The time has come for this series to retire. Thanks to all the finders, hope you enjoyed the game.
I've noticed I have not been chasing down these caches, even though I had planned to! The cache was a good hide and easy to find, the rubbish was disappointing but stops near the road. Now I have to find the others! TFTC
**# 17285** Found on the Qld leg of our 2017 winter escape trip.
Another perfect sunny winter day for a short drive around.
Not any muggles around and a good quick find here.
Not found for 6 months and still nice n dry. Clue noted just in case.
Thanks for the cache ManicWombat,

Working my way around the diamond. All quiet here today although my car GPSr seems to indicate that this area will soon be added to suburbia. Quick find at GZ. TFTC.
Working nearby I had time for a cache before heading for the airport and the plane home. This one was down this strange road that looks like it ends in the bush but then goes on to another estate. Easy to pull up here and wander down for the quickest of finds. Signed and replaced.
Thanks!
Thanks!
Out with Geopartner to find some caches in this area.
After finding the other caches of this series, I was keen to find this one.
We pulled up to near GZ, and headed in.
Arrived at GZ and soon in searching mode.
I located the cache and soon had the cache in hand.
Signed the log and noted the final clue I needed.
TNLNSL TFTC Thanks ManicWombat All good with this cache

This one was a nice easy find. I managed to remember to pick up the clues for the multi.
Today we explored Ipswich and surrounds using geocaching as a guide.
Will add the co-ords to our list.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

I was near by so decided to take the chance to look for the bandits. I have been down these roads a couple of times before but I always feel a little list about these parts for some reason.
In any case I found a spot to park and after deciding no tanks were goonin to help I went Bush for a little way.
My phone was playing nice and the coord s were good so I soon had the cache in hand.
Thanks for the cache manic.

I was pretty slack and didn't get around to loading the GPS with today's hitlist as I thought we would be in Brisbane and phone signal wouldn't be a problem. Well the phone was playing silly buggers here. Checked about four large trees before the goods were found.
TFTC the GPS was having a ball reeling us in and out at this cache. At big tree number three ,the goods were located.
Out on the bikes with teamdfl for a few hours collecting the nearby Koda Trail caches.
I was pleased to see that I would also get this one on our ride today, as I've had 1st and 3rd Bases done for ages! dfl waited at the road while I stumbled around in my bike shoes looking for the hide. Not too hard to spot. Clues noted, and now I can plan that wander around White Rock I've been wanting to do... TFTC, ManicWombat.

Dropped in to grab Franky the frog TB and Magners TB. Dropped off Car - Drive (TB Racer)
Let me just say I haven't been to second base for a while!
Part two of a late night foray on the area found me making lots of noise as I trampled the dry leaves down to GZ. The area had a creepy feel, but as there was no one else around I knew I was safe. Seeing the clue for home base made me realise I may not have recorded the clue from first base....oh dear....back I will have to go!
I left a couple of TBs
Thanks for the hide MW

Out on another cacheing afternoon with hiltonclan. Quick and easy find thanks for the cache..
Managed to track this one down quite quickly. The first one i have found in the series and looking forward to complete the rest. Tftc.
Out on a sunny Sunday afternoon with Guddink and Nurseyjulie, and I parked near GZ and ran into the bush.
A quick find and I popped back on to the road to join the convoy
Can't wait to get up into White Rock C.P. and do your other caches.
TFTC ManicWombat!

After finding all the caches to track down the final in this series, I discovered I had thrown out or misplaced the clue from this one. Mind you I had found it quite a while ago. Pays to write it in the journal and not keep lots of slips of paper. So popped back in today to get the necessary. Grabbed the TB to move on as well.
Glad we've now collected all 3 bases. Now on the home run but that will have to be another day.

Headed out for an FTF hunt of a nearby cache. This one was in the road out so it was and easy park and a little walk down the hill for mr 2 and I. An easy find and a piggy back up the hill for Mr 2. TFTC from Mrs PJATPAC
Hint really helped, a nice grab close to home. Thought the pen wasn't working, went back to car, back to spot, signed, great hide.

Managed to reach second base safely. Now if only I can get to third. Another great hide. TFTC
Another park the car, pick up the cache, sign the log and back into the aircon car day today! TFTC
Any old clown can play baseball and run to the plates in order, but it takes real skill to somehow find the 2nd base last! Before I go headed in the direction of the base plate, I wanted to get the rest done and happened to be in the are today with Net88 so just try and stop me taking a swing!
Found a good spot to park in this odd area.. an estate that has been forgotten and only half built it seemed? No time for that, cache to be found and we headed off. I seemed to take a scenic route and managed to trip over at one point, much to the delight of Net. Once the GPS guided us in to the right area, the cache was a quick find. Recorded the hint, added names and rehid as found. Now to just hit that home run! TFTC ManicWombat

Haha reliving the memory of Captain T tripping now.. you must understand that someone like the Captain does not trip often so when it happens you appreciate it! We seemed to take a longer way in to the cache and i only realised once we got there and i saw the almost direct path straight to the car. The cache was a nice quick find. Thanks for the cache ManicWombat
Last one! But, nuts! The clue doesn't line up with the ones I copied from the other caches...my copying skills need some work! Back to the battery's box for another lap...
Heading out to Lake Manchester to meet IolantheK for some hunting This was along my scenic route to our meeting point. A quick trip down to GZ. Clue noted and back on my way
Now at second base, 1st was found some time ago, am hoping to get around the bases today. This one took a while a lot of big trees, eventually found it signed the log gathered the clue and moving onto 3rd base. TFTC ManicWombat.
Good one ManicWombat the first in this series for me. Looking forward to chasing the others.
Easy find cache laying in open however all been replaced and hidden again. TFTC
Out with Helibear60 nice afternoon drive with Geolab she loved this one and racing through the bush the cache was very exposed so we covered it for the next geocachers all dry inside Our first find in this series TFTC
While cruising over to meet Manic Wombat for a day of caching (what else) I spotted this one and quickly grabbed it. TFTC
Nice easy find in the drizzly weather today. I now standing on 3rd ready to come home and score.
My first find for today, Happy Leap Day!! It was a bit of a trek for me as I'm feeling a bit precious today. found a few spiders along the way. GPS danced a little and kept telling me just to go another 2 metres, so I would go another 2 metres and it would say, Just 2 more metres. Grrr, Madethe find, Cache in excellent condition. Took Santa eraser and left a Stickem Simpsons toy. Thanks for the scrub run.
Found easily, even though the cloud cover was not helping my GPS at all.

Was out for an early morning bike ride and had marked out a couple of caches to pick up on the way. I'd looked for this one before it got moved but unfortunately it had been destroyed by some major earthworks. I parked my bike next to the road and bush bashed my way towards GZ. I was about 10m away when my GPS batteries went flat. Oh well, back to my bike - fortunately I had some spare batteries (scouts motto - be prepared). Back through the bush again towards GZ and bingo found cache. Signed log and bush bashed my way back to my bike. Using one hand, I turned off my GPS and was putting it in my backpack when I wondered why on earth I was using only one hand to do this. I looked down at my other hand and saw the pen from the cache there. AAAARRRRR. Back through the bush to the cache, dropped off the pen then finally, for the third time, back to my bike. I'm just glad all the snakes decided to have a day at home today. TFTC. SL.
I became a little concerned that I was driving out into the sticks, but no, it was simply some as yet undeveloped land between estate areas. You have to wonder how long these pockets of bushland will survive. The amount of rubbish dumped in this area is rather concerning but there is still something wonderful about being out here in the bush on a weekday afternoon. Thanks for the trip: look forward to running through the other bases in due course.
First to find new container . An interesting area - apparently you can't drive to GZ given the wreck near the way in. A quick find and the cache is in good condition. Thanks ManicWombat

This cache is back in business with a new container and contents, and a new location. Hopefully this area will not be trashed by earthmoving machines any time soon.
Checked today and area is closed off for construction work. I intend to try to retrieve the original cache if still there (hopefully this weekend), if not I have another cache ready to go complete with the clue for home base. Plan is to find a new location not far from the original site for the hide.
Went looking this morning for this cache but there is a lot of new roadworks/construction where I think the path should have been. I suspect this cache may no longer be with us . It was a long walk back uphill once I had ridden my bike through this beautiful area. Enjoyed the ride but couldn't make it a smiley.
Relogging this under individual account, previously a member of Gaz'n'Kab account.
Found this very nicely placed cache on a wet night. The track in was horrible, however it has been raining for the past couple of days.
Very glad to have knocked off the final of the bandits series and now we can go get the Home Base.

There certainly was some funky goings-on where I parked for this one. There was a group of fellows just "sitting" in a car in the abandoned car park. Hmmm. Made sure my valuables were secure and made my way to GZ. This was an enjoyable walk - especially after it became more "rainforesty". I found the cache after a small hunt and collected the clue. Got back to the car and it was still intact and not missing wheels TFTC ManicWombat
Live nearby, so took the 5 geokids, wife and dog for a stroll throught the bush. Once we located the track found the cache with no problems.
Went out for a ride on our mountainbikes, found the cache fairly easily, I would say that this cache is much easier to get to from one end of the track than the other, naturally we chose the other. All good anyway TFTC
Clearing the maintenance log (better late than never). Big hint, the cache is not in a place where floods will easily reach it, read the hint. Happy hunting!
Thanks for showing us this place (what a strangely large carpark for nowhere) We would have loved to continue on, but our very over-excited two and three year olds went racing off ahead of us and the two year old fell into a giant puddle of mud!! T Car L eraser
Well ... I did my best on this one. I followed the GPS back and forth and through the mud and across the river and then back and forth again and... well I had no hope really. I came back and read the clue I should have read first . I will try again another day. I see I am not the only person to have trouble with the GPS. lol I wanted to finish this series too. Lucky it's close to home.
The in car GPS was a little lost towards the end, thankfully I just followed my nose and down a little further I came accrossa suitable access point.
Handy having a 4x4 bedmobile as I was able to drive to within 5 meters.
Noted the clue and now I'm making my way to 3rd base. TFTC.

Nearly got tempted into a bush bash but fortunately took the chance on an easier access point. Found OK thanks.
