Logs
As there's been either no response from the cache owner, no cache to find or log to sign, or it's been a number of months since the last owner note. I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace/make available the cache sometime in the near future (next 30 days), just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the current guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it. Should you replace the cache after 30 days has passed please create a new cache listing so it can be reviewed as a new cache.
The cache appears to be in need of owner intervention. I'm temporarily disabling it, to give the owner an opportunity to check on the cache, and take whatever action is necessary. Please respond to this situation in a timely manner (i.e., within 30 days) to prevent the cache from being archived for non-responsiveness. If you require more time please be sure to post a note (not an email) explaining the situation and how much more time you require. For ongoing issues please ensure you visit the page and post a note every month or so to keep everyone up to date.

Had a look in spite of all the DNF's.. Noticed that the CO couldn't find it back in April last year. That's long enough time to replace. Lets get it of the map so cachers don't waste time looking for something that's not there.
Well, I have to say it is not ot where my GPS indicates it to be. Will log a maintenance request.
Hello higgins-clan,
I was disturbed by a farmer setting a cane fire while looking but believe I was in the correct place and have shown it as a DNF. I had a group of trackables to visit, but not this time.
Can you check the cache out please.
Thanks, wazza9

we looked but found nothing especially if its a largish container. could be an idea to check on it
I had a quick look, nothing jumped out at me. After reading the logs i quickly went on my merry way.
four of us spent a good half hour scouring the area. No sign of this cache. Will have another look one day soon.
Went to see if this cache needed maintenance today but couldn't find it
Will see if other catchers come up with the goods as it was only seen 3 weeks ago

Found at 0915 with Marg. After driving about a KLM on the worst maintained road in the area. We found the cache full of water emptied out the water and the round jelly balls that somehow filled the container. The log was soaked so after cleaning out the cache I place a temp log in the cache. This cache may ned some TLC. TFTC.
Found it think i am the first thers after the floods contents a bit damp took trackable
I took a good look, as tactfully as possible, but there were so many muggles around! Some young guys thought it would be great to pull up, say "ay" and then do a burnout on the gravel road. I decided luck was not with me on this one and headed off.
Pulled up and was about to start searching when farmer Brown arrived to see if I was lost. Told him I was looking for a little plastic box . We had a chat about geocaching, but I don’t think he’ll be a player. He said, “I’ve lived this long in blissful ignorance, think I might just continue to do so.” He clattered off in his tractor and I found the cache after a small search. Would have liked to have shown the farmer, but he was a spec in the distance by then. TN/LN/SL
The container size was a bit smaller than anticipated however was found quickly TFTC higgins-clan
Well what do you know - the guy who passed us a few minutes earlier was pulled up at the bridge. Cacher or not?
We decided that we were taking photos of the sunrise as we don't think he was a cacher - probably a cane farmer.

Another find on the way to Flanno's (recycling) Tip Shop. Well hidden so it took us a while to find it! Not a snake in sight but made plenty of noise before retrieving cache just in case. It was lightly stocked so we added a few items. TFTC.
Lucky findings today. 5 out of 5. We collected this cache on our way back from shopping in Tweed Heads. Another one found by the kids. They get soooo excited when they find them first! Nelsoncrewau
New co ordinates lead us to a pile of rocks with a snake. Needless to say we didn't proceed in looking!
This one had eluded me last time - so I wanted to grab it this time round.
Inspecting the logs at GZ soon told the story of why I could not find it. I located the pieces and gathered them. Given the level of maintennance of other caches in the area, I decided to just replace this one.
My GPSr clearly stated where the cache should be. I got a new container put in a new log sheet (only had the a micro log sheet with me). The stash card was the only thing worth rescuing and I put that in the other one. I re-hid it in an appropriate area.
If the cache owner wants their log book back (such as it is), they can contact me. TFTC higgins-clan

Found cache smashed on the ground, something drove over it. That's the pieces we could find.
Surprisingly there were quite a few muggles passing by - needed to do some decoy work - TFTC - this was my second visit - new coordinates helped
Wow, what a great area for a hide. Took us down the beaten track....literally. Some Muggles driving by gave us odd looks as we were retrieving cache. Was a 2 man job to retrieve. But the kids loved it. Did some swaps. Is fun for them when it's a good size cache like this one. TFTC Higgins Clan

Was just about to give up, content that this cache had been washed away in the April floods when we stumbled upon it. Someone has moved it about 30 m. New co-ordinates are S 28 17.617 E 153 28.902.
Visited this one with Radnoski while in the area. He suggested it does not appear to be where he found it. Decided to move along. TFTH.
Out for a drive with the boys

Looked everywhere and was convinced it was gone. Bit of a check of the listing and soon had it located. SL TFTC
This was an easy find, Thanks higgins-clan. As visitors from NZ, this definately took us to a place that we wouldn't have visited otherwise. Took Illinois Traveling Geocoin and will take it back to NZ to add some km's, left Toy Dinosaur.
Should have checked the new resting place properly on the first visit. Quick find on second visit with Pikapene. tftc
When about to log a dnf we realised it had been relocated so a return trip was in order. Quick find this time with FACT4. Thanks higgins-clan
Found this one after driving through some flood waters to get there this needs to be checked and moved properly as we found this floating next to the bridge luckly so was very easy to get but water was level with the bridge also. If the water got any higher this would be missing so removed across the road there is a rock a stump and a tyre that sits about a meter above the road is sitting in the tyre to save this from floating away. location S28 17.617 E 153 28.903
Very wet getting to this one but the yaris got there. Still there for now!! Thanks higgins-clan
Found this one open in clear view at GZ!!! Items and log missing and full of water from recent rain!!! Put some paper in for temp log and a few items for next to find. Re hid where I thought it would go. Great spot I like the quiet out of the way a little places. TFTC.
Since this is at lest the second time it has been found out in the open maybe it should be moved to a different location. Needs log book and note for accidental finds by muggles.
=) could see this one as i drove near GZ ...totally visible from the road! , tried to hide it a little better, TFTC !! TNLN SL =)
One of those wonder locations you may otherwise never go to. Great views of Mt Warning and surrounding area. TFTC.
Took Groundspeak Lackey 2007 Geocoin to move on and left maze. Cheers.

Think this one may float away shortly if the water level rises too much more. Very wet day today ........ really too wet for caching ..... is that possible? Thanks.
[^] Great hide by our Geonephew who met us there to watch our sucessful search...though he didn't give anything away. Geoson #1 drove in. Geoson #2 drove out. Both pre Learner license drivers (by a few years)...great spot for them...we learnt to drive many years ago in these quiet parts. TFTC Great spot. Left Groundspeak Lackey Geocoin waiting to catch a lift on a passing cane harvester. Won't have to wait long, it being cane season here. Lackey will enjoy the watching the cane fires, harvesting and transporting to the mill going on in every direction. [^]
Found this one after doing the Creek Cache. Nice hide! Took the Geocoin. I always enjoy the higgins-clan caches! Thanks again!
Nice spot the cache was in the open looks like they replaced some of the bridge planks.
Found with daddyslilmetalhead TFTC, took a little while to find it, even walked past it twice... lol but is visible from the standing position
Our 2nd find on a murbah cache hunt. Had to wait for 2 cars to slowly pass before we could retrieve this one. Lots of car parts in the creek next to the bridge. Took nothing - Left magnifing glass. TFTC

An easy find while working in the area. Had to wait for several dump trucks and avoid the dust. Tftc
Very busy on a Sunday afternoon. Found it without any trouble. Left 100 play money. TFTC
I headed up this road for "Creek Cache" and also saw this one a bit further up the road. TFTC.
I grabbed the "Raddish" travel bug (I found out that it makes noise when you squeeze its tummy).
I left a nice looking "Swedish Hawk" geo-coin.

1st for the day. Nice quick find before the rain hit. We got some strange looks by muggles passing as we were looking through the cache contents.
Probably wondering what we were up to way out here!!

You could be anywhere hidden away in the sugar cane fields but Mt Warning still visible above the cane. Good hide. Thanks for the cache. TNLN SL.
Saw this one come up and left home within minutes. FTF!!!! Yay!! Thanks for the new caches Higgins-clan. If your others weren't so far away and I had an excuse ready for such a long trip I'd love to do those too. Found this one about 3:15pm Qld time this afternoon. TFTC. Nice location. From here I took the opportunity to go home through the Numinbah Valley as someone warned me of the flooding in that area. They were right. Babbling Brook had been a Raging Torrent and although quite high above the normal water level would have been about 6 feet under the raging torrent during the flood. Whoops! This cache should be o.k. though. No signs of flooding here.
