Logs
Although previous logs would suggest it’s gone, we thought we would have a look anyway – had a suitable replacement if needed.
Having searched for a while, we thought we had found an area that would fittd the hint, GPSr had settled and would have suggested it as well. Unfortunately there were a couple of other spots close that could also have fitted the hint, so with not being 100% certain, we didn’t put in the replacement.
If we were in the right place, part of the hint is almost dead, which could possibly leave the cache more exposed now than when originally place.

Kids were on a mission as it was close to where we were staying but unfortunately no find!!
Looked all over for this. Took several compass sightings with the GPS which put us right at the spot of the coords. But no luck so we need to log it as a DNF.
Don't you just hate this. It was blowing a gale and there was three of us looking real hard but alas a DNF has to be recorded. The Italian Job was here.....!
It is indeed a pleasant place... we had an enjoyable stroll to GZ; a bit cool with the breeze - but no rain . TFTC.

A huge thanks to Glyn for adopting our Coromandel Caches. We have had lots of fun with these caches but are no longer able to maintain them so Glyn has kindly agreed to look after them. Looks like I owe him a coffee or something stronger when we meet.

Logging a few days late because we have only just returned home from a Pauanui holiday and back to internet access.
Spent 23 Jan walking the circuit round Pauanui. At a slow child's pace, so it took most of the day! Master 5 found this one, after a point in the right direction. Having seen the owner's note (posted before this, but with a later log date), I apologise if the cache wasn't well covered enough after we left it - Alex (5) found it and so he was responsible for re-hiding it. He was supervised and I thought he'd done a pretty good job of concealing it.
Took a small plastic teddy and eft a plastic hippo.
Nice spot, this. TFTC. Number 144 for us.

Just a part of our bike ride around to collect a few today and have an adventure with friends.
A most enjoyable spot indeed. Some nice local muggles wanted to stop and chat forever. Finally nailed the cache when they left. TFTC
18:05 Quick find on a day trip to Pauanui. Lorelle found this cache and we dropped TB I found this morning. TFTC.

Took a different interpretation of the description that were initially thought to find, but we got there in the end. TFTC!
At the beach for the weekend with our Grandparents. We left the older members of TH5 at home. Easy find for us 3 children and a good clue as well. TFTC
A quiet overcast day still with stunning views and great for a long geocaching walk.
Lots of long grass and not many pine needles. Found the perfect size hole, in the right place, but it was empty.
Had a spare afternoon and went over to Pauanui
and found some cache's took 'Sub' TB dropped of

Definitely a Pleasant Place. Used to come and visit a friend down this street when my kids were very young. Now theyve all flown the coop. T4T$ SL (found by me along with Rosie & Sela)
I was surprised by the quantity and quality of the caches in this community. Thanks!
easy find-did on mt bikes but those big tree roots not good on the bum -cheers jumboz
Parked our campervan at the airport (hmm). Hubby stayed behind with a book, but I wanted to do an extra walk and took one of the doggies for an extra cachewalk.
It was a bit of search, but hint is clear and explicit. Wonderful location. Thanks for this cache

can next finder please update me on condition of cache. nzwebs logged it needs maint but I do need to know the status. Cheers.
Cant figure why nzwebs has said this needs maint just because TBs are not there. Perhaps they have been taken overseas and the people are not able to log yet. Just hope it hasnt been muggled. Will check next time we are local.
Blackbeard and Jeep Trackables are not in there.

#1015 A very pleasant place. Find took a while, by our reckoning co-ords out about 13m. However undeterred we did uncover the find, finally. SL. TFTC.
Dried out the cache again after all the recent rain. No swaps left yet again. PLEASE if you take something then leave something of equal or better value. This makes it interesting for the next cacher rather than an empty box.
Left 2 TB here for someone to move on.

#728: A very pleasant place indeed. Our GPSr was telling us that the coordinates were about 20 metres off once we found it. Thanks for the hint--that helped heaps.

A very pleasant place indeed! But this one made us work a bit. We zeroed out at a pine tree - well there are plenty of pine trees to choose from of course. After searching the obvious places, we checked the hint and looked for the pine tree as described. We checked the first one again, then another much closer to the ....., but still no cache. After five minutes I looked up and spotted another location that might fit the clue, and tried there although it was some distance from where the gps pointed. And there was the cache, well hidden but obvious to a cacher. Quite a relief as we thought we might be facing a DNF. Thanks jaybees for the pleasant location!
Checked cache today and have replaced log as container was wet and log destroyed. Have replaced with a bigger box so rehide well and seal log bag. Dropped 3 TB in here also. Hey and if you take something please leave something. Its a fair swap.............meant to be so.
Very plesant place indeed. Lovely place for just about every form of water and land based sports.
Took (pillaged) several tb's
Left nothing (sorry) as cache and contents were saturated

Found with the help from the clue. It would have taken me a while to get to that one otherwise.
We were on a day trip and walk to Broken hills afterwards we saw there was some caches to do in the area so we knocked 10 off in the afternoon all nice quick finds
Found with Little Blue Hen while visiting Coromandel. Busy place but no problems with locating without being spotted. TFTCSL
Despite coords being off for us the clue helped us find this cache quite quickly. A lovely spot Took TB. TFTC
Great spot! Come here many a times boating and never knew it was just there TFTC
Out for my morning walk along the beach . Lots of people out but on one around here so quick find.
Checked the cache today and it was in the open spaces, I have re hidden it in the same spot but please take the time to cover the cache before you leave.
