caching in a high muggle area is always a challenge, some people give you strange looks others pretend to understand, tftc
Got majorly muggled here while standing down on the steps just around the corner signing the log. I do enjoy trying to explain how we use expensive mega million dollar satellites to find hidden plastic containers around the place, cache was a bit wet here today, TFTC
Found it left some capsHad muggles thinking we were on crack. I have a spider in my hair
Day 14 of our Enzed adventures with Robmc and we say farewell to Dunedin and head to Invercargill so the fellas can visit the motorcycle museums. Most of the morning was just driving the scenic route with intermittent rain, time constraints and some closures meaning we skipped quite a few caches. After we arrived and the fellas had their fill we toured around town and headed to Bluff for the afternoon until hunger and cold sent us back indoors. Cache was found but it is very very wet and could do with some love. Thanks for contributing to the fun
Day Fourteen of our epic New Zealand Adventure with The Morris. The Mega day today and we spent it traveling from Dunedin to Invercargill. The weather improved this morning, and only occasional shower during our trip.We left early and were in Invercargill by lunchtime.A quick find in an obvious spot. Thanks, Robmc.
Tricky find but satisfying when we did find it. Looking through previous hints helped
Quick find tonight. Late enough to not have anyone around. Thanks for the cache.
Overthought this one - its pretty easy really - looking at the previous hints helped!
Gorgeous find! NOT actually on the Yule House property as title might suggest, so you dont have to worry about trespassing. Someone left a gorgeous stone pendant!! We left multiple good swaps in return and rebagged everything.
Came down from Auckland to tramp around Stewart Island.Arrived in Invercargill this morning and cached up a storm. Got close to dinner so we went back to our room and decided where to have dinner and Mrs NZT logged our caches. Found we were 3 away from a nice round 60 so after dinner while Mrs NZT kept an eye on the Black Caps playing Aussie I headed out on foot to see grab at least 3 more.Started in the wrong corner initially but was relieved to lay hands on it at second attemptTFTC
Greetings from BrisbAne Australia. We are on a 2 week holiday around the south island and today we headed from TeAnua to Invercargill and picked up some smileys along the way. I followed the hint and bravely had the cache in hand. Thanks kiwiarmy for taking us here and for placing this cache here for us to enjoy
House is well kept and is in great condition. Hint was a tad confusing at first until we figured out what was going on.TNLN. TFTC.
Interesting place to see - beautifully restored inside. Cache is on next door property...
About 6m off the zero point I finally found the cache on my second attempt.TFTC,bahaMAfive
A nice quick find. Thanks for placing your cache. Occaisionally signed MK+KR on some of the caches today, and apologies for the generic logs.
Ms_KR and I are heading to Invercargill for a tramping club 75th jubilee, so we left a bit early in hope that the weather would be fine, so we could get a bit of caching in. So far it has been good, fingers crossed for the rest of the time away.
Thanks to all CO's for publishing and maintaining their caches.

Oooh this one was a tricky one, Gabby59 managed to get her hands on it after a lot of feeling around. TFTC
Day trip to Invercargill with Mr Cat and Co to find some caches. And learn some history. Tftc
Found it on the second time coming after going to mitre 10 for a coffee and to have a think where it could be it’s not exactly on the Yule House Area but we found it
This cache took a bit of locating but I found it. Good to see and read about Yule House, which I never knew about until now. TFTC, it is well hidden - a logical hide though - but I had to find it by feel rather than by looking.
Thanks for the bit of history while we stayed a night in Invercargill. The cache took a fair bit before we found it but luckily it was a quiet night with no muggles anywhere to be seen.
Thanks,
Thanks,
Reading all the activities and your hints really helped. Bit of a “reach of faith” through the scratchy jungle produced gold.
A cold wind and a shower did not deter us, quickly found where the clue said it was, tftc. We will keep on, heading to Stewatt Island from Blenheim.
Visiting Invercargill for the first time to catch up with family. Had the afternoon free to cache and explore the central city. Managed to find 12 caches, and 2 I passed on because there were muggles around. Thanks for the history here. Cache all fine.
Hunted and hunted. No joy. With Tokerau . Looks like will have to come back
*Nice day going from cache to cache with woolwood9.*

This is a delight ful old cottage and well worth restoring etc I would have liked to have visited the inside but NO.
while i am down in Invercargill waiting for husband and son to re appear from their 5 day tramp over at Stewart Island i managed to visit quite a few of the local caches as well as some a little way out of town. I had about 3 DNF but the success rate was very pleasing and i hope i have not got too many muddled. This was quickly found thanks to the clear hint and exact co ords I took some photos which i will log once i am home with more efficient computer.
thank you for the cache

Cache 364 No matter where I went today cache hunting there seemed to be a flood of muggles everywhere, had to make a dash for this one atleast it wasn’t a hard find but note it’s not quite at the Yule house if your hunting, cache in great shape T4TC
Interesting history of this old house
For some reason the phone put me in the wrong corner. With a plant that looked a lot like stinging nettle, growing within the spiky tree, was reluctant to put my hand in. But then I could not see the cache either.
So after awhile, reading more logs, looked over the other side, and spotted another spiky plant, and in the corner was the cache.
Thanks for the history and the hide kiwiarmy

Some protective gloves would have been handy for this prickly hide. Thankfully the slices on the hands paid off.
I'm finally home and in lockdown so am able to catch up with my logging from our recent visit to Stewart Island. We had managed to get off the island but couldn't get a flight back to Ak for 2 days so we decided to collect some caches in the area we were staying. Vicious plants in this garden and we got a couple of sliced hands retrieving the cache
Nice hiding spot. Took me a few minutes before I realised where it would be. TFTC
Finally nabbed this one on a quiet Saturday night in town. 3rd try, each previous time too many muggles tftc
Stormy day find. Had found this one before when it was in the wet awkward place. GPS green box dry and full of swag in the easy place, drier than it's been for a long time and no scratches today. TFTC mate.
Club night wander around finding caches to finish geocaching honour. Found with southlandicebergs the CO, firekitten, geoman13, and the most of the of club. RB,AR,CB,DW,IM,ZA. Good find, now on to Yellow box. TFTC. BTW those who are searching...it is not on the property of the house or the fence of house.
This cache is on private property without permission and knowledge of the inhabitants. At least there should be a not to find at night attribute and write up.
