As I approached this I saw an object that stood out as odd... picked it up... nothing... put it back down and continued searching the area. Turned back around and spotted it. Had a good laugh at myself for missing it so it gets a fav point from me. Thank you SDL for the cache!
This is an excellent cache. I used to live in Oxley many years ago. This cache was a quick find, as the area was fairly clean and tidy. Thanks!
This was a nice quick find made by RoamingHowie. Great container. Thanks for placing this cache for us to find. A favourite coming your way.
This was a great hide and definitely worth a favourite point. Thanks for placing this for all to enjoy.

Great cache to end the night! Luckily coords were playing fair, so a fast find of the cacheand a spider web TFTC!
Found it! I think this was my first successful 3.0 in difficulty! I was actually quite surprised by how quickly I managed to find it, especially as it was getting dark - but admittedly, I owe my success to reading a tip in the logs as I was waking up that the cache had great construction.Ive walked down this path countless times over the years and I never expected there to be a geocache here until I joined.I think thats what is so brilliant about this cache - its doable and maybe even quick once you know youre looking for something slightly out of place, but its subtle and ingenious enough to have not been discovered by muggles for about thirteen years! Thanks for the cache, it was fun
finally was able to get out of work by 4 pm, which allowed me a little bit of daylight for a cache a bit further away.
Quick find.

I went for a drive down South after work today to colour in another suburb of the map.
Being unfamiliar with the area I took a wrong turn and got a little bit lost in the middle, but ended up being close enough to wander over.
Cache was rather creative I thought, not overly difficult, but cleverly constructed. Just out of place enough to be recognisable as not quite belonging. TFTC, +1 favourite point.

Haven't found a cache in Oxley before so here we are. A clever construction! TFTC!
#685 Being in the area with Turtle we spotted this one that he’d had his eye on for a while and thought what a better time to grab it. Parked safely in a nearby street and walked to GZ which gave us a few options to search. I haven’t picked up too many in this series, maybe only one, but of that one, and now two I’ve found them to be unique. Thanks Sol De Lune for placing this cache and maintaining it over the years, here’s hoping it sees many more
#2591 This cache has been on one of my lists since I was working through my 366 day streak. That has long since passed and I'm still going strong at 618 days. As we were nearby I decided it was well and truly time to go to GZ for the find. Thanks Sol de lune for this series. I did manage quite a few.
Bold hide! Quick enough find with Just_Jess!, we started looking in the wrong place but coordinates pointed us a little further away and toward a clever hide. Glad we visited! TFTC
Out for an evening of caching, nice hide. Great to see the thought put into the hide.

Found myself in Tuggeranong this morning, and remembered I still need a find in Oxley, do had a quick browse. Decided on this cache, and so parked at the provided waypoint and made the short stroll to GZ. The cache is well constructed, and I took notice of how large the logbook is, as there are logs from years ago!
Thanks for the fun

Lockdown has bought a totally different approach to caching with the introduction of homework! Much time for homework in fact. Therefore many more puzzles solved, both as a solo and collective effort. Thanks to my fellow geo buddies for assistance when needed.
And in between there are still some traditionals, though not nearly as many of them left these days
Logs all in good condition unless otherwise noted.
Thanks to Sol de lune for putting out and maintaining all of these caches for our enjoyment!

GPS was all over the place and Gerriactive's phone was skitterish too. This was a really fun cache to find - thanku and a fave from me.
This is one of those very clever hides. Took a little while with GPS all over the place under the trees. TFTC and a Fav from me.
Great cache, fluke that i found it so quickly one at gz there are many possible spots!
After running up the path in thongs as my phone was about to run out of charge, I hoped for a quick find. With the benefit of the hint and v accurate co-odds the cache was found. Great hide. And has lasted so long. A favourite from me for sure.
The hints and tips in the activity log were very helpful. If we didn’t have the tips, I don’t think we would have found it. Very clever hiding spot!
Second visit to this one - I can see why I don’t locate it the first time, it’s a very good hide - thank you! Mine is the first signature on the log since 2 August...
Found it! Nice hide! Forgot my pen so please accept this pic as evidence of find
Having found a sneaky cache like this at the start of my caching adventures I made a quick find. Thanks for a bit of nostalgia! Seems weird that the pool next door was being used today....I mean....it's a nice day, but it's still winter! TFTC!

Found with @bottlecapkid and @mcyazzy had fun getting this one, it was really creative
Got this cache earlier today. Had lots of fun but was bitten by a few spiders. This isn’t to scare anyone, just to warn people to be safe if walking into a bunch of bushes. The spiders didn’t come from the cache but around it. This is a few hours after, it looks a heap better but was extremely painful
... at least it looks pretty cool aha

Thanks for the cache Sol de lune. My, Canberra has a lot of suburbs!
I was in Canberra for the week for work, and after checking in to my accommodation, decided to go for a wander around the nearby lake and grab a couple of caches on the way.
It was quite a warm afternoon in Canberra, compared to the cool 19 degrees C I had left in Hobart, so it was nice to go for a stroll on a still evening, albeit a little smokey.
This was my third find for the evening before I headed back to my accommodation. A nice tricky hide, I have seen one or two of this style of hide before, so didn't take me too long to find.
This was my third trip to Canberra in 12 months, having visited for work almost exactly the same time last year, and having also attended the Clearwaters mega-event at Easter this year. Canberra is a great place to visit to find caches - there are so many! Thanks to all the Canberra CO's for providing so many opportunities to get out and about and discover Canberra.

Clever clever... Saw it and thought nothing of it, only to come back to it and it was it.. One of my favourites so far.
Nicely done indeed - though several very colourful birds were not all amused by

Day Fourteen in Queanbeyan.
BettyBoo3747 and I had a bit of a run down the Old Cooma Road in the rain, and when it eased a windy trip back through the suburbs.
This was about as far into Oxley we got today, but it was well worth seeing this cache.
Luckily we had seen similar so it was a quick find.
Thanks, Robmc.

#15833. Day 14 of our 2 weeks holiday in the ACT and surrounds. We are staying at Carwoola.
We persevered with Plan A for the morning even though the heavens had opened during the night and it was still pouring when we left home. We gathered up most of the ones along Old Cooma Road although there were rivers running through all the road works along this section. After our pretty and scenic drive through the countryside we wended our way home tortuously through the suburbs collecting some caches for the Mapping Challenge. Collected 42 smilies for the day.
Nice hide. Favourite point. The explorers certainly did suffer for their lifestyles, way back then.
Thanks Sol de lune

A day of cache collecting around Canberra - mostly with the aim of filling in a few suburbs, but scattered other caches included. Took a bit of searching, but eventually revealed itself. Adding a favourite point. TFTC!
Day 11: Clear Waters Mega Trip
Today was the day to attack the Southside of Canberra picking up our targeted caches.
Thanks Sol de lune for being part of my Clear Waters adventure.

I love a creative hide!! Out with K8tybee on a favourited cache hunt for the carnival challenge after popping in at a nearby event. A beautiful afternoon for a meander down the path. Thanks so much for the cache. A fav for me.
Very well constructed camo hide. Great to collect more souvenir points and tick off a suburb at the same time. TFTC.
Great little hide, took a while though, gps had us all over the place but persevered... love that moment!
I was doing some after work caching. Neat cache and great to see a different cache every now and then. Cheers
Parked at the recommended spot then wandered over to GZ. Found fairly quickly as I've seen this type before. This one well built.
Thanks,
Thanks,
Found this one with Joolay as we were heading south into Namadgi for CITO. Oh so lucky - 6th sense or was that geosense? kicked in and it was a quick find. Thanks for the effort put into this hide - all in excellent condition. FP for the effort of making own hide. SL
Found with Smittengranny on our way out to Honeysuckle Ck CITO. Very interesting cache and a bit unexpected. Ants were very friendly. TFTC
Thanks. One was already wandering in the bushes while the other did the victory dance. TFTC.
Tftc. Great hide and very clever. Only took a few minutes of circling around with my phone to make the find.
A late night caching expedition with a muggle friend, conquering the Canberra Mapping Challenge once and for all.
This was one of the easier suburbs tonight, only 3 caches but they were all easily accessible! Which one to choose though?
Well the D3 cache listed with an "Other" size and 39 FP's easily took the cake here! The other 2 looked fairly average.
Parked nearby and set off on foot, quickly reaching the GZ. A very quick find which we were thankful for, I have seen this type of hide before in the wild!
TFTC Sol de lune, an appropriately named cache given we were looking for one specifically in Oxley too!

Out with Trodectus getting Planetary pursuit points. this one is worth 15.
Oxley is the smallest Canberra suburb, so we didn't have very much area to cover in our search.
Quick find.
Thanks for an interesting and unusual cache Sol de lune[^][^][^]

Found with Decrypter. We were out increasing our points for the current challenge. We parked nearby and walked to GZ. Once there, we both walked past the hide and started fruitlessly searching elsewhere. On turning around, we saw the hide. TFTC.
This cache was a god send. The plan today was to go to the show, but as north Canberra is currently doing a great Atlantis impression beneath the waves, we needed another plan, and one that would keep the kids happy. So, we eventually agreed that we would go and see a movie, though as the kids couldnt agree we would split up... but, Black Panther was sold out so instead me and the eldest would wait.... and 2.5 hours in a mall is killer! After completely exhausting the whole mall, as well as Office Works, BCF and Bunnings, we still had 30 minutes to kill.... I know, there msut be a cache nearby and it has finally stopped raining.
Once at GZ my geodaughter made the find easily, very cool hide, favourite from me

Luck was on my side and instead of rain forecast the day was warm, sunny and perfect for caching. It was a beautiful day to visit the other side of town with StrangeTrousers and see what life is like on the other side of the bridge. A great afternoon with a tree climb, my first Wherigo and meet up with fellow catchers.
StrangeTrouses has a little chuckle when he saw this one. Aparently he has put out a similar one to this.

An unexpectedly lovely, warm day. The forecast was for a cloudy day with a chance of showers. CBRChic & I had no real caching plans, but we hatched a plan to raid down south after lunch with only a few hours available. It turned out to be a very entertaining set of cache adventures and no DNFs.
Well this looks familiar ! I recently did something similar on the Majura Cycleway. Not saying which one.

Very nicely hidden. Glad I was paying attention as this could be tricky! Thanks for the cache Sol de lune.
Found with Aquilus1, great cache. Luckily I was with Aq1 I did not see it when I looked at it but when Aq1 looked she found it. Great cache. TFTC.
My friend HappyUke came to Canberra to visit, so we went on a geomission to find a few well loved caches. She was 15 away from her 500th cache, so that the plan - get a stack of favourite caches, and hit a super favourite one for her 15th for the day. It was got hot by mid morning, so we also aimed for caches with not much walking! I grabbed 10 for the day, and it was great to find a few Southside caches I had been meaning to grab for ages - a very successful morning!
Fifth for me for the morning, and by now, we were looking for close parking to posted coordinates, and taking water even on very short walks. We wandered over to this one expecting a long search, but glad to have the CIH very soon after arriving.
Nice work Sol de Lune - a fav from me!

Well Cancon is on... so I must be in Canberra caching with AngelG27, while Finalf29 wargames! I found fifteen and reached my 500 hundredth! Finally the heat became too unbearable for even these two intrepid cachers. Great day, brilliantly clever caches and wonderful company.
This was my ninth for the day. The day was now getting very hot but AngelG27 and I were on a roll and could not stop. Thankfully AngelG27 found parking close by and we were soon at the GZ. AngelG27 spotted something...investigated and soon had cache in hand. Very clever hide. Favourite point from me. Thanks
