Accio 11:01:32After a lovely little hike, a couple of other simple ccahes near the road/path and an awesome coffee break with APple Pie ... OzBeanCounter and I nabbed this one on our way home. A busy spot, but an easy find. Thanks cslyoda for entertaining me at this location. *{Overall find #12688}*
I've driven past this cache WAY WAY too many times. WAY too many times. Today was the day to stop procrastinating and just make the find. Thankfully it was fairly easy. TFTC cslyoda, all good here.
30 June 2024 4:46pmAnother happen-stance to be in this area again. This was a really quick park and grab, however as I went to return the cache there was an influx of traffic, so I spent some time taking photos of the bush nearby while I waited. Thanks for the cache.
I have driven past here many times on the way to other places so decided that today was the day to stop and search! Found after having a second check after not finding it on the first pass! I think the pipe is an escape tunnel in case of a zombie apocalypse!TFTC
With a few hours to kill this afternoon and after a big long weekend last weekend I popped out to pick up a few caches and keep up the good numbers for the year this far.I headed west this afternoon and had an adventure lab and a few unknowns on the radar. I parked the car and quickly made my way to GZ and quickly located the cache. Log extracted and mark made I was soon back on the route to the car and off to the next adventure.A big thanks to the cache owner for making this cache available for fellow cachers to enjoy.Cheers
Fridays off are great for caching, this morning I went and got breaky with the girls and we got a series of 5 caches. After lunch Im meeting up with family for another caching loop. This is stop number 1 after meeting at the cafe across the road. The guests on the balcony eating lunch would have been curious what 5 people were doing and looking for. Few spider webs to brush out the way but Al g for this cache. TFTC. Found with Laura, Angus, Mel and Kynan!
Bit trickier than expected for us,we all looked there but missed it without the pic
Stopped nearby for lunch after doing some cached at Lake Manchester today.
Since there was this cache nearby, it would be rude not to find and grab another smiley face.

I was heading out to find Berocca Tubes today and picked this one up on the way. Very quick find. TFTC!
26.02.23 - our co-ordinates were slightly off and the hint wasn’t super helpful as although the cache is metal and hidden in metal it’s not magnetic.
Thought I’d swing by in between jobs to make a quick find but alas I could find it, but k will return to hopefully find it
Found with silverfox1970 and firebatman88 whilst waiting for a local event to start. Thanks for placing.
When I awoke this morning to pouring rain, I figured that today's event nearby would be cancelled. Actually, no I didn't. Cachers are a determined bunch so I figured there was absolutely no point in calling Chamad to see if there was a change of plans for the day. So, I dragged the kids out of bed at 6:30 on a Sunday morning. They were not too impressed, but I promised them cupcakes at the event and a ride on a vehicle ferry - something they have never done.
They "survived" the event and then "survived" the lovely walk through the forest collecting caches, in the rain. What is not to love about walking through a muddy forest in the pouring rain? It should be a kid's delight. Well, I had fun. A chance to catch up with others, meet new people and share the muddy walk in the rain. An enjoyable Sunday morning. This was the last cache we found before jumping in the car and caching our way back home.

So I mentioned to triple turmoil that there was an event on tomorrow and it’s probably one the kids would enjoy too. With that, I got picked up on the way and we decided to take the Moggill ferry for some extra excitement. The thought of a cupcake for morning tea was enticing. After the event it was a walk around the bushland grabbing a few caches and an earth cache, all while dodging the rain and intermittent showers.
It was a mob walk and we ended up signing a couple of the caches as MM Event to save on space in the logs. We replaced the log in one cache and then continued the walk around. Thanks for the hides and the placements here today.

We planned to attend the event and then to cache around the area as we travelled.
Logs were logged as MME to save space.
Nice quick find.
Travelling with RoddyC Imbunda and Patrol14.

Headed straight to the likely spot, and there's it was. We might not manage to get out caching much lately, but the geo-senses are still intact! A nice quick find for our first cache in some time. Thanks for the cache
Found it after confusing ourselves. GPS position is pretty good on this one. Tricky one. Very good.
This pipeline was placed here for as a new joy ride similar to a mono rail and the rail carts that were going to be used are now at the bottom of the river that they crashed into. Would have been fun. I found the container thanks to my go go gadget tool but the log book was ruined so i popped in a new one in a zip lock bag. Thanks for placing this cache here for us to enjoy and the fun of guessing what these pipes are used for
Found it very quickly we have retrieved the 'treasure' find and replaced it. Very fun thxx
Quick find of an empty container so I left a replacement log. Thanks for the cache
Came out this way for a morning of bushwalking and geocaching. Found this one before it got too busy. After signing one of the scraps of paper, I did find the new log in its plastic bag - so it doesn't need a new logsheet. Tftc
Today, I joined karicka in a morning hike in the Dandy Ranges, walking past part of Lake Manchester. It was a nippy morning that got warm, with a number of steep hills walked up and down. After lunch, jesswrigley and I headed to the northern suburbs, where we stopped off at Strathpine, Leis Park, Petrie and Old Petrie Town, and completed the *The North Pine Heritage Trail* Adventure Lab. We ended up running out time exploring Old Petrie Town, so another trip to be scheduled no doubt.
I parked right next to GZ, and started to look around the obvious hiding spot. It took a little to spot/find in fact. The cache container was in good shape, and the logbook was iffy. There is an old logbook in a clump and wet, but a freshly placed logbook was fine and able to be signed. Thanks cslyoda for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

Took us a short while to find it. Miss 10 saw it first! Good fun during peak hour with lots of confused onlookers haha
Thanks for this! Definitely a difficult place to be inconspicuous, maybe come on a weekday or in the evening!
After sitting out in the elements for ten years, I’d look a little tired too... I spent some time here... first I removed the dozen or so crumpled balls of log book and attempted to straighten them as best I could... I then added a new log and a new container that relates to the clue better...
Tftc... not sure what all the passing traffic thought I was doing... but I looked busy...

Chose the wrong time of day to be inconspicuous. Especially cos it took about 10 minutes to find. 3 young kids in tow didn’t help.
Found the pipeline that the brewery said that they were going to build to my house.
Cant trust anyone these days
Thanks for hiding this cache

Found with Bluewattle Junior and Bluewattle Mini whilst on holidays in the area
Found the log out in open on ground under bolt and screw - not quite sure about the set up. From previous logs it seems it was an Eclipse tin. Name added to log and placed a little further under but will need to be looked at by CO I think.

Quick easy find next to the wombat Highway.
These pipes are similar to the roped wildlife overpasses, but were installed back when there were more wombats in the area, before all the residential development. The wombat Highway (pipeline) connects the nature refuges of Mt Crosby with Mt Coot-tha. Sadly no wombats hv been seen in the area in recent years.
