Sorry, I obviously haven't been to this section of the Broadwater lately. I saw the fences up when I last drove past and thought is was related to the Fun Run.
The development of the Broadwater has been planned for quite a while now and it is now this sections turn to be extended out into the broadwater with the dumping of a lot of dirt/rock/sand.
The cache is either bulldozed or buried at this stage as the works in this area are quite extensive and have totally changed the area.
I am archiving this cache and hopefully soon we will have a whole new area to explore.
Thanks for the heads up Louise.Jake. Cheers!!

The area has been turned into a building site so I'm guessing the cache has been dug up too!
DNF - the council man advised that they only placed rocks in this location two weeks ago so believe this cache to be hidden under the massive pile
Slight breeze today so not too hot for a wander between judging diving events at the domestic Grand Prix. The pool has had some renovations getting ready for Commonwealth Games in 2018. Some Aussies struggling with outdoor pool concept. All good with cache, exactly where expected. Took Optical TB, sadly no Kiwi TB in there.

I arrived near GZ and didn't like the prospect of a find. Add to the hint "under fisherman". One for next time.
This was our last day of caching on the Gold Coast.
Its about a year ago that we 1st had a look for this one, this time we found it quiet easily.
Luckily the weather was not the best so very few walkers around. Makes the job that much easier.
Thanks radnoski for placing this cache.

Tftc. First tried to locate the cache from the grass. After moving to right level, the cache revealed itself.
Working on something else and thought this cache sounded familiar - totally forgot to log it after finding really early one morning while waiting for the shop to open for dive tanks! It filled in the 15 minutes waiting time! TFTC, great spot.
Nice little find at 9:00pm after being asked if we were okay by muggles. Waited for them to leave. TFTC.
Passing south a real titan was guarding the hide. On my way back it was all clear.
Thanks for the hide

Down this way to buy kayaks we were early so decided to grab a few while down here. TFTC
Took a bit of searching at night with matty16 on our last day of our holiday from WA
Great hide and quick find on a lovely day out geoing with the family and a friend. Left a travel gift tftc
Thanks for the tree climb saw a dog and skateboarder and a dolphin the end from BJ
Hello from new Zealand thanks for the cache dropped off a TB for it to start its travels
Easy find on a drizzly mornin. Dropped off GC which I picked up in a cache in Kangaroo Valley, NSW. TFTC.
Wasn't looking forward to this one after a rock wall experience in Ballina, however all my fears were unfounded. It was at the first place I checked...experience maybe? Tftc.
A couple of muggers trying to see if they could help me find what I'd lost waited for them to move off then spotted the prize, TFTC Took TB "Swiss Raclette-Air", we are off on a plane trip tonight!!
We found no rubbish around to pick up and only a plastic frog in the box but we found it Boband Joy
Well today unfortunately there was very little of blue, green and gold to be seen. More like grey and green. At had started raining slightly and one could tell more was on its way. Thankfully today this was a nice easy find. Even better, there was no rubbish at the high tide mark. Tidy little Aussies may be finally getting the message. We can only hope. TFTC. TNLN. SL.
Watched Muggle and muggle dog having fun in the water before snatching this cache. Great hide. GO THE TITANS.
We thought it wasn't under there but then lifted small rock and found it. Thanks GC for all the adventures
Read comment by @sonic_25417. It was hidden well (but it wasn't too hard to find in the dark haha)
In the midst of our night time quest, a muggle approached us and became suspicious of our activity...only to ask us if we were smoking billies. HA! Little did he know we found the cache
This one ended up being our last one for the day due to bad weather got drenched riding back to the car from this cache, was a quick find after we waited for a few groups of muggle groups to walk past

A quick trip down this way visiting some friends staying for holidays at the caravan park. They are retired and do a lot of travelling so I mentioned Geocaching to them. After an explanation and a quick check of the phone luckily there is one within 500m so off we head for a walk. Arriving at GZ we let Jimmy get down and look through the potential hiding spots whole we keep an eye out for Muggles... He found it quickly and was quite chuffed. We signed our name and then realised it was a minor milestone for us. Glad we could share it with friends and hopefully get them hooked. Thanks for placing the 600th cache that we have found so far radnoski !
Replaced the container today.
Brought gloves and a bag but no sign of broken glass in it's hiding spot. Will CITO some cans and paper while I am here. Cheers!

Sorry I didn't realise there were so many DNFs on this one.
I will replace the container soon and check the area for broken glass etc when replacing.
Cheers!!

Cleveland girl and I had a good poke around in between muggles. No luck. Gave up after I got a fish hook left behind from an uncaring fisherman stuck in my finger. Tftc anyway. Broncos rule!
Had to watch out for a muggle fishing very close. Many friendly dogs around too. I like the 'black' Sistema, looks like it is original black. TFTC

Today was a beautiful mild Ekka holiday. Perfect to collect the odd cache. So I took the kids down to the Broadwater to get them out of the house and away from their computer games.
After 2 DNF's in a row in this park, I made my first find nearby and wandered along the path to this one. Some fishing muggles were not far away, so I distracted the fishing retirees (who hadn't caught a fish today yet) and the two eldest kids made the find. The third Crooked Rugrat watched everything from the top of the nearby tree, as only a 6 year can. Everything replaced, including the only pen I had on me today (thanks to my daughter), with the fishing muggles none the wiser.
Thanks for the cache, Radnoski. Here's hoping the Titans finish the season strongly.

I've never heard of the Titans!!! In my territory it's the Eagles or the Dockers. Wrong code, but that's all people care about. A quick find of a nicely tucked away cache. Thanks radnoski.
Nice walk on a sunny day around the Southport Broad water. Great spot for the cache thank you
Catching up on caches not logged. Found while on holidays at the near by caravan park.
Easy find because the cache was open and everything was thrown on the rocks
We put everything bavk and hid it again TFTC

Team colours appeared to be drab grey today... cloudy & very wet! And anyway... Go the Bulldogs! TFTC
Found for the second time with some new, young, enthusiastic cachers on a school outing
Very easy! No trackable in there tho! Was going to take back to nsw with me today
Everyone out in the park relaxing and picnicing for ANZAC day. Five large dogs and their muggles playing fetch at the water's edge at GZ. evetually found and looged. Left some small erasers to brightn contents. TFTC
