This might be the only cache I will get today. As on a tour and none are close to where we stop. Will log answers when I have internet
One of the highlights of the island was coming here and then running from the vistor centre out to here and back for the marathon, a very cool spot indeedCourtneyrose_ and I headed fora weekend away to Kangaroo Island, we came to check out the sights plus to compete in the Marathon. A great weekend away with a few caches found along the way. Thanks for the cache
Answers submitted and deemed ok. Thanks for showing me the aeolian sculpting of the Remarkables.
Wonderful to finally visit this iconic location. Been wanting to come for years. Quite specky apart from the rather grey cloudy sky and biting wind. Quite a unique place
We were lucky enough to have Remarkable Rocks all to ourselves! Got some good pics and then a bus load of people rolled up right as we were leaving! Also avoided some showers while there. TFTC!
Did this one as a solo adventure on the motorbike today as Manda is working in Kingscote. Beautiful part of the world for a ride.Answers sent to CO.TFTC
Fascinating earthcache. Enjoyed exploring the rocks and Flinders Chase National Park. Beautiful location. Beautiful day. Visiting from Sandpoint, Idaho, US. Brought two TBs by for a visit. Thanks for a great catching experience!
(# 10217) Visiting Kangaroo Island on a two-day tour, and one of the first stops was at Remarkable Rocks. Truly awesome! Answers to the questions have been e-mailed to the CO, so here comes my log.// e-scape (of Sweden)
During our two-month trip through New Zealand and Australia, we arrived yesterday on Kangaroo Island. Today we have all day to explore the island.Naturally. we also visit the Remarkable Rocks. This earth cache is also located there. We looked for the answers to the questions and got log permission.**CADS11**, thanks for the cache.
We are currently on a eight week holiday which is mostly spent in New Zealand and Australia. However, the first three days were spent in Singapore as a nice break from an otherwise long flight. We had about three weeks in New Zealand which went by too quickly. The remaining five weeks are spent in Australia. Yesterday we took the ferry to Kangaroo Island and for today we want to visit amongst others the Remarkable Rocks and the Admirals Arch. The remarkable rocks were amazing. So nice to see natures artwork. Also excellent to learn more of it. Thank you very much for this educational earthcache.
We have arrived on Kangaroo Island for a 5 day break. We first had this trip planned several years back but that year KI had an extreme fire situation happen and we were offered a refund on our trip which we took. We have waited this long so that the island could regrow and show herself at her best. We have been using geocaching to guide us around and two days into our break we can certainly attest to her beauty. The caching has been interesting and we have many earth caches to write up and send to COs. All the caches we have found so far are in good condition. We did replace one log sheet. Up until today we have commented between ourselves about the fantastic condition of the roads we are driving on, today we managed to find roads that nearly shook our theeth from our heads. SL TFTC
Our bus tour stopped here for a nice visit. Took lots of pictures and roamed around on the rocks. Answers sent. TFTC
SM325 and I are on a bucket list trip to New Zealand and Australia. This is our first time here and we are having a blast. We traveled here from Ohio, USA. The scenery has been magnificent! We really loved this stop. We had a great guide, and we learned a lot. This one gets a favorite point from me. TFTF!
Mrs. Amazing and I spent two days on Kangaroo Island as part of a semi-private tour. We grabbed some geocaches while there. This one definitely deserves a favorite point. Thanks so much for putting this one out as well as feeding my insatiable addiction!
Today, Geoturtle37 and I made a lightning fast trip around KI as there are no ferry trips for days due to the long weekend. There isn't much you can say about these other than the obvious being that they truly are remarkable. We will certainly be back asap. Thanks for bringing us here with its placement.
What a fantastic natural feature. It was great to walk around and learn a little more of the area. The lichens were a surprise. Nothing can really be said that hasn't been said before. Thanks so much for this cache.
What a spectacular place as is this whole island. Thanks to CADS11 for having this pot of gold at the end of this rainbow.
Day #4 Leaping Forward AdventuresI had made it to Cape Jervis overnight and met up with Posums for our Kangaroo Island adventure. An early morning ferry across today and the adventures begin. Finally making it to this location, it was great to explore. Lots of different formations to view. A great spot for an earthcache with answers submitted and approved. Thanks CADS11 for adding this cache to the worldwide collection for us all to enjoy. ----------------------------------------------------------The Ballarat GeoTour ends on 4 March 2024! Well after a whirl wind tour of Tasmania to help with 3 challenges that Im working on, I got back in late Tuesday night then packed the Geowagon and headed off to SA early Wednesday morning to attend the Leap Year Mega and to also tick off some LGAs along the way as well.Well after crossing the border the other day and staying in Millicent then, Wellington and Cape Jervis last night its now time for more LGAs and head over to Kangaroo Island for a couple of days.Kangaroo Island has been on my bucket list for years and so after picking up Roaming Howie this morning from his accommodation he has to squeeze into the Geowagon for a couple of days and put up with my driving. So we have arrived on to the Island and our Geocaching exhibition has begun and lets see how much we can explore in a day and a half.We went to the furthest part of the island first Flinders Chase NP so we could slowly make our way back.A very nice part of the island down here. You could see on the way in the devastation from the fires from 2919-2020.Parked the Geowagon put on our walking shoes and off we went.A great walk along the boardwalk and the view from the start is magnificent. The rocks dont look that big until you get right up to them.A very interesting comparison photos at the sign. Thanks Team Idifips and CADS11 TFTEC.
We are on a trip around Adelaide and Kangaroo Island. Beside visiting beautiful places we also do our hobby geocaching. Remarkable place WOW. Spend a nice time making pictures here. I will send directly. Team Idefips adopted by CADS11, thank you for this cache, regards xizat-NL. Take care, this hobby can develop to an addiction.

Catching up on logging a couple of earth caches from when we were on Kangaroo Island. Logging with permission of the CO. What a great place to visit. I enjoyed my time walking around the Remarkable Rocks. TFT Earth Cache CADS11.
Grub62 and I visited these rocks, they were really great. We and a muggle friend wandered around checked out the rocks from all sides and angles. Thanks for bringing extra enjoyment into this wonderful attraction and TFTC.
Answers sent this so has to be one of my favourite places, even when it is muggle central
Wow!!! These rocks are amazing!Did the obligatory photos. Holding the hook rock up, laying on the bed, hiding in the hole, piggies face. Got here just after a bus load, but they didnt last long so almost had the place to myself. This coastline is bloody gorgeous!Answers sent with anticipation that theyre approvedThanks CADS11 so much for bringing me here and contributing to this great game for others to enjoy. Happy trails, Deanside
Enjoyed a lovely walk out to The Rocks and some great views over the ocean
From distance they looked small, but when we arrived closer, they were pretty cool. Loved watching waves crushing against rocks!Together with MCemzzThanks!
Warn but beautiful day on the island. Stopped here on our tour and walked down among the rocks. Great location, thanks for the earthcache.
Mooi!!! We bezochten deze rotsen en als geocacher zocht ik informatie. Mijn antwoorden stuurde ik naar de CO. Ik plaats ook wat foto's. TFTC.(Google translated: Nice!!! We visited these rocks and as a geocacher I looked for information. I sent my answers to the CO. I'll also post some photos. TFTC.)

#7139We arrived on Kangaroo Island a few days ago, and have a few days of touring and caching to do before heading back into Adelaide. We visited some amazing places and had an awesome day. What an awesome spot! Spent a while wandering around between the boulders and checking out all the caves and crevices! Answers will be sent tonight. Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache CADS11!
Visited on our coach tour of Kangaroo Island. Amazing place - some people were commenting that it is more impressive than Uluru - I haven't been there so cannot compare but was certainly remarkable. Answers have been sent to CO. Phptos of MrsEHD on the boardwalk and geojey (green hoodie back to camera - teenagers!) on the Rocks. Thanks for setting.
Answers sent. This is spectacular place. I’m glad that I got to see it in sunny weather.

early start, and headed out to Flinders Chase and Cape du Couedic
visited the lighthouse, the Arch and Weir Cove before heading over here
admiring the scenery along the way
very quiet today, and basically had the place to ourselves
the rocks were impressive, providing a unique geological spot along the exposed coastline
strolled out and spent a bit of time just wandering around the rocks on the exposed weathered granite domed inselberg formation
Answers now sent to CO
so changing to a find

What can I say but what a fantastic geological site.
The best I have seen as a geologist.
The best I have seen as a geologist.
Visited here with Coybear2000 and some friends while sightseeing around Kangaroo Island. I had been here 33yrs ago, before geocaching existed, and I still find this area stunning and fascinating. TFTC.
Done with Trodectus as part of our family tour. Arrived and walked to rocks to obtain info. Spectacular formation and view. Lots of info on formation along the path. TFTEC
While on a family holiday to South Australia we decided to visit Kangaroo Island. Seeing Remarkable Rocks was a must do. Such an amazing rock formation. Answers sent to CO. TFTC and for bringing us here!
We were here - Joodie & Joodax
after work walk, wine and relax!
Team Idefips and CADS11 Thanks for the cache and yellow dandelion.
Our great Australian adventure is over and all that remains is work . As always. Not all caches were logged during the trip, as the owners require responses to be sent. And that cannot be done during transfers. Maybe so, but I like order and for that I need peace and a big monitor .
Visiting the Great Ocean Road and Kangaroo island were firmly in our itinerary and they did not disappoint us one bit. Spectacular views, fantastic weather, gentle breeze, pleasant sea air, ... so many plus points . We enjoyed every second here.
I even didn't mind driving the car in the left lane and with the steering wheel on the right (that is, except for some intersections in Melbourne) . But after returning to Europe, it's a problem, because I mix up the sides and turn on the wipers instead of the blinkers .
Visiting Kangaroo Island was an imaginary icing on the cake. Friends, if you think visiting Kangaroo Island is perhaps unnecessary and you have already seen everything on your trip to Australia, you are very wrong. Don't miss it .
You simply MUST visit these shacks! It's better than visiting a modern art gallery. You must bring a camera and a snack, because you will be staying here . And even though I'm a big miser, here FitiPaldi is a must.

Naše velké australské dobrodružství skončilo a zůstala jenom práce . Jako vždy. Ne všechny keše se podařilo během cesty zalogovat, protože owneři vyžadují zaslání odpovědí. A to se během přesunů nedá dělat. Možná ano, ale já mám rád pořádek a k tomu potřebuji klid a velký monitor .
Návštěva Great Ocean Road a Kangaroo island měly v naší cestě pevné místo a ani trochu nás nezklamaly. Spektakulární výhledy, fantastické počasí, vlahý větřík, příjemný mořský vzduch, ... tolik plusových bodů . Užili jsme si tady každou sekundu.
Dokonce mně vůbec nevadilo řízení auta v levém pruhu a s volantem vpravo (teda kromě některých křižovatek v Melbourne) .

The third highlight in the Flinders Chase National Park is the remarkable rocks. We took lots of fotos. A lot of tourists were there and most of them were Germans, really funny…

Thanks!
I had been to the Remarkable Rocks in 2000 with my late husband. What a splendid opportunity to revisit them with my current husband and to show him all the things I love about Kangaroo Island. Tftc.
Day two of our tour of Kangeroo Islands and we made our way to the SW corner. These rocks truly are remarkable. We hiked around and made sure that we didn't get too close to the steep part. Lovely spot for sure.

Was here months ago, but forgot to submit this cache, alas a rainy winters day when I came.
Goldy and Jimmy are off to Kangaroo Island to see some sights and pick up some caches along the way.
I enjoyed a variety of different caches, seeing cool spots and catching up with GooseyC for dinner on Thusday night.
All caches stamped with joint "Jimmy and Goldy" stamp.
My highlight was the Vivonne Bay Rock Pool, Jimmy's was seeing the seals at Admiral's Arch.
We walked around the rocks and made our observations, which have been sent to CO.
We didn't realise how many rocks were here or how big they were. Very cool EarthCache idea and location. Was cool to find out how these were formed.
This was the site of year 10 camp at my school for so many years but stopped before I could go so it was good to finally be here.
A favourite point allocated.
Thanks Team Idefips and CADS11 for this cache, which brings Goldy's total find count to 2470 on the 10th of February 2023.
**South Australia is hosting a Mega! February 29th, 2024 in Adelaide. Hope to see you at The Great Leap Forward**

Owl is on Kangaroo Island with Ostrich, Magpie and Bowerbird to celebrate the 80 year friendship of Magpie and Bowerbird. The one advantage for Owl is that Bowerbird is the Magnificent Muggle and absolutely insists on Owl caching. Of course, Owl is happy to oblige. A new day and another big road trip! As Ostrich had never been to Kangaroo Island before, this stop was essential, though the physical capabilities of her companions meant it was mostly at a distance - for them at least! Thanks for the earthcache.
Such an amazing place to visit! I thoroughly enjoyed wandering around the rocks, appreciating their unique formations and colours. Thank you for placing an earthcache here.
Day 7 of our week long family holiday on KI! Headed out to Flinders Chase NP in the morning, and did Admirals Arch, Weirs Cove and Remarkable Rocks, logging caches as we went!
Geokids loved the seals at the Arch, but we’re disappointed the flying fox was no longer operational (or even visible) at the cove!
Answers sent, thanks so much for the info provided in the description- so interesting!!

One of the most beautiful places. Could’ve spent hours here watching the sun bounce the shapes on the rocks. What a great spot for an earthcache - TFTC
Found on our family holiday to Kangaroo Island. Day 3 on the island meant a big day trip to Flinders Chase. Wow how the fire has changed things since we last visited. This was the highlight of the day by far. While driving in we saw a 737 jet fly past very low. Perhaps observing whales or maybe a airforce training run? Who knows, but it was quite a sight. After a million photos were taken we collected the required information which has been submitted to the CO. Thanks for another great EC CADs11
Thanks for the EC cads11. Found the whole area very interesting. The rock formations along the whole coastline are stunning.
Tagging along with friends on an epic adventure. Leaving our South Gippsland home with a days notice and driving 1061km straight through to Emu bay, Kangaroo Island as the Ferry we were going to board, was now out of action.
These are the caches we stopped to find along the way. Thanks to all cache owners for placing and maintaining caches in such amazing places.

Brought my family here for the first time in about 15 years. The rocks haven't changed, surprise surprise, and they probably won't change in the next 15 years either.
Wandered around for a while and took the obligatory pictures.

This was one of two geological spots we were determined to visit, as is obvious the weather was a bit of a shocker, hence the jacket, plus the jacket with hood.. Despite the wind these beauties were worth the huge amount of time we spent here just looking at them in amazement, in fact if we got in the right spot we were almost completely out of the wind too.
There is a huge new walkway under construction at the moment and there are even toilets here now, good idea too, saves seeing peoples toot paper blowing all over the conservation park yuk.
we were pleased that the caution police had not stopped people getting tto close to the rocks also, it almost had a 'feel' about them. Absolutely awesome spot.
Thanks Team Idefips and CADS11 for this great earthcache, made us stay a bit longer to enjoy the rocks.

We were the only people here for awhile when we got here. We thought it would be really rainy today but it was sunny while we were here. I loved the rocks, especially the one I could crawl into.
