Looks like Grannys Cache has gone along with teh hiding place.
Hopefully Granny II Cache will pop up soon.

Was showing this cache to a couple of friends today and I think Granny has gone to the other side. There has been a LOT of tree pruning in the area and I think this one has gone bye-byes.
Went looking at lunch. Trees are all cut down or lower branches cut off at gz... could not find cache. Maybe I didn't search well enough but owner should check to make sure relevant tree is standing?
First we found he nearby scimitar but could that be it?
No it wasn't but a bit more beating around the bush and there it was.
Hooray.
Cache followed by Pizza at the Helenic Club.

After a while of searching for the right tree it was a fast find.

First attempt of caching with my partners in crime and found it after a few arguments with my GPS. Great spot.
Thought for a moment the nearby construction would cause blockages, but you could easily get around it.
Well we took the longest route to find this cache and just as we came upon the GZ, Zita spotted a muggle resting under the trees. Our frustration must have shown because he soon moved off and left us to continue the hunt. Found the hide without too much trouble. All is in good condition TNLNSL TFTC
After finally finding BB V we noticed another nearby cache. We found this one quite quickly just on sunset and we did get attacked by an army of mozzies so we quickly signed the log and we made our escape. TFTC
The magpies are friendly and one was up for a walk. It walked straight up to me then followed me down the track. I went cross country a few meters and thought the maggie was gone, but it came to see what I was doing and inspect the cache with me. Was happy to find this one, but happier to get back to the car as the small tear in my shorts created by fence wire at Bridge Banter IV became a long rip when I was retrieving Grannys Cache, glad to be lone warrior on this one. Nice Hide, TFTC
Yes! Nearest one to work that isn't a bb!!
After discovering how friendly the maggies were, it 'twas a nice simple find.

A simple cache in a peaceful location, despite being so close to the town centre. tftc
My first cache find! Now I'm hooked!

Nice spot. Good camo paint job very hard to see even tho you are looking pretty much right at it.
My first cache with Piglet - there was jumping for joy. he he.
Very VERY cool camo!

Found this while on a caching-fix trip from Nowra, Thanks for the cache Jmanjezza, and for honouring your granny!
Nice one. Went back with baby2552 whose mother is going to spit when she finds out how close they came to it but didn't spot it.
Found with geokid. Familiar container! My Granny used to give these to me (empty of course) when I was a kid!

Hoping for a quick find before seeing a film, and it was either this or a Bridge Banter! SL - TFTC
In Canberra for a squash tournament at Woden squash courts so always time for a quick cahe, especially around the corner
Picked the correct side of the fence and poked around for a reasonably quick find.

Yet another pretty spot right near a built up area I would have never found if it wasn't for the cache. Nice hide. I liked the camo touch.
It had been ages since I last wandered these hallowed grounds. Saw the small windmills rotating, yet no breeze... Were the spirits guiding us to this GC? Found with the Geohound (who was loving his extended walk!)
Found with Torrevieja and the geohound after a nice stroll through the cemetary (that i never knew existed before!)
Thanks!
Thanks!
Thought I might be on the wrong side of the fence, but lucked the right side. TFTC.
I was in the area doing a bit of caching, and added this to my list. Couldnt see the cache at first, but its all just a matter of viewpoint really.
Thanks for the cache

Decided to risk not buying a parking voucher & was hoping for a very quick find. It would have been quicker if I'd approached from the right angle - after trying to make it a little harder than necessary it ended up as a relatively easy find (certainly easier than I had expected). TFTC - and regards to Granny.
Went for a short walk from the nearby shopping centre while Anna got her nails done... Easy enough to find, but difficult to retrieve with 20 or so people at work on the other side of the fence shovelling mulch. They disappeared soon enough. TFTC.
A quick find once I was on the right side of the fence. My GPS map suggested I had to approach from the other side, so I walked through the park, only to return to the car and drive around to the other side. TFTC
Walking around the park searching for an evil but exciting multi. Quick and easy find. Tftc!
Thankfully I found this one. After three consecutive DNFs I was starting to become disappointed.
Log is really wet.
Thanks for the cache.

Found this one a bit soggy, so flipped it upside down so it won't get any worse if we have any more drizzly Canberra weather. The trees may have been throwing the coordinates on my GPS off a little. T4TC
TFTC,
A nice spot for a quiet stroll and quiet contemplation.

Might be a nice little area when you ride by but it seemed a little odd for us today. First we discover a group of teen's hidden at the base of a tree, god knows what they were up to, then a car came out of know where and squeezed itself through the copper log barriers, that was amusing as it scrapped all the way through. anyway found the cache. walked back and the teens headed into the cemetery, hmmm. TFTC!
As Fraggles said, was a weird walk over to GZ. And we didn't have to walk all that far!! I was still hunting when the other two had the cache in hand. But I used to walk through this area on the way to work many years ago. Thanks for the cache, and interesting walk.
Silly people in a car were driving where they shouldn't be. And I found the cache while Wasptor was still looking!
Found @ 3:13pm
A peaceful spot although there were heaps of cockatoos about. Found after a short search - the log was damp but I was still able to sign it, TFTC!

An easy find after a short walk - interesting to see how the long fingers of development keep stretching out in this area. TFTC

had a bit of rain yesterday so I had to wait for the clear blue skys today, and took geodog for a short walk around the area, nice look up the tree lined road and plenty of muggles walking through here enroute to their work, found quickly thanks for the walk.
PS you still have a maint. require icon you can clear it using the maint. log function, as cache looks ok to me.

Thought I'd do a quick drive-by afterwork and had at least looked at the map. But upon arrival at my planned car-park I ferreted through the handbag to reveal no GPS. Damn. Well....I'm here now may as well have a look. Ferrett in handbag again for a pen...feeling for something long and cylindrical out comes some lip-stick....hang on try again...longer, wider....nah - another lip-stick....finally a pen...more furtive feeling reveals the led-lenser headtorch...YAY - proof I'm not totally girly. Well....clue in mind I wander off to the site in the dark with an idea of the google maps - the landscape has of course totally changed since they were taken. Hmmm....oh well - a quick wander now I'm here and an obvious location was quickly spotted in the shadows. Glad I did have the headtorch as a quick inspection revealed the cache in the first place I attempted. Whew - back to the car....and believe it or not all that only took 6 minutes. Cheers TFTC.
Found on the weekend - not many muggles in sight. Nice hide. Took the time to visit my brother and geowifes father (happy birthday) in the cemetary after.

After paying my respects to my late Grandfather for ANZAC day, this cache was a wonderful way to cheer myself up. TFTC
A nice easy find after The Dawn Service and also after visiting my grandmothers grave at the cemetery. The clue really helped. Left dice, took nothing. TFTC.[:o)]
Took a nice stroll around the cemetery and paid respects to my geo-partner's veteran grandfather for ANZAC day before finding this one with ease. TFTC.

Second of three on a lunch time run.
I had looked for this one previously without finding it, but had more luck this time. Found very quickly much to my relief. I am SURE I looked there last time!

Found at 1310. Having found Bridge Banter V nearby, the day was too good not to go for a walk, so this one was next on the list. As I started to near GZ, I spotted numerous council workers lopping off tree limbs, and thought then and there I would be coming back another day to grab this one. Once at GZ, I was somewhat sheltered from them by the surrounding trees, and after a bit of a look, the cache was found with no problems.
Thanks.
Thanks.
After being stuck in a no office all morning with no windows I was itching to get out for a quick find during my all too short lunch break. A quick drive to Phillip and only a hundred metre walk slightly dented the cravings.
Managed to time my ascent to GZ in between muggle walking groups. Fortunately found the cache nice and quickly, signed log and got back on the walking tack before being spotted.

Nice classic easy find in an area nearby a lot of people taking their final rest, they don't come much easier that this as I could see it sticking out as I approached.
The log was fairly damp and starting to get a bit moldy, I was able to write on it with the inbuilt pencil w/o ripping it but I gave it a good airing for a few minutes in the sunlight to dry it out a bit.
TFTC, replaced with a bit of extra cover that I hope doesn't blow off too quick.

Accompanied with varuna and alchemy2, we enjoyed walk along to the cache, Varuna found the cache. SL. Thanks Jmanjezza
Got it! Hmmm thought nano would be more nano.
The Geowifes Mum is also is resting in this place. It's quite a solemn area.
Looks like the area had been flooded with the big down pour we had a week ago, can confirm the log is damp but usable. Probably just needs a dry in the sun. TFTC!

Found on our road trip to the Wagga Mega event.
Think this one might have been dislodged a bit, replaced in most likely spot.

Found cache exposed 13m from GZ. Placed back there and according to description. T4TC, M@
Nearly didn't find this, and then it was discovered out in the open lying on the ground. We put it back as near as possible to where we thought it should be - the stump. Cheers Gav [5150]
Tried to get here, took a no left turn next to the police station. The road was blocked! We decided to head off elsewhere instead!
Found it on a walk with Tallpaulf. The local muggles must have thought we were strange - walked past them 4 times.
#45 Wanted a gentle walk today, so fillyfam and I went to tidy up Woden Warren, and dropped by here as well. Of course, we walked straight past GZ to get to the cemetery, and then found ourselves on the wrong side of the fence, and had to walk all the way back around. TFTC - nice camo!
A return to a familiar location. I had enjoyed cycling around this spot hunting down a nearby multi some time ago. TFTC.
Apart from waiting for muggle walkers to pass no real problems finding. Thanks.
