Visited this morning with Astro Hunter, but we could find no trace of the cache. Obvious signs of lots of people looking around here, but no sign of the cache. Spread out 10 metres away from the coordinates but no luck there either.
No logs for three months, lots of obvious activity at the site. Can CO please check on cache?
Parked the car and met a lovely ginger kitty before a quick find on the cache. Tftc
Hm. Couldn't find... had a very long look around pole. Other people seem to have found it pretty easily... so it might be time to bring down the 'Cashing' buddies!
Hi found it, looked like it had rolled. Popped it under, in an obvious spot as not sure where its meant to be.
Called by to check the position of the cache. It should be placed beside the post. At present it is in danger of rolling. Unfortuneately I couldn't reach it too much mud in the rain.
Container was apart and left in the open. Not sure if in the right place now. Tftc.
Great cache! This was our tenth cache today and really please it was well worth it. TFTC
yay at last found it thanks to pronimos hints but I did myself tfhc also I left a dolpin toy and noting out kk
Geocaching takes you to many different parts of the county. A nice area. I had to by sone time waiting for muggles ti get to school. Then it was a dash to the gz and a quick pick up. Tftc took tb
because of the playground i had to search this cache without the help of my daughter.
Found with Omag. I put a mint tin in there incase anyone wants to use it for a cache.
Sixteen hours, 100 caches, mission from Rolleston to North Canterbury and back. #61 of 100. Found in the dark in the first place I looked, no shadows here tonight. TFTC.
Looked in said dark corner. Found said container. Good find after playin cricket. Tftc
I remember searching for this cache probably 10 or 11 months ago, just after I started caching, and left without finding it. Tonight, I went straight to it Always a good thing. Thanks for the cache

So since my car was in Belfast due to falling ill with it here the day before, I needed to return to pick it up. So a got a ride on over, but decided to find me my cache for the day first, since we were going out so far.
We decided that this one was reasonably close to the car, and looked like an easy one to do in the dark.
Rocked on up, and sure enough, an obvious hiding spot was spotted, and it contained the cache also! Eaasy!
Nice to have something so simple to keep the streak going on busy days
Consec caching day # 453

A nice quick find in the likely spot for a cache (& the first place I looked). A good sized container, too. I'll have to remember this one when I have TBs to drop off somewhere. TFTC
In the area for work and was able to stop for a hunt. It proved elusive, I only located it after exhausting all other possibilities and myself. TFTC.
Found it, a few muggles near the GC, they were too busy to notice what 1eyednbf (1 eyed and proud of it) was up to. Nice Hide

Had a spare hour and so headed out for a few caches this evening. Decided to carry on after spending 10mins on this one. To many possibilities in the dark.
Came out this way to avoid traffic to pick up a testpot for a client. The drive here was quick and easy. But the paint shop didn't have the colour I needed. Now off to Hornby!!! Traffic not so good this way I was risking it a bit going for this one just before school started. But I gave it a go anyway. As I parked near GZ a family of muggles were waiting to cross the bridge. They went. I went in for the grab and had to do a circle as a wee mugglet came zooming by on a scooter. The cache was found quickly and it was soaking wet. I see a makeshift log and bag had been deposited by Chessmad. I put the cache upright. Thanks for the cache.

Cache should be fine until next rain. then the next finder will have to pour out the water like I did.
Well the container is now more white than black, but hidden in the first place I checked. TFTC
Easy find. However the logbook was saturated and the bag was not providing any protection. left the cache out to dry for 20mins and placed in a small piece of cardboard with a new , holeless bag.
I did leave the partially dried logbook in the bottom in case the CO wanted to retrieve it.

Went for a nice walk around the park after finding, signing and replacing cache. TFTC
Quick easy find on my way past. Another Hello Mrs cache signed off! Log was getting a little damp, took it for a quick walk to help dry off. Thanks for the effort in placing.

Reperio at 1850.
After a great week was had touring around the South Island with Roostaman...including attending the mega event in Dunedin...we spent today finding some caches in and around this wonderful city of Christchurch. This one was definitely hiding in the shadows...and blended in well...but we soon spotted it.

I was in the area so thought I'd search for a couple of caches. This was one. After a few false starts this was being signed. TFTC
A very pleasant neighborhood, but I could hear the traffic from the major road nearby. We decided to get this one after Dan Reilly's nearby. Both quick. Nice.
Finding it was easy - putting it back when the Muggle family across the road decided to get the car out to wash it when I went to put it back was harder. Added a few swops.
Called by today and cleaned out the cache container. Removed the swops. Left the log and a new pencil in a fresh plastic bag. The log is ever so slightly damp. Didn't think it bad enough to replace.
had to be quick in and out with this as the woman across the road was trimming the vine around the power pole outside her house!! (True!) Took the TB. By the way, the log is a little dampish, but can still be written in.
Quick find- all very damp still. could do with a new plastic bag and a dry-out. TFTC
Quickly found once kids on scooters moved away.
Took TB.
The cache was quite damp presumably after heavy rain last night. The log could do with frying out.

In the area and on the way home - stopped by for a quick find, thanks.
Cache is VERY wet smelly and dank. Tipped the water out and added some extra silica (for what its worth)....but didn't have any plastic bags or new logs handy. Cache is in desperate need of a revamp. Some of the trinkets are going mouldy!! eek.

#565: Out of the Shadows
GeoYoungling #2 and I came to this one from the nearby CSGQ stash. Nice big fields here! A lot of rain, and so no muggles about, except those delivering adverts on the road. Cache is in great shape (log slightly damp), and is nestled way away from enquiring eyes.

Fairly quick fond after the new Belfast suburb cache.
Log book damp and hasn't been signed since July, so took both coins to move them on their way.

Had a feeling this one might be where it was as soon as I saw what was at GZ. Log was quite damp. TFTC (#141, 11.38am)
A nice spot to stop and find a cache. A close examination at GZ located it fairly quickly and the nearby seat was ideal for the log signing. TFTC, Biggles.
Found by my son in law-richbritty (a kiwi) and graemey from the UK, after watching my grandson play his first game of ripper rugby at Belfast Rugby club.TFTC.TNLN.Nice Hide.
Found with Graemey after watching my sons first rugby game at Sheldon park, gotta love the kids chasing each other. TFTC
Nothing but shadows right now . First find of the night, let's hope it gets the momentum going. TFTC.
