Logs
Found cache in exactly the right location but there is a lot of rubbish at GZ - will need to come back and tidy but have moved it slightly West and now attached to a nearby piece of metal. Will try to get unarchived as was here all along... TFTC Felix!
As this cache has been out of action for too long, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.

I like how there is no give aways on yhis location. Doesn't need it! Cheers!

A real shame about the state of this cache site. It has turned into a dumping ground. No sign of the cache but I'm sure it is there somewhere. I wasn't willing to let my wee buddy have much of a look.
Reading the logs I decided this was one to do without the Beans, and I was right. No one sleeping here but a mini rubbish dump. Such a shame as it's a great spot, thank you for hiding it.
Pleased the container is not inside the bunker. Not a nice place. A quick find and all in order. TFTC
#1290 I have been avoiding this one with rumour of someone sleeping here - but no one has used the bunker in a long time. Quick find. TFTC
No luck on this for me today....

Very good, you need to stand back & think. Nice find after a DNF at Hermits cave.
Took a moment to figure out what the hint meant but a quick find after that TFTC
Found right next to some homeless person's duvet. Really interesting place for a cache. Sl. Tftc
#698. Back in the nieghbourhood today and filling in some time before an airport pick-up. After a DNF here last time, I thought I would keep an open mind about it this time and think outside the square. I soon saw a new possibility and quickly had the container in hand and the log signed. Looking back on my last log entry I must have been in a bad mood that day. Yes the bunker is grotty but the cache hide is well placed in an area unlikely to cause any risk of picking up diseases! TTFC Felix!
The bunker is evidently being used for a less fortunate persons storage however gloves weren't needed for the cache to be found. #5
Had very quick look in the bunker. Full of very nasty debris and a stash possibly used by the homeless. Figured I was more likely to find hepatitis there than a cache so flagged it away. May come back some stage if desperate but will bring disposable gloves. Got to be better places to go caching?
Found the right place but looked creepy like someone was sleeping in there : /
Didn't fully find because it looked creepy and like someone was living in there!
Found it but didn't want to touch anything didn't look very safe in there with broken tills and what looks like someone's make shift bed.
Obviously someone is using this as a residence. Wouldn't suggest going to this cache.
Quick find by papa bear, it would appear that someone may have set up camp but they weren't home thankfully. TFTC
Way to creepy to attempt, didn't feel safe with my young child in tow, also the trackable wasn't left in this one, I loaded it wrong on my phone.
Super quick find - luckily! There were a few old looking blankets in the bunker - I was a little freaked out someone might be under them! I didn't stick around to find out... Thanks for the hide
Had scoped this out on two other occasions with geogirl and we chickened out both times. In my attempt for club 732 needed two caches today and this fitted my outing destination. Had seen a place that I would hide a cache on the first visit and was relieved that my instincts were quickly rewarded today. Not somewhere I wanted to linger or want to revisit.
nice find on a south coast walk. Looks like someone sleeping rough here at times. Only find on a brief south coast walk. Muggled out of other two target caches for today. TFTC
A spot of early morning caching before meetings in this area of wellington and then having to head north once again for yet more meetings, Its always a shame how work interferes with caching.
The bedding for the homeless is still in the bunker, no sign of the homeless man

Happened to be in the area today on business of importance, i.e. geocaching!
We've passed by this one a few times. Looked at the logs and thought 'dodgy', so today we decided to take a look. Things looked quite passive, some signs of Kong having been in the bunker but no roaring, chest beating or other intimidations as we made or hesitant visit. Seems OK.
Once at GZ we made a straightforward find on the cache.
Cache is in order; log signed and cache safely re-hidden, just as found.
TFTC found with team cacher Sweet P too
The Turtle strikes again!

could not find cache and the 'bunker' was in a severe state - I would not recommend anyone going to this location as it is unsanitary. Keep away!!!
the bunker was a state and unsanitary - I would not recommend anyone visit this cache and have reported it to owner. Do not go here alone, at night or at all if possible!
Thanks for the cache, found while on a numbers run on a trip to the capital. Will hopefully find the time later on to add to my generic logs. (and edit the date)..
I overcomplicated finding the cache, and it took me a little while to get back to basics and find GZ. Bit of a depressing scene at the bunker. TFTC !
had friends with me out that way so we took a look.. it is very smelly and wet and rather yuk.. nobody would want to be there now..even his blue track pants are wet, the duvet wet, the pillow soaking!! and even the 'board/cardboard under all this soaking bedding is rotting.......not nice......
Straightforward find. Signs that Kong has been sleeping here

Found it during a trip around Kilbirnie - Newtown - Lyall Bay - Kilbirnie. Nice sunny day with strong windy Thanks. Fortunately nobody was "home".
Probably I wrote wrong date in logbook (29.9.13).

Someone has set up house in GZ. Not planning to go anywhere near it. Needs reviewing.

this seriously needs reviewing and disabling for a while. even if resident is not there I would hate to be in there looking for the cache and he returned...too scary to think about.....sorry
definitely found GZ but the resident was asleep on it on the right side of his 'bunker'. amazing my approach didn't wake him!!!!!! I scuttled fast...
Never noticed this spot before and have driven past here a bit over the last few weeks. Not sure when Kong was last sleeping here as blankets are a bit mouldy. Looks like his drink of the day was the bottle of turps I found. Did find what I came looking for though. TFTC!!
Find #58 of the 100 day challenge. We tried this one a month ago in the dark, but backed out when we saw bedding inside, so support the comments below. We were in the area again, this time during the day, and so checked no one was here and then sneaked in for a quick grab. Thanks.
Cache # 1,066 - did today with Violet Butterfly. Difficulty level of this has gone up, as someone has "moved in" to the bunker. Fortunately they were not at home, but their bedding and their laundry were. A bit creepy. Cache there, and not likely to be found by the current occupant, but this is now definitely NOT a cache to do at night time. TNLNSL. TFTC!
Found with Heroica1010 as my guide after the wonderful Reel Deal event! TFTC! :3
After having to by pass two other caches back up the road due to muggles being in close proximity, it was nice to be able to quickly pick this one up muggle free. No problems and all good at the GZ. TFTC
TFTC! Done a few round the bays tonight, the wind picking up. The kids were a great help!
Was about to search somewhere else when I spied a more likely spot and sure enough came up with the cache.
