Based on the last log I’m archiving this cache. I no longer live in the area and won’t be able to check or replace any time soon.
So so dissapointed, cache burnt to a crisp, tree still smoldering. Nothing left. please let is know when its all replaced.
My muggle husband and I were on our way to have lunch at the golden ox and were a bit early so I suggested that we find a couple of caches . At gz I gathered the information needed, did the sums and off to the final. Near gz there was a tent and my husband was waiting in the car. I nearly went back to the car but realised the tent was empty (I think) . I tip toed around and quietly found the cache with no sign of movement from the tent. I then ran back to car excited with the find. Thanks for taking us here and for placing this cache here for us to enjoy
Enjoyed doing this multi, thank you more happier to find the cache with our answers
Quickly ran around to grab some numbers and made my way to GZ for an easy find. The mozzies sure did like me! TFTC
3/7/19 1:28 pm Find #2566
Out and about giving Omen Innuendo a driving lesson out here as we had to drop 1MinnieMooJnr off to visit a friend. I decided it was high time to clear a couple of caches here that I still had not done, and this was to be the last for the day.
Parking the car, it was time to apply some Bushmans - we weren’t taking chances after our last stop. Unfortunately my usual coaching supplies were not in the car today, and all I had was the super horrible extra strength cream Bushmans rather than the spray. Oh well time to carefully apply sparingly and avoid touching anything plastic until we’d used the wet wipes. Oh yum, some on my lips. Car lolly time!
Finally we wandered over and got the info for the first couple of clues. But the third waypoint no longer exists. Oh dear.
No need to panic tho, a quick check of the cache page revealed it would be an easy number to guess. Phew.
So typing in the new coords, I looked at the map aaaand...
What? Hang on. Time for some rechecking and recalculating. Duh!! Pay attention to the info required silly!
That’s better! Having added to the answers I got, we had a much nicer set of coords and took a short journey down the road and in to GZ. So far so good, but as we made a quick find, the mozzies came out to play, AND the giant cache guardian decided to cling to the cache and refused to let go. Eventually she was extracted without harm to arachnid nor human, and log was signed. Cache carefully returned, and no doubt guardian would also return in her own time. Then we charged out of there back to the car and off home once more. A nice easy little multi, despite the missing clue.
Thanks for the cache Triam & Shell-A.

On reading the cache page we saw that there is a recommendation to use a mosquito repellent, which we ignored to our own detriment. To future cachers, heed the warning take notice of the need to use aeroguard or any other brand item that does the same job as you will need it.
Anyway on to the cache hunt, we wandered around and gathered what info that we could and the one lot that we could not find we guessed and this got us close enough to the required GZ to find the cache container. Until then the mosquito's were not to bad, but touch their cache container and they will get you. All is good with the cache.
The tents are still there, good luck to anyone game enough to share this area with those mosquito's.

Out for a little spin and up to Redcliffe and back today so it was time to cross off a few trackside caches on the way.
Muggle workers in the park but no issues in gathering the required information. However near GZ the muggle mozzie cache guards took at least 1 L away from me.

On a mission to look at cars today and can't do that without finding a cache or two. Collected the info that I needed and son has no patience at all so on to the next car place and while he looked I worked out the co-ords for another day but by chance he drove close by here again so he had to stop and I went in search of the prize but as I found it I see 2 tents in the bush, a red one and an khaki one so I couldn't get out of there quick enough after I signed the log. TFTC
Angus the geodog and I stopped by here before heading home after a quick grab of a few stat hound caches. It was hot this morning and Angus was grateful for the dog water tap in the park! We gathered the necessary info then as he was showing signs of exhaustion, I drove down to the next parking spot and we slowly strolled in to find GZ. No worries locating and quickly signed so I could get him back to the cool of the car! tftc
Stuffed up the information the first time. Went back and got the right stuff. Nice park. Then off to the cache. TFTC
Wanted to pick up some challenge caches, but we had already mozzies here.

Kestal and one half of Jess & Caro headed down the range from Toowoomba nice and early with a rather lengthy geo-list...with a bit of a false start due to roadworks we ended up here first. Made quick work of the calculations and we were soon wandering to the cache. Early morning spider web removal and I was explaining to Caro about Kestal's famed "Arachnoleptic Fit" (resulting in my doubling over in fits of laughter much to her disgust...she doesn't even have to walk through the spider web - just see one!) when we were treated to one!!! Official duties done and we were on our way. TFTC Triam & Shell-A.
First cache for the day with Eskies5 and kestal and woohooo oh yes indeed I LOLFR (laughed out loud for real) when I saw kestal do her her 'becoming more famous by the minute' spider squeal and dance. Sorry, not sorry?!
Thanks for the multicache, Triam & Shell-A!

Our first cache for the morning at 820am to kick things off. Caro from Jess & Caro, Eskies5 and I made a plan to head down from Toowoomba for the day to pick off a few of the caches in this area. A great little multi with the leg work done far quicker than I expected we were headed of GZ. I got the spider dance out of the way quickly and let someone else go in and retrieve it. Quick find here and thanks for the multi Triam & Shell-A
Great sized container for some tbs. Thanks for this cache and showing me some more of this amazing place!
Nice little multi.
I had numbers after WP1 but I visited the 3 WPs anyway since they were close together.
Cheers for the multi

I managed to do this little multi in between rain showers. I had no idea there were so many parks and reserves in this neck of the woods. TFTC Triam and Shell-A and thanks also for the walk
Find #2083 at 18:32. Happy birthday cache to me!
I enjoyed a nice walk around the park, down the street, and into the bush.
At which point I missed the path, and bush-bashed for 40m, before realising I'd mis-transcribed one digit and having to move a short distance away, where I found the cache easily, and of course where I discovered the path that led me back out the easy way.
Coincidentally with the theme of the cache, as I was driving down Anzac Avenue heading for this one, I happened to be listening to an old episode of a geocaching podcast in which they were discussing ANZAC Day. If only I'd left it for another 6 weeks or so...
Thanks for the cache, Triam & Shell-A. I do rather enjoy a nice multi.

We have all the chemicals needed for the pool and it’s time to head home and put in the last few hours of work until 2018, that is after we grab that multi on Anzac Avenue that we have driven past countless times.
At waypoint 3 we thought we hit a snag, the sign we are looking at has nothing about any plants, we do a quick search around and find the plague we are after, end co-ords look good. Yes we could of walked, but in this belting heat we decided to jump in the geo-beast and get a bit closer before we start walking again.
Mr 4ando is now on the look out for ticks, snakes who cares about them! After a quick search we soon had the cache. Now to get back out of here and have a round of golf, whoops our mistake we meant work…

Out this way looking at a boat to buy so what better way to make the drive worthwhile but to add a smiley to my collection.
Quick find with the assistance of many mossies. Thanks for the history lesson. TYFTC.
I forgot to add 1 to D so was about 20m out but found it from the description and the fact that it was poking out. TFTC
After a lil help from paf and owner as one part is missing we soon had numbers in hand and then shortly after had cache in hand. TFTC

This has been a multi close to home that I have been saving for an emergency. I'm not sure what that emergency is but last night it plaqued me that it shows up every time I load the app at home. Today is the day to correct that after having a grand time finding caches at Deagon. I drive past this park nearly every day and have never stopped here. Another tick for caching.
A quick stroll to gather coordinates but I couldn't find the second plaque. Thats weird - there is nothing else here. I started kicking around leaves until I stub my two. There is the missing plaque hiding.
Off to the reserve to try and find a cache. I've lived in Redcliffe all my life and never knew this reserve was here. I sprayed head to toe with insect repellant and made my way in. The GPS was working a treat until I got close and then all hell broke loose. I was trying to stay near the trail but it wanted me to go cross country. The mozzies were thick and after a bit of loop-de-loop I found the tin. One of the quickest log signs in caching history and on my way. tftc

The first Saturday in March always brings me to Rothwell for a conference so I have gradually worked my way around the area's caches.
This one has been a target for quite a while and I have a feeling I must have gained the final coordinates through rather sneaky means from the webpage.
However, I enjoyed the short stroll in and was pleased to find the ammo tin in good condition. TFTC where all is fine.

Nurseyjulie and I made our way to the park to gather the information for this multi. Due to the heat, there was no one in the park, so it was easy to gather what we needed. Soon we were off to another spot where we took a short walk into the bush. At GZ, we quickly located the cache and signed the log. TFTC
A meet up with SevlaGirls for a day in Kippa Ring. A very hot morning here and there was no one in the park. A collect of all the clues and we soon worked out a good set of co-ords from them and the trail head. A short walk into the bush and found a nice big container. TFTC Triam
Edited cache description and coordinates. Information at a waypoint used to determine final coordinates is no longer present.
Thanks it had to be either 2 or 4 sections at the exercise station but how many in each section
Exercise waypoint is missing.

Travelling around Australia and currently staying in Lawnton, Queensland for a few days .
We've been pre-occupied with family 'things' for the last week but today we managed to get out and find a few caches. Stopped our way back from a Redcliffe medical appointment on a very hot morning.
As per lot's of previous finders, we found that the exercise info sign is missing.
Gathered the required info from the remaining waypoint and returned to the cay in the air con to calculate the coords for the final. After some thought on the missing numbers, we came up with a set of good coodinates.
Quick find and returned back to the cool in the car.
Thanks Triam & Shell-A

.out with geo grandson for the afternoon. Excersite board is no longer there so we had to go bush and use our geo senses. TSLS TFTC make sure to take mozzie spray. Cache is in good condition. Took tbs will move them on soon.
Out and about to get ourselves a nice little souvenir.
Despite the last information WP being destroyed/missing, it didn't take much of an educated guess to work out the missing numbers.
Sure enough first set of likely coordinates and found a good looking spot - yup that's it!!

Awesome find almost gave up. Have taken the trackable and replaced it with another his name is Barney.
The signs for the last way point are no longer there so i was not able to get the coordinates to find the cache
With the return of Swellerfungus, the long lost Leyland Brother, from his outback adventuring, the Bromance was back together after an extended separation. Crookedpete and I had signed the log of a challenge cache in London which, among other requirements, necessitated the finding of 20 multi caches in a day. The J.E.F.F. App was deployed to try an locate enough caches that none of us had found. With nearly 10,000 caches between us this was not an easy task in itself. With a list collated and a tentative route planned we headed of at 6am. Crookedpete was his usual (un)organised self, and a phonecall from his son later that morning confirmed that his sunglasses had been found on the footpath outside his house. I think he should change his caching name to Wes -- Wes my phone, Wes my wallet, Wes my GPS....
Despite much jocularity, humour and friendly ribbing we had a job to do and 20 caches to find. Swellerfungus was acting secretary and did an admirable job of recording and performing the calculation on top of Navigating duties. Crookedpete had the important job of anchoring the team - he just weighed us down all day.
Managed to find a car park close to the waypoints despite the preponderance of cars for the nearby church. As we gathered the information at the first few WPs we were pulled up short at the Exersite. It seems the local oxygen thieves have decided to entertain themselves by kicking down all the signage. Three of the signs were badly damaged but the required sign was now smashed to pieces (see photo). We managed a bit of jigsaw puzzling but in the end took a punt on the required number. We headed off to our calculated GZ and it did take us a while before we located our 8th multi cache thanks to the clue. TFTC

After an extended break from caching over the past couple of months (thanks to Fungus fixing an old car and then driving to Central Australia to meet a tow truck to bring the car back to Brisbane), the old bromance team of SeffnJarah, Crookedpete and Swellerfungus were finally back together for a day of multi ..... ahem ..... *fun.*
Last year, a few months apart, the *vertically challenged* two thirds of the Bromance had signed the logbook of a certain London challenge cache, based entirely on multi's. One of the many criteria to qualify for this challenge was to find twenty multi's in a day.
We had some minor problems at the fitness equipment waypoint, as it seems the necessary sign has now been kicked to bits. However, we took a punt on this clue and got there in the end. This was the eighth of twenty multi finds for the day.
Many thanks, Triam
Pete

And so it came to pass that the three Bromance-keteers were back together once again, fighting the good fight against a tyranny of the Multi Caches.
'20 multis in a day' they said.
'It can't be done' was the reply.
Lets give it a damn good crack then! Off I went (Sweller 'd'Artagnan' Fungus) with Seff 'Aramis' njarah and Crooked 'Porthos' Pete
As noted ny my friends, this cache may need an updated waypoint, otherwise found without too much hassle!
Thanks to the CO for the cache!

Pulled up at the park after dropping Mrs RoddyC at a client. Started search and immediately found mosquitos on my arm so back to GeoFalcon for spray. I now remember reading about that!
After a short walk around (I went anti- clockwise because of where I parked) I had the numbers so off I went into the bush. After 10 mins or so with nothing to show I thought there was something wrong.
So back to the GeoFalcon to re calculate. Bummer! I didn't see that minus!
Five minutes later (and another liberal spray of Bushmans) I was signing the log book. You were sure correct about those mosquitoes - most viscious I have ever seen!
Found at 10.15am on 21st April 2016. TFTC.

Nice to find a good sized cache, covered in cobwebs but nice and dry and clean inside.
Signed the log, re-hid the cache and left before the mozzies ate us!

# 1326 - Wombles and Co and I set out to finish our March challenge. As it was we both needed caches of different types, so we sort of doubled up, but no big deal. We had a great day.
This was the first one and after a quick spray against the mozzies (I carry a spray can in my geo-backpack ) they left us alone and we could take our time for the search. W&c found the container in a good spot and the logbook was soon signed.

Lost several pints of blood to the mozzies... gave up while still had strength to walk out.
I needed a multi that starts with a 'C' in order to complete DECEMBER for the nearby challenge. This one fit the bill just fine. I walked around the park and quickly gathered the required numbers. Due to the trees and a wandering gpsr the container took a little longer to find. In the end it was an enjoyable multi. TFTC Tram.
Geofriends x 2 and I found this one today. Getting Co ordinates was the easy part. Finding the well worn path was a much harder task, ended up going in the wrong way and taking the long way round. But geofriend found it in the end. Tftc.
Out for a day of fun caching with teamdfl and IolantheK where we found ourselves travelling to various locations searching for caches that none of us had yet found. As we made our way toward the cache location we were each trying to get our caching devices to work properly. With my GPS in for repair, attempting to use a smart phone for the first time was really proving to be quite amusing!
We soon found ourselves at ground zero and the cache was quickly spied. With our names added to the log book, we made our way back to the car to head off to the next location.
Thank you Triajm for having placed the cache for everyone to enjoy.

Found the clues quickly and reread the clues to make sure the relevant factors were applied. Good to see a decent size container close to burbs. Signing the logs was unfortunate to have a few march flies and mozzies descend. Looks like winter is over . . . TFTC
Thought we would pick up a couple of caches around the area today. After completing a few further up the road we stopped in to get the required info for this one. Didn't take us too long to find it all and get the co-ords. Went down the road a bit and started the little trek. We had done a few caches in this reserve not long ago!

Wednesday. Slow Puncture ventured out with a view to capturing the few missing dots on our map around the general peninsula area.
We entered through the track on the eastern side and went to find "What a Hoot" first. During our trip to that cache, Luke received a PAF from Orange Crew regarding a SP cache, so as we had been previously unsuccessful finding this one, we hit him up for a hint, and a good hint it was too!
However, we had already been looking for something along that line, combined with the online hint. The trick, we found, was the direction you are viewing it from. Some things are not as they may seem!
This was the 3rd of 4 caches we found on this trip.
Thanks [Blue]Triam[/Blue], for showing us this interesting place. Again

Good fun! A big outing here with 5 members of the CCF on the hunt. Harry thought it was very cool for it to be in an ammo box. Mind you; so did Jim. Laylah loved being able to swing a stick around in the woods, while Sam loved encountering a little area of bush in the middle of suburbia. Bridgette, on her first cache, was a little worried at the prospect of snakes but enjoyed the activity.

Sunday. Slow Puncture was out and about today trying to knock off some remaining caches around the Peninsula and nearby area.
This was turning out not to be our day. We drove to the reserve and found our way in, along the northern fenceline. That was a mistake. Every house there appears to have a dog, and they all seemed bored. One's barking started the next off, like dominos falling. So we hightailed it into the bush area (which we had to do anyway), and carefully navigated our way to GZ, according to our corrected co-ordinates.
We found 2 or 3 objects which could have been a hiding place, but all came up empty. We tried a PAF but the description we were getting seemed to not match with the location, so that was even more confusing. As we were getting savaged by mozzies we called time on this.
When writing this log (which was a silly way round of doing things) we note that "The cache is within 2m of this path". We certainly found the path, but we were not searching 2 metres off it, so it appears we stuffed up somewhere! We will be back!
This was the 3rd of 3 DNFs we had on this trip.
Thanks [Blue]Triam[/Blue], for showing us this place anyway, we will be back one day!

TFTC! Did this one at night , but realised it was deffo a day time find ! Came back today and had to dodge some Nast arachnids to get to the cache! Good hide though
In and out once we had the right coords! Great hide! Spiders galore! Oh and mozzies, ambushed us the second they smelt humans!!!
TFTC! Out for a morning caching mission to better my 2 types in a day to 3 types in a day and to grab my first multi-cache and second puzzle! I happy to say I have succeeded!
Didn't find the sandy track at first but came right in the end. Even covered in aeroguard the mozzies still swarmed around me. I almost gave up as the GPSr jumped around a bit. With some perseverance I managed to locate the right tree!
This was my first multi-cache! Thanks Triam!

We had a pleasant stroll around the park to collect the clues.
I needed to find this one for my March challenge and the worst mosquito swarm I have ever seen wasn't going to put me off. Muggle bf ran away
Log signed and cache returned. Thanks for the cache, all is good with it.

Decided another multi would be nice & as this one was close by it was selected for the honour!
We had fun collecting the information needed despite the drizzling rain.
OK, co-ords in hand it was time to tackle the cache proper!
Into the Geo-beast & off we go to find GZ.
Well, barking dogs & a million mozzies aside we forged ahead through the undergrowth to find our prize.
Wasn't a long search, Geo-partner called 'Hold on!' so she could get a photo of the mozzies on my back just as I stopped beside the cache.
In between the photo shoot & being eaten alive I managed to extract the log, sign & replace it & resecure the cache.

Thanks for a great multi, well defined and easily achievable with accurate info. Cache is safe and sound, not hidden really much, tried to find some camo to throw in front of it, but not much seen at night
I.don't often have time for a multi but this was fun. Take bug spray. You will need it.
An interesting park that we've driven past many times but never realised its significance. TFTC and for bringing us to the park.
Multi cache are possibly the one that I have given the least time to and for some reason avoid them, but that is mostly because I am not prepared.
Today though I was prepared and had my print out ready to take down the answers, which was much easier then trying to juggle the phone and a book and keep track. Easy enough to get the answers, and although I consider taking the walk, time was getting on and I also had places I needed to be at a certain time, so took the car for the short drive.
I did not see the path immediately and took the break along behind the houses. It was only after I was heading into the cache that I noted the path. Anyway the cache was a quick find and I picked up the two TB since they had been sitting around for a couple of months, just to get them moving again.

We are fairly new to multi's so thought this one looked straightforward and about our speed [:o)] We did our duty recording the numbers and turned them into a reasonable looking set of co-ordinates. With geogirls skipping along behind we were of in the right direction Did I say we were new to these? After wandering around trying to make the numbers move in the right direction (note to self: bring gps next time not smartphone) we finally began to get the hang of it, but not before the trail on our screen looked like a psychotic snail on speed had chased itself up it's own drainpipe before having an epileptic fit and passing away With geogirls faith in my orienteering skills severly shaken (and rightly so) we eventually seemed to be on the right track. Using the hint we found the container in good condition. There was no Seaturtle TB in the cache but we did find a geokangaroo TB which was not listed in the inventory. We dropped a few trackables in for the next cacher. Thanks for a very entertaining afternoon Triam
Worked out the co-ords fine but had trouble finding the path. After completely going the track we finally found it. Tftc
Staying for a night in Redcliffe before hitting the airport early the next day, we thought we'd nab a few finds in the area. We don't do many multis and we really should as this was a bit of fun. Always happy to find these containers too!
