After admiring the falls I noticed a good spot for a hide and found the cache by surprise.
Did an evening walk of the south Hazelbrook loop. It is an absolutely stunning part of the world. Stood under waterfalls and jumped in the water many times to cool down from the heat of the day. Thanks for placing a geocache here. TFTC
Enjoyed a long loop walk around Terrace Falls, picking up a few caches on the way. A stunning spot. GPS had me on the wrong side, but hint was good and soon had cache in hand. TFTC Team Canary.
Great instructions - once at gz! Lovely spot! Always love waterfalls. Found with Storeyteller. Tftc
To help stop the spread of Covid-19, the NSW Government has ordered everybody to Stay At Home, unless you are: shopping for essentials, receiving medical care, exercising or travelling to work or education.
While some people would regard going geocaching as a form of exercise, exercising has been limited to your Local Government Area or within 10 kilometres of your home. Additionally people are not permitted to leave certain councils except for authorised workers.
Who knows how long this current lock down will last? What I do know, as a health professional, is that every one of us has an important part to play in helping to keep our families, friends and the wider community safe in the fight against the spread of Covid-19, by staying home.
Due to the health authority’s directive, my observations of people breaking the law and finding geocaches outside these rules and the risk that if an infectious person finds one of the caches and another person comes along they could possibly become infected, I have decided to disable this cache and request that no one search for or claim a find whilst this cache is disabled.
Thank you for your co-operation. I look forward to enabling my caches as soon as the Stay At Home orders are relaxed.
Stay safe, Team Canary.

Beautiful area and a pleasure to walk here on a nice winters day. No problem finding the cache. Very lush and green today.
Found it easily thanks to the hint while doing a circuit of the Hazelbrook waterfalls. Awesome location.
A group of us carpooled and house hopped to the mountains for a day caching and bushwalking. Thanks for taking me I had a fun day. Thanks for the cache hide.
TFTH *Geomonster10* a group of us carpooled (*10011010*, *HappyUke*, *SueDan83*, *Little Kitten*) in one car for a trip up the mountains, while *DustyJasperJet* and I were in my car, all out for some fun caching.
Our trusty guide DanSue38 had been talking about two beautiful loop walks up in the Blue Mountains. The more he talked about them the more people jumped on board for the walk... he is that convincing! The date was set and the leapfrog carpooling was organised. Again we got a day with perfect weather. Luckily with the rain last week the waterfalls could show off a bit of their splendour. The GPS was a bit bouncy due to the tall rocks and canopy... with a bit of a search, all the caches were finally found. Little Kitten was in her element climbing, jumping, swinging and sliding to each cache... definitely now Little Panther! It was a great day, beautiful scenery and fantastic company... can’t wait to hear more of DanSue38’s stories. Thanks for placing this cache... it gave us a reason to come here!
Found this one today, and a few others, on a loop walk in this delightful part of the mountains. Achieved in the company of geobrother (Forereach) and Mrs Forereach. It was a beautiful day for the walk and enabled us the complete the caches in this area with the exception of Bikerbuddy's "Victor Falls Track" cache which appears to have gone walkabout.
Set out for a days walk in South Hazelbrook to complete the caches in this beautiful part of the world with the other half of Forereach to celebrate our 32nd wedding anniversary along with Geobrother (Dogwood53). Lovely spot. TFTC
It was such a beautiful Sunday morning I couldn’t resist a trip to the mountains for the day. Having hiked Kedumba Valley last weekend I had noticed a nice little group of caches around Hazelbrook and made that my destination.
The clue was sufficient to find this one very easily.
This is a beautiful valley and I am so glad caching brought me here.

Having survived an overnight stay at the Old Ford Reserve at -5 deg and the nearby 5/5, we managed a couple more finds before a nice lunch at Springwood. Helping Team Canary to clean out his backyard of new caches, this was the third stop on the loop. The journey from Willawong Pool to here didn't exactly go as planned as we followed a very overgrown track and ended up much higher than expected and on the wrong side of the creek. So a slight change of plans to grab this one before heading to the new Little Terrace Falls. Well these falls were superb even though there was not a huge amount of water hurtling over the terraces. After the sight seeing, it was good to be in the company of the CO who ever so gently guided us in the right direction.

After a weekend caching around the Blueys, our numbers had dropped from 9 to three. After a busy morning and well-deserved lunch, we headed down the trail with CO to guide us.
After grabbing a new cache, we took an overgrown path and decided to get this before the other new one. What an amazing set of terraces these falls are. Fantastic!
The hint was perfect and we found it easily. The log book wasn't as bad as expected, so all good there. How lucky you are Team Canary to have this place so close to home. TFTC

Made this find on a trip to get our first FTF. We were going to leave the others in this area for another day but we spotted it and decided to tick it off. Log was damp but signable. TFTC
Second cache on loop from Egyptian Tomb. Great area for a cache. Took some photos. Good hint meant a quick find. Tftc
after a peaceful interlude at Bedford pool I decided to leave Hazelbrook Retreat for another time just so I could come back to this lovely area with a purpose. maybe when its warmer. Walking round to this cache was very pleasant indeed, I saw lots of waterfalls and thoroughly enjoyed myself.
When I got to vaguely the right area I started looking but as I was around 30 m too early I only found empty possibilities, once further up the path the hint made much more sense and I soon had the cache in hand. I took the TB to continue its journey as I'm heading overseas next week. After taking some photos it was onto the next waterfall. great spot.

To escape the Sydney heat, my new hiking/geocache friend and I decided to head up to the Blue Mountains assuming temperatures would be lower.
A beautiful trail along impressive rock formations and a creek winding its way down along moss covered rocks and after having cooled off in Bedford Pool, we arrived at Terrace Falls. What an amazing place, and the perfect spot for having a picnic and have a shower under the waterfall.
No other people around, just a few lizards, birds and the sound of wind blowing through the tree tops somewhere high up. A truly magical place!
After an hour we decided to move on, going up hill to continue our loop. Halfway up the hill I noted I forgot all about the cache placed close to the waterfall. So we walked down again and with the clear hint it was not long before we found the hidden box.
This amazing place deserves 10 Favourite points, but I can only give one!

What a great spot! With last night's rain, the falls were flowing nicely and the place looked very pretty. We took several photos and noticed remnants of what looked like an old bridge crossing the slippery rocks. Mr H decided to cross anyway but got wet feet in doing so, and yes, it was slippery! Thankfully he stayed upright! TFTC!

Beautiful area. Will be back.. We came late and it was getting dark and didn't want to be there when it's dark.
A first visit to this great location, walked along the firetrail in and then took the Victor falls track on the return which was a wonderful walk along the creek. The cache was a straight forward find after reading the hint, initially the gps had us in the wrong location. TFTC Team Canary
Loooooved this location so much!! Draveken and I ended up spending a lot of time here, exploring and looking around before we even decided to begin looking for the cache. Took a lot of photos and even tried a bit of the water (We had run out and were desperate!) When it came time for the cache hunt, we ended up going up and down the steps one too many times and exhausted ourselves before checking the clue. Oh....there it is.
TFTC and for bringing us to this amazing waterfall! +1 fav point!!

I had reached the area from below after doing a cache circuit around the area. Lots of fallen trees and branches covered the area. GPS signal wasn't much better as we couldn't figure out which waterfall was mention in the cache details.
Expanding our search, Phlphotos found it first.
Thanks for the cache.

#289 following the route around from Hazelbrook and came to this cache trying to work out where we needed to be and this time I chose the right area to look as I spotted as I came up to it. #8 of 14 around Hazlebrook. Gee I need a rest now. Thanks for bringing us into the area
Very nice location. Cache was quickly found, leaving more time to explore the waterfall. Merry Christmas and many TFTC!
We utilised the path less traveled, with picking up the Victor Falls cache on the way down the creek. Great spot. SL TFTH
I have been working at Selwood House, and with a gap between appointments, I had the opportunity to get outside and enjoy a perfect spring day in the mountains. Not wanting to go too far, I had headed down this way to do another cache, then the lure of a couple more took me further than planned. Boy, am I glad I did, with spectacular scenery, a glorious walk and a great cache, worthy of a favourite point. Thanks Team Canary, and especially Storm Bear, for an amazing cache.

There are a number of local waterfalls that I've had on my "must do one day" list ever since moving to the mountains over 7 years ago. I crossed off 2 of them this weekend (visited Frederica Fall in Lawson yesterday and now Terrace Falls today). I arrived at the falls right on dusk, so it was a good thing I had my torch with me - helped with finding the cache and also with getting back out safely! Had hoped to also get to Victor Falls, but light was fading too quickly, so I'll come back another day for those falls (and for the cache that's there).
The fire trail is in GREAT condition, having had lots of maintenance work done last week. Beautiful location - I must do some more exploring on that network of trails soon. TFTC!

I came up to Lawson for 2 nights for a church camp. Had 2 hours spare, and had prepared a running loop that was designed to get a number of the harder caches around.
This was the last one. Unfortunately, I ran out of time to get the others in the area, so I will have to return.
So, you've got my cache at the end of my road (A Prime Location), and I've got yours at the end of your road

Catching up on all my DNF's - sorry for the late log - cache was too good for me
Down in the gloom, with the waterfall splashing nearby, whitemushroom walked past the 'obvious' hide twice, and on the third Bisygisy had clue in hand. TFTC
Another walk along the main trail saw whitemushroom and I eventually reach the end of the road. TFTC.
Beautiful location and a nice easy find. I'd never been here before and I must say that this is one of the most beautiful waterfalls in the Blue Mountains. Saw a nice pic of the waterfall too under the railway line on the way home. Impressive!
the 3rd cache to find on our way through this area! can happily report a FIND! By this time my phone had near carked itself, and whilst sitting near the falls remembered some of the clue, so ventured up the track a bit, then back down ! SUCCESS! thankyou to Team Canary for leading us down to this magical place where elves pixies and perhaps the odd leprechaun might play! Magical!! Well worth a Fav from me!!!

A final cache before we had to head home, so having the CO with us helped to speed things up a little. Although even he seemed to get a little disoriantated with the arrows on the signs...
We eventually made our way to the great little falls and then with light fading, I read the hint. Ahh, ok...PPE walked straight past the cache, while I noticed it and made the find. We SL, TNLN and replaced. A nice little cache in a very special place, thanx TC for placing this one. TFTC.

Another TC cache and the last the day. Fair to say we were guided to GZ by the younger team members, before oneof our group spied the cache. This time it was my turn to use my height and make the retrieve.
A really grand day out with lots of great memories.
Thanks TC, Alfyboy, Baktrak, PJM and sjamp for the wonderful compnay. Sorry I had to rush off.

The last cache on a day of milestones. We had the COs along, hosting us on a quick tour of their local area, so it was fitting that we finished "at the end of their road".
GPSr was useless down there so we were reminded of the hint and then made a quick find.
Thanks to Team Canary and the entire team who braved the elements to create a memorable day with each other.

I had an unexpected day off work and bikerbuddy & I had some nefarious plans which took us to this area. I have been meaning to do this cache for some time, and today was the perfect opportunity.
We came in by the main fire trail, but walked back out via the gorgeous alternative track that goes by Victor Falls. Looked at the hint & went staight to GZ, for an easy find. Then we continued down to view the falls & relax for a bit.
We were the only people down this way today, an advantage of coming mid week.
Thanks for a great cache Storm Bear

Found it at 1.20 pm with some help from the hint. Amazing place, a true geocache location. Took a while to get here since the road to car park was closed, but this one was very rewarding. One of our favorites! TFTC!
I skipped the gym this morning so decide I should do a hike after work to compensate. I parked my car at the end of the council road and headed off down the fire trail. I was feeling a bit frisky so diverted on a bush bash to "look to windward", from there I discovered a well formed track that was not on the topo but took me back to the fire trail right near the top of Terrace Falls. The cache was easily found thanks to the hint, the pencils were both blunt though so I sharpened them with my pocket knife before signing the log. The falls were lovely and running fast due to recent rain. Thanks for a fun evening walk, Team Canary!
A great cache to look for on a hot day as it was today. Due to all the recent rain the falls were the best I've seen in a while - a lovely spot! TFTC
Have not been here for many years, nice to visit again.
Creek was running well with the recent rains. The clue was spot on.

Something I have been meaning to do for ages - get out for a walk in the mountains and, more importantly, pick up Team Canary caches and that was what today was all about!!
What a fantastic place - I wish it was at the end of MY road!! I spent ages here taking photos before locating the cache. Thanks for the hint, it made all the difference even if i did have some trouble extracting the container - maybe i'm not QUITE tall enough?!! TnLn, SL - TfTc Team Canary and bringing me to this amazing place !!

This was our second attempt at this cache. The first time we tried it we didn't read the discription or other logs properly and found ourselves on the wrong side of the falls with no way down. However, today was more successful!! Found cache without too much trouble at all, even with a dodgy GPS, thanks to the very helpful hint! SL, TNLN, Thanks for a wonderful cache in a really pretty location
Took TimeTraveller for her induction into all things GEOCACHing. However there's problems when reception cuts out and you haven't put all clues to memory and yr not too sure you're at the right waterfall. BUT the best thing about GC is that all is never lost. A fantastic hidden grotto and quite a few delightful swimming holes that are worth the extra time to discover. Be careful driving: low hung cars will feel the bounce on the trail in. What a great cache to do with today's high temps...after the find, I did have a dip back up the road, not quite as far back as the nearby cache - a drive in swimming hole!! Great location and beautiful cascades
Great waterfalls and next time I will be bringing my swimmers to this area.

This was the first of my two Blue Mountains waterfalls this afternoon, and a fun adventure.
I was able to make it down the fire trail at the end of Terrace Falls Road (Lawson) in my 4WD GeoBuru, and I imagine that -- with some care and courage -- you could make it in an ordinary 2WD vehicle. Parking is possible within 100 metres of GZ as the kookaburra files, but it's a longer walk down, down, down the steps into the deep rainforesty gully, to the picturesque Terrace Falls and 'river.'
Take careful note of the CO's clue. It's a good one. I was able to walk straight to the hiding spot and put my hand on the cache without a search. Otherwise, in a dodgy GPS signal spot with lots of rocky hiding holes, it could be a bit of task to find this one.
Cache container and contents were just fine. TNLNSL.
Waterfall was beautiful. Two other groups of people showed up while I was there, walking in from another trail. A helpful mother and daughter took my photo!

This was my 2nd cache for today. A nice walk down the road from the station past get my 1st one and now down to Terrace Falls. Have been here many times on bushwalks and great to have a cache here. GPSr readings are scratchy so the clues are handy to find the cache but finally located it after a short search. Just signed the log at 13:30 and now for the walk back up the hill to the next cache in town. TNLN
Really enjoyable walk down with the rain just clearing up. Amazing waterfalls, i think we picked the perfect day to do this one. TFTC
A bit wet due to rain but it made for some fantastic waterfalls and really brought the colours out. We ended up reading the hint at just the right moment to find it. But I suppose I have earned myself a "Man Card" for surviving the fire trail without a 4WD.

The name of this cache simply does not do the area justice! This is a beautiful spot, I'd say definately the best we did today and we went to some nice locations! I reckon it would be a top 10 cache location for my money.
One definately needs the hint though, after we did the 97 metre walk west and the 150 metre decending into the abyss - ok ok I might be exagerrating just slightly but it was one heck of a walk down!
But in the end definately worth the effort, Deputy D0g balked at the walk down but like me seemed very pleased he made the effort.. Thanks so much for showing us this place,
Cache returned and well hidden just as we found it, took nothing out though...
Must return to this one wonderful spot....put more out like this Team Canary

Drove to the top of the track to GZ, if a Honda Jazz can get there, most cars can!
A fantastic little spot, and just a moderate walk down and up some rocky stairways.
The falls were running well, and were very peaceful.
Thanks Canaries..

This is one of those rare caches that take about an hour to do. This rivals with Numantia Falls but beats the walk up to it. Wonderful cache and I hope others will like it. TFTC
The last cache for today, and what a find! We left our car further up the track because there was a sign warning about lack of clearance. We picked up Rogerw3's cache on the way to this one. The 4WD road was pleasant to walk but gave no hint of what a beautiful environment we were about to enter. I strongly suggest that you don't drive as close to this cache as you can. There's a walking track that branches off from the road at roughly S 33 44.319, E 150 26.857. (That's just taken roughly from GoogleEarth) Don't follow the other road up, either. The track is just a small walking track that follows the creek and quickly crosses it via a railway sleeper that then takes you down past a waterfall. From here on in the scenery is magnificent and the walk is quite pleasant and not too taxing at all.
When we got to the cache the boys and I were making comparisons to the Numantia Falls cache. We took a lot of photos. Thankyou for bringing us to this great location. This was the highlight of our day. Took the Travel Bug.

I really enjoyed this one. Your clue was spot on so we found it very easily- Lucky as the GPS was not too happy with the area. My boys say it at least equalled Numantia Falls that they'd done with their dad a few weeks ago. Who would have thought that the road would lead to such a beautiful rainforest and waterful.Try it, its well worth the look. TFTC
This was a great place to visit! Didn't want to drive all the way in because I wasn't sure about my car's clearance, probably could have made it though, but a little extra walking didnt hurt anyone. This place was great, we found the cache soon after we arrived. And as soon a couple of muggles left we had the place to ourselves and stripped off and started climbing the waterfall!! Very beautiful. Will have to come back here soon.

Parked at the end of the road 90m to GZ Walked about 30m in the direction it was pointing & it was now 120m in the same direction. Walked another 10m & now it was 100m in the opposite direction. Back to the car & took the other track. GPSr was still swinging in all directions, but at least it was going down, as was I . Got to the bootom & followed the hint straight to the cache. Ran into my muggles from ROCK so I told them bout Geocaching. They promised to look it up.
Took TBCoin. Left nothing (I had another coin, but have had trouble with coins before, so will log it before I move it on.

Earlyish on a Sunday morning we mounted our trusty bikes and went for a ride over this nearby fire trail. It had been a little while since we'd been to the falls here but as usual they're always a pleasure to visit and not hard to get to at all. There was still a reasonable flow but they would certainly have been pumping a few weeks ago during the heavy rains we had then. Leaving the bikes stashed at the top it's a short stroll down the good track to the creek bottom, with the rocks being a tad slippy from the brief shower overnight. No need to use the GPS really as the excellent clue will lead you to the cache without any ado. Took the container over the creek at the bottom of the falls where there were some dry rocks under an overhang to perform the cache rites. (There is also a GCA cache here so two for the price of one if you're inclined). Replaced the cache and carried on to it's neighbour. We picked up the Festive Ditty TB but left the Cammo Can coin (we're not heading that way) and also left the Half a Crown TB. Good cache!

Have been down here many times, the final location for Picnic at Waterlilly Waterhole finished a ways past here. So, we drove out to the end here once more and wandered down into the coolness of the gully to the sound of running water, not as much as I would have expected though. Some people where down here so we had to wait a little while before looking for it, easy find after they left. Was a tad obvious, it aint quite so obvious now. Left a coin.
There are some great walk here and these are some of the oldest walking tracks on the mountains, there are others close by that are now well over grown, though, can still be followed in some places and makes for an interesting trek.
Cheers

After completing the nearby cache I continued my night walk onto this one. The road is in good condition and if it wasnt for the erosion humps up the very top I'd have driven the wife's car down here.
When I headed onto the walking track I was overcome by the noise of running water. Recent rains had this place flowing very well.
Finding the cache was very easy and I have included some coords I got at GZ. After the formalities I went back to the falls where I was in awe of the glow worm show. Absolutely fantastic
I would recommend this cache as a night time adventure.

We are going to come find it soon - just need it not to be raining on a weekend!
I can't believe it a FTF, my first.
This is an area I had not been before, what a great location for a cache, lots of water in the creek and the waterfall is quite spectacular.
Very humid today specially down into the gully but well worth it Thank you "Storm Bear' for taking me there.
Took the Geocoin and left TB Yowie Ditty, also left 2x Olympic pins.
