A DNF- The CO does not have been active since January 2014. Might be time to bump this cache ?

Thought we would give this a go, but alas no cache found, may need a review from owner to see if it is still safe.
Had a go at finding this one with Dannza today. Looked high and looked low. I hope it is safe higgins-clan. Saw a turtle
HAPPY BOXING BAY.
Mum has recently bought a van to travel around Australia in a few months time.
So a test run was needed. [^]
So a few days were planned to head south from Brissy and travel from cache to cache.
On Xmas Day we slowly we made our way south to Byron Bay and then up to Brunswick Heads looking for a caravan park to stay for the night without success. Eventually we found space at Wooyung.
Today we plan to make our way slowly north going from cache to cache. It seems every caravan park up the coast is full so we decided to head inland, eventually finding space in Murwillumbah. Lots of caches out this way as well. [^]
Like the previous searchers we could not find any sign of this one. After so many finds it might be time for the CO to check it out and see if it is still there.

Decided to go on a drive in an area South of the Gold Coast today, collecting mainly drive by type caches, with 3 of the kiddies on board. Grabbed quite a few finds for the day, and one DNF, but that happens. Good weather, good time driving around. We even grabbed three of those finds at night. Thanks to all cache owner for hiding and maintaining their caches. TFTC.

No good here today. We scoured the tree for about 20 mins, high and low, but to no avail. Maybe next time.

Great spot for a cache and you don't have to worry about too many muggles. We have previously bypassed this cache in the hope of doing both this and the Tip Road cache on the same drive.
So nice to see another cache with room for swaps, geo-g-kids love looking for something to swap.
Thanks for the cache Higgins-clan. SLTNLN

Last cache for the day ... much to the kids disappointment!
Tricky find but spotted by Miss 6
Watch the traffic ...
PS: remember to park on sold ground - we were bogged for 30 minutes but added to the sense of adventure!

Found after a bit of looking. Had the log out and filled in when along came a Muggler on a push bike. Had to make a hasty retreat to my car till he got out of site. Replaced log. TFTC Gotcha16
another quick find on a sunny day out with the kiddlets.
Cache is broken so we put it in a bag.

On way back from the tip I dropped off to pick this one. Easy find and one can understand why this cache is so placed, flooding would have to be a problem. If you have any respect for your vehicle DON'T come via the tip road but turn off the highway directly. The section from the tip has potholes that could consume a "coach and four". Thanks To The Higgins Clan for giving us a challenge.
Followed spikey 100 later on in the day on my way home from netball in Murwillumbah with geo niece.
I love the way it is hidden but at the same time easy to spot when in the right place! Yes those pot holes nearly swallowed my car!!! Thanks Higgins-clan

On the way to Surfers for Xmas, had a night in Marwillumbah to do the Lolly Bag Loop & to find a few other caches as well.
Detoured to find this one, a good hint made it easier to find
Thanks higgins-clan

Nice easy find full of goodies for the kids. Was a bit worried that I may drop the cache in the creek! TFTC higgins-clan.
found the cache in the logical spot and also spotted a few eagles(?) enjoying the feast created by the tractors ploughing the field nearby.
This one was a must as in a previous life I was a sugar chemist for the DPI a quick and easy find then off to next TFTC
Arrived with Ms Wig who was happy to explain the reason for this creek and what it's purpose was.... so that was interesting!!
Cache soon found, thanks for a bit of local interest higgins-clan

Loved the railway line driveways along this route, like having your own moat. TFTC.
Great little trip through the area. Good to know you put it just before the unpaved road. I replaced the logbook because it was saturated, but I left the pages with logs and the original log. Took TB Tri Tool and will put it with a nice quilt before moving to next cache.

Great location on the way to Flanno's (recyling) Tip Shop! Bit worried by all the lightning during the storm but found the cache OK. TNLN.
Found this one very easily. Was stuck in place though and had to get hubby to shove it out for us. Kids were keen to get in and look around! Nelsoncrewau
Stopped on the side of the road without a muggle to be seen (my favourite kind of cache). It came to hand after a small hunt and was in good condition. I popped in a trackable for good measure. TFTC higgins-clan
out with the boys for the day
Find No 12 for today
Had to put a new log book in this cache. third time today I have had to do this.

On a caching weekend with Mr & Mrs Mischievous Maverick, and Mr & Mrs Rastas000. Great Fun. Thank you!
On a caching weekend away with Rastas000, Mrs Rastas, The Green Geckos (Both of them), my wife and I had a marvellous time. Oh, and we got some caching done, too!
Our final cache for the day as we headed for our overnight stop in Murwillumbah. WOOHOO. Day one down, day 2 to come!

Found with my brother Frayeromm, we were trying to identify the odour in the air, he said it smells like molasses? As we were leaving a guy pulled up and asked if this was the way to the garbage tip!! Der, molasses? Loved the placement, TFTC!!
Nice to have a couple of caches close together. Swapped a pen for a candle.
Note; the log booklet is full and needs replacing. TFTC. Cheers.

Found @ 1115 today on way to a course. Almost lost the car keys into the creek while retrieving the cache.
A beautiful day during cane season and a great hide by our Geonephew, who was onhand to watch our search end with cache in hand. This caching experience turned out very popular with our Geosons when they ended up having an impromptu chance at driving through the old cane roads where we learnt quite a few years back. Geoson #1 though he left his Geoaunt in his dust! Great spot. TFTC.
MattyRx and kids found this one pretty easily. Nice drive through the cane fields. Quite a few people driving and riding on these roads today. Did a few swaps – took the mini paint set, and left a ball game and yoyo. Thanks for the cache!
Mrs Herbz had this one licked before I'd even got out if the car. Nice Spot but we've now got a dusty car! TFTC.
First find of the day, found with daddyslilmatelhead TFTC, nice spot, kinda random too
First find of the day! Found with Uncle_Andy. Took Good Luck Coin, left bouncy ball. TFTC!
Had a few minutes to spare while working in the area. I had intended finding this cache a couple of months ago but there were people parked nearby at the time.
No-one about today. Nice easy find. Tftc

[green] Cache was a very easy find as it was visible from the road. The container could probably do with some camopaint. Took the golf tee and left a toy car. Ants around GZ were very fierce. TFTC

TFTC. You have got to love these long straight roads when you are following the arrow on the GPS.
Left a little crab (plastic not live) in the cache.

Gee how fast to you have to be to get a FTF around here.
We approached GZ from the north, traversing a reasonably well rutted dirt road for our little sedan. However, as we discovered continuing south on that road, the dirt part had some of the most interesting structures in the canal.
The view to Mount Warning wasn't so clear but the angle of the sun at that time of day highlighted what looked like a waterfall or water runoff area on the western peak. A sight I hadn't seen before in many years of travelling in and around M'bah.

FTF at 1:25pm Qld time, so 2:25pm NSW time. Came down there as soon as I was able and was happy to find a blank log book. Yay!
Sorry I couldn't log this any earlier. For some reason I have been unable to get into geocaching.com for the last 7 hours since I came home. I have just now been able to finally get into the website. Has someone tried to sabotage us?! I don't know. It's just been very frustrating.
Enjoyed the views and Mr. Mt. Warning has had his nose in the clouds this afternoon.
Took: can cover Left: $1 coin.
