got lunch there and walked around town to pick up some while RG indulged in some shopping, then headed south.
We visited Kaka Point, Nugget Point and Tunnel Hill before reaching our digs for the night.
A fantastic day. Great sights, awesome weather. Thanks all COs and sorry for the cut and paste. If there are no further comments the cache is in good shape.

Found it with the Finn family in their second try so ignore the DNF they posted. Great bush walk for kids!
I write "WRITE NOTE" because it is a time when we can't go on a long adventure, so I travel in the memories of my visits to New Zeusemad. Of this adventure in New Zealand, I only stretch Travel Bug. Writing "FOUND IT" is probably not right anymore, it wasn't today, but I was here before. And unfortunately I won't get here again.
I am sending a beautiful greeting from the Czech Republic.

Time for a quick walk and leave my calling card here. Cheers.
Tuesday 10 November. We are camped out in Owaka. Its exploring Nugget Point, Kaka Point and up towards Balclutha today. Then Moving Zara along to Balclutha later today. Lets move!
Toby, Zara and I are on a 3 week geo adventure of Cromwell, Southland, Catlins, Balclutha with a day in Dunedin and quick stop in Timaru. With Lenny, my trusty navigator and TBD my companion/mascot. we managed to visit lots of green boxes, now happy faces with the odd sad one. Did some LABs , earth caches, virtuals and wherigos, all chucked into the mix to rack up 500 odd caches. Lots of kilometers, lots of exploring and lots of fun. Thanks to all COs for our wonderful experience.
