In the area to attend a 50th Birthday celebration and stopped to grab this one Tftc
Out caching with my caching buddy, MrsShep77, and our faithful drivers. Thanks for the great hides.
Theres an easier way than following the hint. Were heading to Whyalla today after doing parkrun this morning in Port Augusta. Tftc
Pretty easy grab from the old old road, i chucked a new piece of paper in since the log is pretty full. TFTC
On our travels we stopped to grab this cache, we should have read the hint first instead of going under then up, but soon had the hide in hand, thanks for placing it
Adelaide to Port Lincoln Road Trip!
Day Two: Quorn to Whyalla.
Weather: sensational.
Be careful with the kids at this GZ - drug syringes noted close to GZ. I think you are actually better off here by doing the hint in the reverse order - that’s what I ended up doing. Maybe the cache has crept.
Thanks for the hide Newbs_clan.
It’s officially a Mega!

Found it TFTC Found in good condition. Yep more up than under, a few weeds to fight
On my way home from Whyalla to Adelaide. Couldn’t find this one last time so swung by to have another search. Happily have turned a sad blue face into a yellow smiley one. Thanks
Another cache found during our 2022 South Australia Adventure using Geocaching as our guide.
We enjoyed our drive along the Ye Olde Whyalla Road.
Thanks for the cache NewbsGang

What an epic journey we have had, just returned home from the holiday of a life time, we managed to catch up with PP2 for some caching at times, oh the memories and laughter!! Now it's time to catch up with the logging, thank you to every CO who has placed caches for us to find along the way TFTC
It's birthday week for the cats so Purrfect Di and Mattycat decided to go do some birthday caching and see what we can unwrap in the way of log books. Yours was one we found along the way, with the help of Jack. A fun drive north west ish with a whole bunch of fresh smilies!!!
We went under.
Then we went up!
Cache was there... happy days One wonders why the road no longer needs a bridge.
Sincere appreciation goes to Honey Badger Gang for placing and maintaining this cache on our geo game map
---
Searching around every day finding and signing using some or all of the resources of GSAK (Geocaching Swiss Army Knife), Whereyougo, Garmin Montana 750i, Montana 680t, Etrex 35, Samsung S20+, Samsung S9, with Geocaching App, c:Geo, or Geooh Go, and Android Auto and other maps... or often with just plain old dumb luck Quite a lot of that actually!!!
*Logs are composed and published using GSAK of course.*
---
Please do stay as safe as possible when caching.
Keep a lookout for bogs, snakes, surprise cliffs, boxing roos, wombats, bulldust, and floods,
try not to get tetanus from rusty mint tins and don't fall out of trees...
-- -- -- -- -- -- -- but especially lookout for bugs from alpha to omega !!! . [xx(]
Try to keep Travel Bugs as the only bugs you share and pass on
Now our borders are open - even more important to sanitise and safely distance!!!
Much appreciation of all those placing quality caches out and about around the countryside,
in sensible safe places especially! - it keeps our game safe, fun, and interesting
[^] [:o)] [^]
A great caching start to Twenty Twenty Too

Always good to clean up a previous DNF. Today I returned and looked a bit more up and ignored the under part and soon made the find. #NLAMT.
Thanks for the cache Honey Badger Gang.
Found on 14/3/21 at 12:06.
Find #13132.

A bit tricky as I approached from the wrong side. However the cache was soon in hand. TFTC
This weekend, I headed to Whyalla to catch up with a few other Geocachers and attempt some of the trails there. On Saturday, we targeted the FTF power trail from Whyalla to Iron Knob, and then spent the evening and the subsequent morning driving some of Whyalla's back tracks. On Sunday, I visited Cowleds Landing and back north, only to get severely bogged in one of Whyalla's clay pans. I then returned home via the August series.
Today, I travelled from Adelaide to Whyalla, making a few brief stops along the way. I needed to arrive at Port Augusta for the geocaching event, and after having dinner, I made the slow approach to Whyalla finding the geocaching trails along the old road, including *Port Augusta's First PT* series, arriving rather late.
Ahh, so this was the "olde" Whyalla Road then? How interesting. After checking a few places and made my way up, I soon had the cache in hand. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. It was interesting to see a peg keeping the logbook together here. I was also going to take the short way back, but decided a twisted ankle wasn’t worth it. Thanks Newbs_Clan for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

Enjoying a relaxing long weekend going for a cruise, chilling, camping and caches. Life is good.

We intentionally by-passed this one yesterday but decided to come back today. It's very hot here today. TFTC
Doesn’t need Maintanence. We first found a duplicate that was empty!!. Great hide.
Hi there Honey Badger Gang. We are on holiday and currently in South Australia on our way home to the west (Perth). While travelling we found this cache after a short search - and the container and log are in good condition. TN, LN, SL. Thanks to Honey Badger Gang for this cache - our find 7336
Came and had a look, even used the hint. No cache could be seen today.
There was a big Emu though.

We have been travelling since January when we left Geelong and travelled up the centre to Alice then Darwin. We crossed the border into WA at the start of May and completed the Gibbs river road which has been one of the highlights so far
From Broome we travelled to cape leveque to find the best beach ever
From Broome we have then zig zagged from coast to inland to make sure we saw as much as we could
We are travelling along at our own pace and so will cache and see as much of the area as we can
Honestly it’s thank to caching that we get to see so much
TFTC
We have decided to stop in port Augusta for a few days as it seems to always be a place we drive straight through on our way back and forth up and down the centre

Found with gridge98 as we headed to Port Lincoln.

On my two day trip to Port Lincoln with e.gregory1, we stopped everyone and again to collect some target caches along the way. Majority of the trip was based around collecting puzzles and LGAs. Unfortunately we hit a kangaroo not too far past port wakefield but car is a bit dented.
I random spot of the side of the road, there is a lot of rubbish here, maybe a CITO one day.

Another perfect Winter day for a drive around while at Port Augusta.
Today's mission was to tackle the winds and P A's 1st P.T and a few others as well.
Not many muggles around here today and mostly good quick finds.
Thanks for the cache Honey Badger Gang, cheers from the Riverina, NSW,

Log wasn’t in cache plus it was ripped and wet although good hide found with billy bobs
Needing a 'break' (represented by the 16th letter of the alphabet ), I made a swift find of this cool hide in a lovely location that the kangaroos also love SL at 08:32 on Sat 10 Mar 2018. The log within is dry [^] TFTC Honey Badger Gang
Cool spot! Felt like a detective when I found it! Quite small, no goodies but had fun finding and left a shell.
We are camping at the Shoreline Caravanpark and we were looking for some caches in the neighbourhood. Then we found this trail. A nice quied road and we saw a lot of kangaroos. Thank you for this trail.
Some caches are not found for a long time. These should be replaced or archived.
A lot of bees here!

We were in town for a overnighter and decided to grab a few caches early this morning before hitting the road for home. Pulled up beside the gz and after a little searching about made the find, co-ord's were spot on for me which helped for a quick grab. Thanks Newbs Clan for the cache.
Found this with CherryRose on our way home from the South Australian Rural Women's Gathering in Cleve TFTC TNLNSL
Quick easy find with Beary Organised on way home to the Adelaide Hills. TFTC TNLNSL
