With StephanieK tagging along, there were no issues in the retrieval of this one. Not too many folk about this morning anyway, even though it was a beautiful sunny day. Thanks for the cache.
Found Geocache as I was parking my car. Staying with family in Footscray, this one was nice and close. Log sheet was missing, so I left a page from my notepad. Great little hide. Cheers from Canberra.
A Guy and Girl - An Hours Spare Time - Five Caches
After doing some Christmas shopping at Highpoint West we had an hour to kill, so what better way than to grab a few caches as we worked our way to Docklands. Whist Katy drove Trent navigated zig zagging our way.
Parking the GeoCruze nearby we approached the GZ expecting it to be somewhere else, Trent checked the area of concern and came up trumps.
Thanks for the cache vp4!!!

Easy find . A bloke was sitting in his car so I couldn't start looking for it . I went to Sims and when I came back he was still in his car ? So I came back today and found it .
Loads of muggles and had to walk off with cache for a while after retrieving. Now back safe and sound. My first cache in melbourne this year.
Found! Was a easy one @ night with no one around. Did this one after the watching the Cats beat Port @ the 'G' & was introducing geocaching to another person. What do these boxes do? There are a few around that I have seen...

Another surperb hiding place is out to good use. Who would have expected that? Thanks vp4 though the log is a little in need of some love.
Found it a tricky one although paper in log book is wet a new one would be great
Reasonably quick find. I was a bit worried reading the previous logs. But alas, a park really close, no muggles, so log signed and away. TFTC
I liked the hint, subtle but effective! My friend who opened my eyes to the world of geocaching said he thought the cache might have been in a shoe hanging by the shoe laces from the power lines, so was constantly looking up
Found a parking spot straight away. Found the cache straight away. Noted the clue. Signed the log. Replaced in its hiding spot. Cheers for the cache.
Found on my way home from a visit to the big smoke. Lots of muggles around, so had to wait for the coast to be clear.
Thanks for the cache vp4

Glad found it late night after work without any muggles around here and easy parking.
Thanks vp4 for the cache

On the way to Orienteering after work and picking up a few caches on the way, what better to occupy the afternoon.
But I don't have shoe laces, ah, I'll just fake it. Nice quick grab, signed log across the road and then repeat in reverse.

Quick find in a likely spot. Not too much traffic today so it was easy to get in and out. Thanks vp4, I've kept this brief but I've put more detail in the final log.
Found this one as it was getting dark and the hardest part was finding a park - I did a couple of blocks and finally found a park for geocar. Then off to find the cache - now the next problem was muggles being dropped off, meeting friends, going to the eateries etc but managed to retrieve the cache and I took it a way away to sign the log. The log itself was very hard to get out of the tin and I thought I was going to have to return to geocar to get a log extraction tool but was okay in the end. Took nothing, left nothing and signed log. Returned cache to hiding place and hope I wasn't seen by a passing muggle who I didn't know was behind me! Hopefully the next person doesn't have as much difficulty with this cache as I did.
Thanks for the cache and the series vp4.
Thanks for the cache and the series vp4.
Fortunately parked nearby, and walked over crossing with xambo4u to make a quick find, sign the log, and gather the information before replacing the cache - hopefully unnoticed by shopping muggles. Thanks vp4
4.10 pm Out and about with Echinda44 with a run around the west. On our homeward bound track now and looking at this as a simple drive by. Traffice building up and thinking that parking maybe a problem. We are in luck, a parking spot nearby, wait for the lights to change and walk up pick up from a very popular hiding spot. Remembered to get the clue and back to the car.
Thanks for the cache vp4 love the history of the old trams

Came here after finding FTT 2 - Ballarat Road (GC23PP5). I managed to get a park directly opposite GZ. No muggles about at this late hour, just a few passing cars. The co-ords were spot on so I found the sneaky hide after a very brief search (about 360 degrees around GZ) and then signed the log at 12:30am. TNLN.
Thanks vp4 for another interesting tram cache, my second of the series. Great info on the history of the Footscray Tramways and the MMTB.

Pulled up on the opposite side of the road to the cache and was blinded by the sea of white in the nearby church. Some sort of celebration was under way.
Quickly located the cache and moved on before any one took any notice of me.

Found @ 12:10am, find # 1572.
On a caching night out with waffle eggs.
Once we had started this series we then tried to finish it, not knowing at this time that #4 was disabled.
After passing this one earlier on and not looking for due to muggles hanging around, it was now time to come back to it, we arrived and there was no one about this time so it was straight in for the find which was alot easier than FTT 5 which is the same hide.
Noted the tram # for later on, last one for the night as we were unable to continue with the other two.

I can't imagine a tram running along here! The street is pretty narrow as it is.
There were muggles at the cafe across the road, but I made a quick swoop and grabbed it undetected. Thanks vp4, it's nice to be back in the game again.

DNF @ 17:30 with shogun. There is evidence of a recent tree removal at GZ. The CO might want to check the cache.
No luck for me either Hope it is still there or soon returned. Gorgeous Melbourne winter's day - perfect for caching. No.1 DNF with 14 finds for the afternoon T4TC
on the busy street kinkell1 made the find of this cache although tentatively because of Spider webs, Argh!

Second in this series for the day, a nice simple park-and-sign (remembering to take note of the tram number).

Found it with Jezka.. Even though it was at around 11pm there were still lots of muggles.. After dodging a few muggles and even a cop car whilst Jezka looked like she was squatting (we had a good laugh) we soon had the cache in hand.. T4TC!
Find # 3531 and 6th of the day @ 4:01 pm. I had the afternoon to myself so what better than get a few caches. I just realised I need to get clues !! oh well need to revisted 2 FTT caches, easy find, TNLN, Left my mark in the log, Thanx Vp4....
Well, this cache definitely wasn't where I found it today the last time I looked (ages ago). Very easy find this time, though. TFTC vp4 - time to grab the final mystery cache.
Pantherx was on fire for this cache. Nice grab when it was quiet in the cafe. Tnln tftc sl
Found on an afternoon caching with Burge in Melbourne's West. We took it in turns so as to not arouse suspicion from the nearby cafe but Burge struggled to make the find on the first pass and it was up to me to bring home the goods! A nice little hiding spot. TFTC.
Found and retreived easily despite high muggle activity in the area. Good location, nice place especially on Friday night
Yay! Quick find on a rainy night. A lot of muggles about, however I stuck to the shadows and quickly grabbed cache out from hiding spot. Thank you vp4 for putting the cache in a safe yet awkward location! The muggles leaving the restaurant kept looking back at me.
Lots of muggles around thanks to a nearby Restuarant.. Quick find even though the evening was wet & cold!!
Another quickie in the FTT series - took me longer to get the log out of the tin than to find it!
As usual I had planned a night of caching with my good buddy jsmyong55. We had quite a number on the list, and I never thought we would get through them all. We did and then some! The final tally for the night has not yet been realised as there are both Geocaching Australia.com and Geocaching.com caches in the mix, but we both know we both grabbed over 50 caches each. To get jsmoyong55 over the line we detoured from a direct route to his home to get a few more. It was the first time for both of us to get over 50 so we were both pretty pleased with our efforts. This cache was one of those we grabbed. While this one was a quick find it was most disappointing. We had planned to finish our night with the final unknown cache but the log was not complete and missing a vital clue for the last cache.
Out on a legendary cache run with caching buddy Trailrunning. For the first time, we actually completed the whole list and added a few more on the way home to meet the 50-find cache mark. Started early at 5.45pm all the way till 2am before we went home tired, but happy. 2 DNF's along the way but an awesome run all the same.
This was an easy find compared to the 2 previous cache retrieving troubles. However it was a major disappointment as we were so keen to finish off the series but was not able to because of the top half being ripped off. TFTC

Suscoe's thrid find in 20 minutes. Things are going good at the moment.
The muggle breaky seller was busy setting up tables.
What a beautifully sunny morning.
The cache was soon in Suscoe's hands.
Signed the log and on our way.

TNLNSL but forgot to write down the # so I figure we'll have to go back another day! Thanks vp4 looking forward to completing the series.
Lots of school muggles, and log is in two rather worn out pieces. T4TC

Was about to report this as missing as after a long seArch I still did not have it. Then after a bit of arm twisting it gave it's self up. Tftc
OLDWINEBOTTLE eventually located this one. I'm kind of getting over these hides- theres only so much tying of shoe laces one can do!
Had to check twice as I missed it when I first looked.
No problem though, signed it and returned to it's hide

Easy location, obvious enough spot for the hide but if it's there, it's hiding far too well for me to find. Read through the previous logs but unfortunately contortionism wasn't an option today due to a busy cafe across the road and surprisingly busy intersection, small as it is. I also see this one hasn't been found for a while, since February 12th, in fact. Wondering if people are deciding not to log did not find entries? Dunno. I've only ever managed to find 1 other geocache hidden this way and as a result I'm not a big fan of them - I'll leave it for the rest of the geocaching community and chalk it up as a lame fail for me. Thanks anyway, vp4.
my 4 year old son didn't like this one so much because there was no toys to play with
After our 5th attempt and a trip around the Great Ocean Road finding more caches and gaining more caching experience we finally found this one! Walked by it a million times and finally paid attention to the hint! TFTC, TNLN, CITO
Found by Mary & David at 1625. Passed through a big thunderstorm as we drove here from our last stop. Luckily the rain had stopped again at the right time. Had a lot of trouble extracting the container as it was almost out of reach. Just managed it with a few contortions and some lost skin. Our thanks as usual to vp4.
A very late log I'm afraid, having just completed a thorough reconciliation of finds whilst out on adventures with Cached and/or Robtas - slacky Wacky missed just a few (cough cough)
Many thanks vp4 from the Wacky one

Felt this one with my fingertips but couldn't retrieve it because I don't have double-jointed fore-arms -( and my retrieving tool wouldn't go around the bend.
VP4 has graciously allowed me to log this one as a find.

Making the most of a perfect caching day in Melbourne, I sncuk in for a quick grab a little after 5pm. No trouble with the find and I was in and out in a couple of minutes... [^]
