Yay, Found It with the Team Tassie group (see my log for GC9V59P) - or part thereof.
Have walked all the way from Big Bend (8am) to find this cache, having just plodded down the steep zig zags from Cathedral Rock (GCYF3E) in the gloaming, then needing torches, and it's now fully dark!
A few of our group being previous finders, have walked by, but more of us still need the find, so we set about a torchlight search. Hint was handy, although needed to get close enough to spot the item that the hint describes - I'm guessing it would be more visible in daylight!
Anyway, find it we did, and the log was signed as 'Team Tassie' to cover those in the group who are claiming the find.
Although a long day, both in hours and kilometres, it was very satisfying to find all caches along the way - no DNFs!
Thanks Team Bubble Tea, for the cache and the adventure.
Cheers, EPs.

Next target is finding the cars in the dark!
On my previous (abandoned) visit to Cathedral rock, I said to myself I would search for this cache on the way back (as I was fighting the closing in weather). I ultimately turned around on that occasion and completely forgot about finding this cache on that day until I had gone well past it.
Anyway; today a group of us walked from Big Bend along Thark Ridge. This cache was found by torchlight, where we came upon stainless-steel-rat sitting in the dark after a few of the lead group had just kept going to the car park. A search was undertaken and the cache was eventually located and signed for the group. I think the time was about 9:08pm.
By this time I was feeling quite tired and cramped, and my shoes had just about given out (not to mention my legs and sense of humour). The zig zags down were taxing even though they were much better that the previous terrain (2.6km/h instead of 0.6).

The final cache after an epic day. The legs hated the scramble down from Cathedral but hated the constant jarring of the downhill zigzag even though the surface was better. The tragedy was that it was dark by now, the team was looking much the worse for wear and we still had quite a walk ahead of us before the welcome site of the cars greeted us some 14 hours after commencing. Would hate to do it the other way round!

The last cache of a very long and difficult day. Found in utter darkness by torchlight. Not a long way from Betts Road but it is a long way from Thark Ridge where we started out at 8am, and finding this cache at 8.55pm.
Now to get back to the cars.
Thanks Team Bubble Tea

Beautiful walk today, up Cathedral rock, continuing along the ridge past Montague thumbs, Norris’ hut to Wellington falls. Back down along Wellington falls track and Siphon track. We skipped Mr Montague as we were a bit short on time. Fortunately the rain stayed north of us. This cache was the last of 5 caches we found. We forgot this cache on the way up but remembered on the way down. In good condition. Dry and in good condition. TFTC!
Found it after a bit of a wander this way and that!!! Was just putting back in place and two sets of muggles from both directions came past at the same time though luckily didn't notice me skulking about up there
Had a look for this one on the way in but the GPS wouldn't settle, so tried again on the way it with much better luck. This is a nice walk with nice views and even the part just to this cache is worth while, so thanks Team Bubble Tea.
Today we decided to collect a number of caches in Wellington Park with a route taking us along the pipeline, to Wellington Falls, up Mt Montagu, across the Montagu Thumbs to Cathedral Rock and back down to the pipeline. 27km and 9h of hiking, it was tough but the views and the caches were worth it.
This one was the last one of the day. Once the GPS settled it was easy to locate the large object and the cache. Now to cross the river and up Siphon track which was ridiculously steep. TFTC

A nice early morning walk along the river before making the climb up to the top. TFTC!

Took us 2 go's to find this one! Further off track than we thought. Good cache.
I wasn't intending on walking to this cache today, but we were in the area, so I thought why not! We have walked along this track and past this cache many times without knowing it was there. This is such an incredibly beautiful place, I often come here and mosey along the river to clear my head after a bad day. At first we walked down the big hill before I read the hint (oops!) but we were soon back on track and managed to find the cache with a little bit of a search. Mr 4yo was very happy to make a swap for a super cool compass. TFTC!
Went for a walk to Cathedral Rock today and collected this on the way. Needed to refer to the hint as the GPS was pointing 8m away.

Found while on a reconnoitering trip in the area (looking for the start of the Siphon Track). Cache found quickly thanks to the clues and hint. Contents in excellent shape - all dry and secure. Encountered numerous people on the main track including a school expedition. we all enjoyed the good weather and peaceful surroundings. Thanks for the cache Team Bubble Tea.
We got a bit lost on the hike up the trail (don't know how!) but the geocache coords helped us get back on track. TFTC. TNLN
Found on a hot afternoon. First cache for a couple of muggles we are introducing to the world of caching. Lovely spot on a lovely walk. TFTC
Found today, nice cache. When I was looking some people walked past and wondered if they should be heading towards me. O told them i was off the path and so they kept walking, then quickly went to cache wrote in log. Left a new pen and took a travel bug Palace Rock AU 2.
Found yesterday on the way back from climbing Cathedral Rock!
Lovely section of mossy forest alongside the river, thanks for the cache
swapped some travelbugs

I set off today to get all four caches on the Cathedral Rock Track. After what had been a better than expected walk so far. I made it to the this my first GZ. I could see the cache from quite some distance as I approached the GZ. I had wandered up down the track a short while not anticipating the need to go off road.
Beautiful cold day, great enjoyed stroll on the easy pathway for PTPT series as long long way walked return for six hours.. Easy to find very well thanks
I've been looking at doing a walk to the Montagu Thumbs but not having done any real walking around here I wanted a walk to see what the trails are like and the idea of grabbing a cache while doing the short walk to this one made it a perfect choice.
After a pleasant walk to GZ it took me a while to find in the end with the GPS saying 8 meters, (not surprising with this level of tree cover) I spotted the cache its in good condition and I added my name to list finders.
Didnt carry on but turned round and headed back to the car, doing a cache like this before breakfast is a great way to start the day. I'll be back to do a bigger planned walk another day.
Thanks for the cache

I looked for this a couple of years ago but now realise I was nowhere near it then. Today, on my way back from Montagu Thumbs, I searched again. This time, with the clue, the cache was found and logged Thanks Team Bubble Tea.
On the way to cathedral rock we stopped here for another break.
A very nice spot.
Thank you for the cache

Found on the way to Cathedral Rock as part of the event Assault on Cathedral Rock. One half of TT's had a great day on the mountain. Mr T took the challenge and was rewarded with good company and views making the journey to this cache memorable. TFTC
Found yesterday on way to Cathedral Rock, very pleasantly walk beside the River. Good hide and easy find using hint. TFTC Team Bubble Tea.

Hi team bubble team. Found this cache on the way up to cathedral rock. A nice cache, but the coords were out for me. Luckly being in a large group this was found quickly.
What a great spot for a break on the way to the top. Took a whale and left a soldier. TFTC
Whilst taking part in th "Assault On Cathedral Rock" event we walked past this cache on the way. It was a good opportunity for a break and a cahnce to look for this cache. As a group we looked for the cache and it was located quite quicky. After we all signed the log, a check of our GPS showed that we were still 12m from where our GPS thought GZ should be. Guess the terrain and tree cover made our GPS a little erratic today. The cache and its contents were in good condition. TFTC Team Bubble Tea.
We were out this way placing a suitcache, so it was an opportunity to seek out this cache! We found it without too much trouble, thanks to the hint and previous logs, but witout them we might have been searching much longer in the wrong direction! TNLN TFTC
Found with AINSTAR in our way to cathedral rock. Used team swampy coords for a quick find. TFTC!
Decided today was a good day to attempt "Groovy Church Music" at Cathedral Rock which had been recommended to us by another cacher. We were very pleased to see that we could nab this cache on the way up and were even more pleased when this cache helped us to find the right track. Somehow very early on we lost the track near the river....tried walking along the river bed but the rocks were treacherously slippery so we spent a long time following what we thought might be other walkers' trails in the forest....up, down, up, down and more up and more down. We knew from this cache description that it would eventually bring us to the old 4x4 trail so we honed in on the co-ords for the cache and eventually ended up at the right place . Only an hour and a half to get to the first cache If it wasn't for this cache I think geohubby and I would still be up and downing in the forest somewhere. We were already getting a bit tired by the time we found this one but did manage to get to Cathedral Rock after a big effort. Had absolutely no problems following the trail on the way back and laughed at the mere 30 metres or so of rock hopping in the river bed. Easy Peasy. How come we managed to lose ourselves in the first place I'll never know......only took us 6 hours to get back to the car. Team Bubble Tea many thanks for a great hide....Can't tell you how pleased we were to find this one. SL Took a dolphin and left a compass.......yeah, yeah I know, I know.....it didn't help us today but it might be useful for someone else A favourite point from us [^][^][^]
Out braving the cold day..... hoping it wouldn't rain... Success.
Me, and two kids out for Daddy Day....
Congratulations to my daughter who found the cache all by herself after we were looking on the left side of the rock on the right (wrong) side of the road... oh well, someday I will learn to read.
Thanks again

Hi Team Bubble Tea
Dropped the two ladies in my life off at the Kingston Shopping Centre and headed for this cache.
Never been along the road before nor along the track; totally a new experience; thank you.
Walking by the North West River and listening to its crystal tones made the experience all the more noteworthy.
The GPS was playing up a bit, so at one point; the track went its way and I went mine. This meant a small up hill climb to ground zero but that was enjoyable enough. Re-found the track below the cache hide and without the clue "Up there!" says I. The cache was in hand and the log signed at 1238hrs.
The track and I took the same route on the way out.
Overall, a great walk; very pretty in places; most enjoyable.
TFTC, Merry Christmas and cheers; OldSaint.

Tim Tam and I went for a slow walk to the cache and as I didn't read the description properly, we walked down the steep bit. Re-read the description and back up we went.
Took us a while to find the correct place as there are a couple of places that fit the hint.
Whilst we were logging the cache, I sat the GPSr down and averaged a new set of coords. Those following may like to try S42 56.502 E147 12.530.
TNLN, thanks for the cache Team Bubble Tea

I knew when Swampy said lets go caching that I should have worn my boots rather than my sneakers. A slow careful trip to the cache as it was very slippery on the track. Took a bit of searching once we arrived and the GPSr didn't really know which way it was going either but eventually located the cache. Considering how wet everything was around us I was surprised to find the log book safe and perfectly dry. Took nothing left nothing. Thanks for the cache
We have combined our accounts and are re-logging under our new account name.
An enjoyable cache for my final of the afternoon. As expected, the GPS signal was all over the place, but after refreshing myself with a drink and a snack, I used the clue and found the cache fairly quickly. TFTC! I'll be back sometime to complete the entire walk.
Found while on my way over to Wellington Falls.
The GPSr was a bit dodgy here but a quick look around the area soon revealed the cache. It's a good spot and would seem unlikely to be muggled.
TNLN. Thanks.

On the way up to Cathedral Rock, I had a look for this for about 10 minutes and couldn't find it.
On the way back, I had another go, and found it in a lovely spot (though the GPSr consistently read 25m, and it's further off the track than one might expect at first glance).
I took the Hippo travel bug.
Thanks for a beautiful walk!

We've done this walk numerous times and no matter how many times you do it its always enjoyable.
Love tracks that wind along a river, there is always so much to look at
Thanks Team Bubble Tea for the cache!, with Dippys log and the new hint it was an easy find.

Dippies notes helped here. iPhone GPS was all over the place, but wasn't too hard when using the clue as well.
Luckily I was mainly wanting the exercise today so I wasn't too disappointed I couldn't find it.
I didnt have Dippys previous log on my GPS otherwise I may have had more luck.
Thanks anyway TBT

[I love the walk to Cathedral Rock, but was happy just to go part of the way today. I wondered if the cache would be at the rest stop where there's the first view of it looming above. It wasn't, so we walked the extra 570m on so that we could have the nice view and break there. Then we walked back to GZ. Accuracy ranged from 10 - 20m, and I found myself looking up and down on both sides of the track. Finally left GPS in middle of track (to have better chance to settle) and went wandering. That was when I found it (hint most helpful). To future finders, it's easiest to] leave the track before starting going steeper downhill. Left of track when heading to Cathedral Rock.[A very enjoyable walk, thanks for the cache, TBT. Hopefully an incentive for people to go on this fantastic walk!]
We saw this published yesterday but were unable to go due to time restraints. We decided to go for it today, realising that we probably wouldn't be first to find. Got to GZ at 1330 after a very picturesque walk. We took some time to locate the right boulder and was pleasantly surprised to find a clean log book. Left TB. Thanks for bringing us to a very beautiful and peaceful place.
